What made you want to become an idol?

“I always enjoyed singing and inspiring others like I’ve seen idols do, I always thought it was admirable... But I have to confess that I was not originally thinking about becoming an idol, I had a whole different plan.”

“It was after someone had came up to me with this offer to train to be an idol after they heard me sing that I ultimately considered it as something I could do with my life and although what happened after was awful, I don’t regret my decision.”

Myeon how do you feel about being the group leader.. You are pretty young so it must be stressful?

“It can be stressful. Aeris is one of the larger groups at twelve members including myself. We’re all still discovering ourselves fully so it can make leading a little tricky sometimes.”

“But I am proud to have been chosen as the leader of Aeris even when our circumstances were less than favourable. I will continue to put all my effort into making sure my bandmates get the recognition they deserve.

Myeon hows trainee life treating you? Hows your company treating you? Do you like your instructors?

What's it like being a leader in training Myeon? You have quite a lot of group mates to look after and guide aswell. Anyone who you specifically go to for help with these kinds of things when you get overwhelmed?

“It’s been challenging especially at first when they just threw the fact that I’d be leader of Aeris at my face without warning. But I’m not complaining, I appreciate all of them.”

“Group wise, I go to Yiifan. I guess you’d call him co-leader? Leto and Nisku give some good advice too.”

“But I try not to go to them when I’m feeling overwhelmed. They are meant to look up to me as a leader and I feel like if they know the stress is getting to me, it might effect their view on my capacity to lead them.”

“Out of Aeris, Kolasa gives some pretty good advice and his pretty handy at helping when things get a little too much. His group is a little bigger than the usual five so he knows how it feels somewhat.”

“and he actually finds my jokes funny which is appreciated. We go golfing together on the weekend sometimes.”

If you could collab with any idol, who would it be and why?

“That’s a good question. There is a few trolls I would love to work with.”

“I’ll keep most of them to myself but Kyun is one of the trolls that I would like to do a collaboration with. His a skilled rapper and I think our voices would match rather well.”

“Also my mandatory Seok mention here, we’re both vocalists and part of our groups visuals. Seok would probably be easy to work with and he is a very creative man. I suppose I should mention someone that’s not from MX, like a billion others, I would like to collab with Vasuki.

Where did you meet the other members of Aeris, Myeon? Did you all know each other previously, or did the company put you together? Did you all audition separately or together?

“I only really met the others when we were grouped together. I guess they already had the concept of our group ready before any of us were part of their company. Being told that I was in a group with eleven strangers and that we were all gonna live together in a dorm with only one room was a strange experience.”

“I think I had briefly met some of the others prior but none of us were really friends. Most of us, if not all auditioned solo.”

“It’s funny to think about how we used to be strangers now that all of us are so close to each other.”

Myeon what was it like transferring to a new company? What was your first impressions of the company/company owners and staff?

“Well....”

“There was a hopeful feeling sure, we were starting again fresh with someone that seemed better but there was unfortunately a lot of negative feelings at the start. After my former company seemed like a good place with trolls that cared at first too ... I was afraid that the others would get hurt again and maybe I wouldn’t be able to protect them.”

“I had a good first impression of Mantri like I mentioned before she did a lot for us but I was also suspicious because as the leader, I thought I’d have to be careful ... I was not in a good space at first. I’m glad my doubts had all been proven wrong however.”

“I wasn’t expecting anything like this when I agreed to answer asks..... T-Thank you, I love Mantri a lot. She’s been a second lusus to all of us in Aeris.”
