WHAT IS HYGGE TO ME?

Today was rainy , cold and wet ad making myself go out and spend time in the forest was the best feeling. It was so refreshing to go embrace the weather and wrap up warm rather then that staying inside. I have ended the day feeling so positive and fulfilled. Typically on a day like today , i would have felt low , often writing the day off and not have been very productive. Instead, i got hilariously soaked as i collected flowers and leaves, came home and dried them on the flue of the fire and spent time drawing them with a hot chocolate in-front of the fire. 

So, to me , HYGGE means stripping the day back and enjoying the simple pleasures. Over coming obstacles and making the best of every little situation that may come my way. Today i have seen some beautiful things and created some memorable moments. Throughout this project, i want to continue to work in this simple way , embracing the integrity of the materials i use.
