        Something weird was going on. 

It was hardly uncommon to brand anything in Gravity Falls as weird, teeming with oddities galore. But this couldn’t have been the result of just an everyday, paranormal misadventure. Walking to work, the day had started just like any other-- up until she caught sight of the shack, swarming under investigative surveillance. She turned around without a second thought. If that wasn’t enough, it wasn’t very long after that practically everything in town was tossed from the face of the earth. Sailing up like a batch of released balloons-- and thrown back down with far more force. From afar she could hear car alarms blaring, panicked screams, the thundering rumble of buildings caving in on themselves. It was straight madness. The town was silhouetted in black against an uncannily vibrant red sky; a place she’d known as home for so long had somehow transformed into something out of a jacked up horror movie. 

Fortunately, all she’d gotten from falling were a few scrapes and bruises. Perching herself down on an overturned tree trunk, she bandaged a cut on her knee-- taking a moment to catch her breath and rub the back of her head. She sat there debating with herself on what she should do. Maybe look for her dad and brothers? Make sure they were okay? Or even stop by the shack to try and get some answers... Her internal debate came to a hasty conclusion when she noticed Dipper ambling off down the path by himself... looking more conflicted and nervous than usual. He seemed to be in such deep thought that she wasn’t sure if he even noticed her sitting there yet. Clearing her throat, she waved an arm to try and get his attention. 

“       Hey, Dipper? ” Part of her wanted to bombard him with questions about what happened-- but, in courtesy of his distraught state, she found herself feeling more concerned for his well-being. There was something heavy on his mind... she could see it crystal clear from where she was sitting a few feet away. “You all right?”

A Second Chance (Closed RP)

Pacifica woke before the alarm went off. Her body still at rest as her mind started up.

There was so much still to be done. Boxes that waited to be unpacked, registration for classes, and not to mention paperwork that still needed to be completed. Who knew the real world could be so difficult. For the first time in the young Northwest’s life, she was without daddy’s money.

“If you want to associate with his kind, you can BE one of their kind.”

The blonde sighed as she rolled over onto her side. Her jade eyes falling on the figure that laid still beside her. In her mind it had been worth it, even if the first year had been the hardest of her life. It was actually like being granted freedom, but with freedom came a price.

Without the Northwest fortune, Pacifica was forced to work for her keep. It would have been impossible if it wasn’t for Dipper. Together they had did it. Moved to the other side of the country. Shruggled and worked until they could actually afford a decent place to live. Now, they were going to be working towards careers.

To Pacifica...this was almost a sort of paradise. Freedom with a pride that came from hard work. She had earned her lifestyle now and even if it wasn’t as...expensive as the one before, she truly could say she loved it. She wasn’t a link in a chain anymore and she’d never have to fear being a puppet ever again.

Scooting across the cotton sheets, Paz sighed softly as she pressed herself to Dipper’s back. Creating the big spoon, she wrapped her arm around his chest as her head came to nuzzle between his neck and shoulder. Allowing her eyes to slide shut, she basked in the bliss she felt. This man was more than a blessing, he was her second chance.

Pressing a kiss to the skin of the other’s neck, Pacifica jumped slightly as the alarm went off. With an annoyed sigh, she pulled from the other before gently hitting his arm.

“Dipper, the alarm.”

  ”Hey!” Dipper called over to the boy not too far ahead of them both .”We’ve been waiting in this line for three hours! What gives, man?” He paused, turning to Hiro, a slightly upset expression on his face. “I don’t think he can hear me.”

 ○ " Maybe. But that doesn't give him the right to just walk past us!" He said the last bit a bit louder, just in case the guy would pay enough attention to hear him. "Jerk." Hiro mimiced Dipper's scowl. " ----- This convention thing really is something, huh? What if we don't get the tickets?"

A young blonde man stepped off a Greyhound bus, a suitcase handle in one hand and duffel bag straps in another. He looked around at his surroundings, taking a few deep breaths of fresh air. The boy found himself at the end of a cracked road surrounded by various shops and diners. Looking around excitedly, he wondered where he should go first. He was visiting a small town in Gravity Falls, Oregon, taking a break from ever-busy Boston. Known to try things nobody would look twice at, he happened upon a dusty old travel pamphlet for the small town while at the gas station and instantly fell in love with the naturalistic area. On a whim, he decided to give his girlfriend a break to catch up on her studies and enjoy the good old Pacific Northwest.

He took out the traveler's guide now, flipping through the various folds advertising several different attractions, looking for one that caught his eye. Golfing? No, no, he was no good at that. There was a pool, but it was closed right now. It wasn't until he got to the back of the pamphlet when he saw an ad that he wasn't sure he noticed before. Mystery Shack? he thought to himself. It looked interesting enough, and there were free tours and a gift shop. Why not? He stopped at a run-down motel, checking in and dropping off his suitcase and unpacking his duffel bag before making his way to the tourist attraction.

Once he arrived, he opened the door, a small bell chiming to announce his arrival. A few people milled about the shop full of souvenirs, a girl sitting at the register reading a magazine. He walked over to a kid that looked like he knew his way around, wearing a baseball cap that matched the ones stacked up on the shelves. He smiled to the younger boy before introducing himself. "Hey, I'm Tamaki Suoh. I'm visiting from Boston for a while. I was wondering, are there any attractions you'd suggest I'd go and see?"
