Sugar Babe Sugar Scrub
Lush Product Description:
Sugar Babe is a gentle alternative to the intensity of Sugar Scrub. It's a mix of sodium bicarbonate and cream of tartar, which makes it sound more like a cake than a cosmetic, and moisturizing coconut oil.
How I Use the Product:
When it is brand new I use the scrub as pictured above all over my body after a light rinse with water then soap up and continue shower as usual.
Crush it up in a Lush Body Butter Tin and scoop it out and rub across skin then shower as usual.
My Experience With Sugar Babe:
Hey ladies & gents. Sugar Babe is absolutely amazing and smells great too. I am usually not a fan of the coconut oil scent but this is actually pretty acceptable. I love to use this on my body after a rough long day when I need to wash away my stress. The scrub it intense at first and gets rid of excess dead skin to reveal a healthy new layer of skin. Does that make sense? Either way after showering I come out with new smooth and moisturized skin! I'd recommend this to girls with dry peeling skin.
I can't wait until I finish all my Lush products so that I can legitimize buying more =]
Blackberry Bath Bomb
LUSH product description:
The frisky scent of blackcurrants will tug at the corners of your mouth, pulling them towards your ears. Bergamot relieves tension and frankincense will wrap itself around you like a cozy blanket. All your cares will dissolve into a warming purple haze.
My experience with this bath bomb:
Why didn't I try this sooner? My LUSH counter in Macys was closing and the guy was such a sweet heart that he gave me, @lorrynetta and her sister free bath bombs woop woop! And this is sorta up there with my infatuation with Twilight bath bomb =]
Oh yeah, the bathtub was my favoritist color in ze world! PURPLE. The water was luxurious and oily feeling. I was happy the entire warm bath (click here to find out why I took a long bath). I felt pretty moisturized and it was proven when I got out and wasn't dry. I refrained from using any body butters or my beloved Charity Pot lotion to make sure I liked the bomb. I would suggest this bath to those who like refreshing scents and a beautifully oily but not too greasy feeling bath. Plus the color lasted the whole bath =]
Btw, It has a surprise inside. I think this is one of those underrated bath bombs, try it out next time you visit you Lush store or their website =]
Buffy Body Butter
LUSH USA product description:
Use Buffy on wet skin, in the bath or the shower, to make you softer and smooth to the touch. Buff yourself all over, paying special attention to your backside if you would like special attention to be paid to it in future; rinse off the ground up exfoliating bits of rice, almonds and beans and pat yourself dry.
My experience with the body butter:
Buffy is my go to body butter. Its better and quicker than lotion if your hopping out the shower and into the bed for sleep. Or If you are in a rush and need to moisturize and get on the go. Buffy has shea butter that leaves the skin super smooth after scrubbing with the exfoliating pieces of rice.
WARNING WARNING WARNING !!! This is an extreme exfoliater. A lot of people complain that this scratches them, hurts to much and is all around too much scrubby. However in a sick way I like the pain. The extra scrubby bits reveal a new epidermis for me that is smooth and begging to be touched =] I would suggest rubbing it on your hands first and then applying it to the areas you desire, if Buffy is too rough for you that is.
Buffy is one of my LUSH cult classics. If I don't have it my skin is not happy therefore I'm not happy =\
Ocean Salt
LUSH product description:
Ocean Salt comes from Rowena's love of all things scrubby. It's like taking your face on a trip to the seaside for an invigorating splash in the water, then cleansing and refreshing it with lemon, grapefruit and lime juices
My experience with this body scrub/face wash:
I wanted to hold off for a while before doing a review on this scrub. I use it mostly on my face and I wanted to see results before I just threw it at you like I'd do with a soap or a lotion.
I personally love it, its my new go to when all things go wrong, its my new face fix. The smell is amazing, anything citrus if you didn't already know makes me happy. And to wake up in the morning with it on my face? Plus Plus Plus.
I think this is an amazing scrub because I do feel like its evening out my skin tone and feel. After using the scrub my skin is smooth and pimple free. Lush says that lime and alcohol help surpress blackheads and other outbreaks. I believe it is true. I don't know what happened to the side of my face but I started to break out when I woke up in the morning. Scrubbed on some Ocean Salt in the morning and at night. By the time I was washing my face at night the inflammation went down and I wasn't scared. This product also helps eliminate previous blemishes from old pimples =]
