For the past couple of weeks I've been carrying a desire for an acoustic guitar. It's a recurring thought that has come and gone for the last ten years or so. Well today that desire became a reality and I'm excited about finally becoming the owner of my first guitar. I have zero experience playing this instrument but God placed it on my heart while I was walking along Kelly Drive. I imagined myself sitting along the river playing music that would glorify God, speak to my experiences, and aid in my personal healing. Lord willing this is the beginning of something beautiful and a healthy step in a lifelong process that He's orchestrating. I'm excited about learning how to use it and I believe healing music will be created with this instrument. I'll be sharing material periodically on social media and I'm open for any suggestions. And brothers and sisters, if there's something God has pressed on your hearts and minds, I encourage you to trust Him to provide as you decide to do it. Even if it doesn't make sense to you now, do what God says.
