myloyalty started following you
‘‘Mister Compress~”
The ancient overlord stepped out of the darkness which seemed to scurry away in fright the moment he did. “Such a lovely honor to meet you in person. I hope I haven’t given you a fright, old sport~”
@myloyalty
"Hey, Feathers! Race me!"
@myloyalty for compress!
Did your parents ever tell you not to talk to strangers?
Well... Serra’s hadn’t. ( Though way more often than not, she’d lull herself to sleep with thoughts of the things they may’ve told her, had they not had to drop her off at the monastery for a bit. ) Serra’s hadn’t, and truly, it was a lesson she probably needed to be taught.
But she hadn’t, so she did. Especially if said stranger was half-collapsed, bleeding somewhere. She appeared with all the flourish of an angel descending from the high heavens.
“Your healer’s arrived! Lucky you!”
No, she doesn’t know this man — and maybe if she used her phone more than an Instagram machine, she’d recognize him at least enough to know she shouldn’t be saying she’s his healer...
“Sit still, alright? You can save all your compliments and praise for after!” Light gathers between her hand and her outstretched staff and finds its mark on her... well, her patient.
@myloyalty ❝ If you can’t trust your gut, then what can you trust?“ ❞ from toshi
“Facts Toshinori. I trust in the facts. They’re what proves your gut instinct is right, after all.”
@myloyalty
@myloyalty for that Tamaki
Victim Potential new friend spotted? Nemoria certainly thinks so as she pins down a solitary table in the cafeteria, so far with only one occupant. She’s still fairly new here, and the hero in training hasn’t really made any close friends yet, but she’s ever optimistic.
Which is why she finds herself approaching briskly, tray in hand and oh, about five pigeons perched around her shoulders as she greets the lone occupant.
“Bonjour! May I take a seat here?”
@myloyalty liked for a starter
Rei finds herself wandering aimlessly through the city, enjoying her newfound freedom away from both that accursed ward as well as financing the divorce that would separate her from Enji. It felt like it had been years since she had this sort of freedom, and as much as she’d like to enjoy it spending time catching up with her family and starting brand new, there is something she must do.
Years and years of doubts had plagued her mind, replaying that day’s events over and over in her mind, and without the doctor’s constant supervision she was allowed to muse to herself. About the inconsistencies of how that day unfolded, and the things that just didn’t add up, on top of not having a body to bury?
No, it just didn’t seem right, she couldn’t actually believe her eldest son was dead. She would feel it, deep in her being, a mother’s sense if he truly was gone from this world.
Which is why having access to finances and certain resources came handy, as she had contacted some...less than savory sources that had some tidbits of information to give for a price. One such lead was something that settled something uncomfortable in her stomach, but she had heard...reports. Seen the news broadcasts and Enji’s showdown against...that villain.
The villain whose flames burned bright blue just like Touya’s, who shared the same blue eyes. Eyes of his father.
Was that truly...her child?
If so, then the only way to confirm it was to somehow get involved in the League, and from there she could only pick up a bread crumb trail of where they could currently be hiding.
Which is where she finds herself meandering towards the less than reputable parts of the city, closer to the outskirts and with many shoddy and abandoned buildings were present. She understood the risks, of the danger trying to get involved in such a volatile group could entail, but what was the point of freedom if she still restrained herself from pursuing her own desires.
Like that of finding the truth of what happened that day, of what became of her Touya.
So on she continues down the darkening streets, where the street lamps faded and all fell almost unnaturally silent.
