My First VoxBox

I received this product through a VoxBox and didn't know what to expect when I got it. I have ombre hair, so I therefore only applied it to the blond parts of my hair and it actually worked! I noticed it especially on the ends of my hair. It says to leave in for 5 minutes, but I left it in for about 10-15. The smell of this product is very strong, somewhat like bleach and toner combined. It also says to use the whole bottle, but I didn't and still used a generous amount of it.

I received #myjohnfrieda VoxBox for free this month from Influenster for my honest review and I must say I am quite impressed. After only one use of all three products (Shampoo, conditioner, treatment) I see a difference in terms of the tone of my hair. It did not dye why whole head darker, rather, it made my color more vibrant. The shampoo comes out a shiny dark brown, which was a little scary at first because I was nervous it would stain everything, but it wasn't the case. You wash your hair the same way you normally would and then rinse off your hands. There is no staining what so ever. My hair felt a little dry after shampooing it but everything changed after the conditioner. The conditioner really moisturized my hair and brought back my curls to life! I was pretty surprise at how soft my hair was afterwards. The treatment is the third step of the Visibly Deeper line and I personally find it keeps everything together and darkens the same way the shampoo and conditioner does. It smells great and leaves your hair a little less soft than it would be if you only put the conditioner. For that reason I find it important to have a good moisturizer to put in your hair afterwards. I do recommend it as I find it helps with enhancing your hair color even more, rather than just using the shampoo and conditioner!
