Facts about Chizuko Hyuuga
The first part from ‚Give me wings‘ is about to end and I wanted to share some details with you. Some of them are new, some of them hinted in the story.
• Chizuko is older than Neji by nine years. It makes her the oldest of the Hyuuga descendants. • Chizuko’s and Neji’s mother was not a Hyuuga. Her name was Yoshiko Fujimine and she died shortly after Neji’s birth. Yoshiko still has relatives in the Mizu no Kûni; an older brother, his wife and their children. However, they’re complete strangers to Chizuko and Neji. They don’t even know about their uncle and his family. • Chizuko is about 172cm tall, making her the tallest female character in the story. • Between part one and part two of ‚Give me wings‘ will be a time gap of six years. Genma and Chizuko moved in together during that time. • Chizuko and Genma live for teasing each other. Not a day goes by without them making fun of each other but they never had a serious fight. One time, they were out eating together with Yugao and Hayate (Raidou refused to join them because he couldn’t stand the lovey-dovey atmosphere as he likes to say) and they got kicked out because Genma and Chizuko kept making sexual jokes. They couldn’t stop laughing. • Chizuko’s favourite sleeping position is lying in Genma’s arms and listening to his heartbeat until she falls asleep. When he’s on mission, she usually sleeps on his side of the bed and hugs his cushion. (And so does Genma.) • Chizuko’s favourite colour is green like her mother’s eyes. She’d always wished she was born with her beautiful dark green ones. • Chizuko prefers a Katana over her Kekkei Genkai. • Both, Chizuko and Neji are known as the most talented of the Hyuuga clan. • Chizuko really likes sake. She can drink a lot alcohol before really getting drunk and she rarely does so. The first and maybe only time she was genuinely drunk was her twentieth birthday. Genma had to drag her home, listening to her babbling about how hot he was and putting her to bed. But Chizuko still says that the terrible hangover the morning after was totally worth it. • Chizuko still covers the self harm scars because they are still strongly visible. • Chizuko waited until the age of eighteen to have sex with Genma. Though it would have been okay for her, he felt awkward about the age difference. • Genma and Chizuko are soulmates; they can’t live without each other anymore. • Hayate is Chizuko’s best friend. • Chizuko is still good friends with the owner of the restaurant she part-timed as a waitress. • Chizuko is really good at cooking and regularly invites her friends over for dinner. • In real life au’s, Chizuko is a PE teacher and runs a dance studio. • Part two of ‘Give me wings’ will introduce another of my OCs, telling their story out of Chizuko’s point of view. (Because I have literally zero motivation to write a whole story based on the manga. Seriously, who has time for that?) • ‘Give me wings’ is one of four well planned and big stories I am currently planning/writing. The others are ‘Hinagiku Gaiden: The stars in our sky’, ‘Who we are’ and ‘Beyblade – Metal Champion’ which I am writing with a friend of mine. • Chizuko and Genma have a different point of view about the start of their relationship. Genma says they were together after they first kissed, Chizuko insists that they became a couple when she confessed her love for Genma in the hospital. • Out of the two, Genma is more romantic. • Chizuko and Yugao like to talk about who’s better in bed, Genma or Hayate. (We will never know, though I believe both of them are amazing, lol.) • Genma calls Chizuko “my lady” when he’s teasing her. When he’s talking to others about her, Genma likes to call her “the love of my life” or “my other half.” Chizuko calls Genma “my cute idiot” or “darling” when she’s teasing him. (But they prefer to use their given names.) • Chizuko’s usually the one who does everything in the household. For one, Genma can’t cook. They would starve if Chizuko wouldn’t be the one reigning the kitchen. Plus, Genma’s unorganized as hell. At least when it comes to his clothes or anything not work-related. Chizuko even doubts that he knows how to handle a broomstick the right way. • Against the common believe, they are not sent on missions together very often. While Genma is with Raidou and Iwashi, Chizuko either works alone or with Hayate and Anko. • Chizuko can be annoying. Like, really annoying. And Genma seems to be the only person to not be bothered by that. • Out of Neji’s teammates, Chizuko likes Lee the most. (After Neji of course.) • Chizuko’s late teammates belonged to the Aburame clan and the Aimi family, which will be introduced in part two.
