I recently saw this benefit for the Mountain View Mausoleum, AKA one of Ghost's Ministry filming locations, that needs repairs:

While I am cash poor, I wondered if I could generate some donations by offering some of the photo etched devotional charms I've handed out at rituals or even maybe the acrylic Mummy Buck case:

There's more images peppered through my blog, but here's what the finished devotional charms look like:

Devotional charms are about 4 inches long, in black acrylic and photo etched on both sides. They are finished in silver with a keychain swivel and lobster clasp at the top and a mother of pearl or colored acrylic star at the bottom. Some of my frame designs are star patterns, and some are lyrics.

If I did this, it would work like this:

I offer a set number of slots (probably 5) for either a charm or Mummy Buck case.

You claim a slot via comment (on the official post, not this one) and we confirm via DM (we will need to follow each other.)

No claiming multiple slots.

Once confirmed, you make your donation directly to the Mausoleum fund (I'm not accepting any money) and DM me what name it's under so I can see it on the fundraiser page.

Once done, you DM me what combo of Papa/Ghoul you'd like. (Charms will be one of a kind for you, Mummy Buck holders will be one style, and I still need to work out if I can offer those bc they eat a lot of acrylic) I will make sure the official post has a clearly numbered photo of all image choices to pick from.

I need a few days to cut and finish. Let's say 5 days, and I will ship your charm USPS in a bubble mailer with tracking that I DM you.

If I do this, I'm donating about $10-15 in materials and postage. I would ask that your minimum donation to the Mountain View Mausoleum Fund is $30, but you can certainly donate more for additional infernal brownie points.

Lastly, I'm NOT SELLING THESE. Please don't ask me about buying them. My full time work is my own art and for many practical and spiritual reasons, I don't sell fan art . To date I've gifted about 75 of these away because I love Ghost and Ghost fans and I want to keep it that way.

Edit: Claims would need to be US only. I'm sorry but I can't afford to donate international shipping.

If you're a Ghestie that has received a charm at a ritual or via craft trade, would you please comment on this post? Just to vouch that the charms are nice and that I'm a stand up ghoul who can communicate and ship quickly?

Tulsa prep continues!

New Papa III design! :)

Early on, I did a bunch of experiments etching images of Terzo in his King of Sweden suit. But that was also early enough that I didn't have any experience with what would etch well or how big an etch needs to be to come out nicely. They were ok but not great on midtones. :/

The result is that my designs are pretty light on Terzo in his suit and heavy on his full vestments.

I'm trying to fix that! Starting with this new combo going out monday as a gift to someone in the fandom that saw a need for a Terzo fix-it, said 'hold my keg' a proceeded to run the field and win the fanfic super bowl. (That's a real thing, right?) I usually avoid prominent microphone pics, but omg this pose makes him look like he's warming up to Cirice someone <3<3<3 I really hope they like it!!!

Update! Primo can now double as a wall hanging or wearable ornament. I thought about tassles or charms and other dangle decorations... but for right now he's in charge of guarding my concert kandi collection. :)

It has his beautiful nose, his censer and even a little bit of ghoul action. And I'm so happy that it's got some spooky atmosphere to it. I'm calling it a success -- Primo has been etched! :)

(I'm still brainstorming how to finish him since this is about 4 inches tall and will probably be a wall ornament!)

Latest of the Tulsa show devotional items. I went from fumbling all the ghoul portraits to getting a Ghoulette and a DOUBLE GHOUL etching! Yay! Also, the last two Perpetua designs I tried I think came out the best. So happy his white eye is clear in them!

The round one... I found a silly snap of Terzo doing the 'call me' hand sign and couldn't help it. I wish the photo had been clearer around the gloved hand, but ah well. Also, the font is literally the one used for phone books. Anyone remember phone books? 😅😆

Doing one for me and oops! I messed up the alignment on both prototypes so they are... not perfect! lol Gonna try again on a fresh sheet of acrylic!

I love Roky Erickson. Ghost's cover cemented Papa in my heart. So this one I did the lyrics of If You Have Ghosts as a border and put Roky on one side and Mr. Forge on the other.

I was so sad to read the fucked up weather canceled 3 shows. I'm driving to the Tulsa show and, well, I knew by the date and route when I bought my ticket that weather issues will be a possibility, so I'm somewhat emotionally prepared. I'm still crossing my fingers that weekend is crystal clear.

Here's what I've done so far, including the not perfect ones. The cream one is what they look like before I peel the paper tape off that protects the acrylic surface during the etch.

So far I have mix n match patterns of Papas with their ghouls and some song lyrics for the border. Terzo has He Is, Copia If You Have Ghosts and Secondo has Jigolo Har Megiddo. The unpeeled Ghoul one has an Impera front and Meliora ghoul back and lyrics to Square Hammer.

Still trying to develop a Perpetua one with lyrics. I'm thinking Umbra or Lachryma?
