funniest thing about rsl's acting style compared to everyone else in house md is that you can feel how much he yearns for the stage. he loves putting on his slightly elevated, no-one-actually-speaks-like-this tone for wilson. when he messes up in the bloopers he doesn't say "sorry idk what scene i am in", he says "sorry idk what play i'm in" (rough paraphrasing). in interviews he states that he wants there to be an episode of the cast preforming hamlet in it's entirety. he repeatedly states television is just for the money for him. he cheats out as if there's an audience (his "triangle legs"). and this is absolutely how i'd act if i were a big tv star so i can't even judge.
