He’s not saying anything. He’s just going to stare.
She is just going to stare back honestly. She’s inhuman she doesn’t need to blink.
“I....am concerned for you.”
“I am going to start sending you humans that want to ‘Fuck’ me to pocket dimensions!”
She had to wait to manifest herself until the two of them were alone- she was the only one who quite knew about this and it was better that way. Or until he showed up anyways.

"Well, yes, um…." She still was not exactly so lenient with her secrets. But despite that the spirit projected one of the pages of the third journal, as well as two from the other journals.
"What? What’s got you so nervous?"
He didn’t like the unease that spread across her face. It was odd, because he’d only met her moments ago, but it felt like he’d known her for years. He’d carried her along beside him for such a long time. He wished he’d been more gentle
She did what she did best, made an excuse.
“Things that cannot be comprehended on the simple plain of mortal thinking.” yes, that worked well enough for her cause of trying to keep secrets. The human boy would not suspect a thing from words such as that. She was as sly as ever- which translated to her lack of any comprehension of humans.

"I’m not saying you should give up- I’m saying you should use that intelligence that you humans apparently have." the book replied. She could not feel sympathy for the boy only because she had seen this before. "You are going down a road that leads to nothing but suffering- and I have a feeling you won’t only drag yourself down. Think of it that way- if you cannot think of a better way you could be endangering those close to you too." was she really one to talk about this though? It was not exactly like she personally had not driven people to madness before over the information they learned…
”You don’t understand,” He reasoned, staring at the journal. “This isn’t just because of the people I love, it’s not about them. This is about me. If I leave them out of it- if I do this carefully, I can unlock everything! You know more than anyone of all this wisdom, and…and is it so bad that I want to know as much as I can?” Dipper sighed, shaking his head. “You can’t stop me. The journal, Number 3, was given to me. I’ll get the others too. You’ll see.”
“If you say so, Child. It is not my place to scold you- I am nowhere near your guardian and I leave that job to him or her.” she replied, unconvinced of his skills. She really was unimpressed for the moment, knowing better than to believe that he would get as far as he wanted. She had seen it before- it was just a repeating cycle of pain and torture-- for the humans of course, not her.

"I have every right to hold this, because I am those journals." she replied simply, her tone as calm as could be.
"If anyone does not have a right to this information it is you- my Master is the one who created me, not you."
The pages vanished from view again. “Go look, you’re book will not be there, none of them will- except that false copy that you have. I am them, just a bit more animated then usual.”
She seemed to not even care for his shock or anger.
"Ooooooh-kay….I have to be trippin’ now…Mabel musta put Smile Dip in my coffee again or sumthin’…" Stan muttered to himself, now firmly in grip of a paranoid stupor. Whilst the old man was fully able to believe in whatever paranormal nonsense or evils that Gravity Falls threw at him, to find that the Journals, the one thing in this world he put his trust in more than anything else, were not only (apparently) shams, but the real thing appeared to be a flesh and blood human being…Well. It wasn’t particularly welcome, let’s put it that way.
"Look, I don’t know who you are, where you came from or how the HECK you found out about MY journals, but you’d do kindly to get out of this shack as fast as those legs of yours can carry ya…" Stan growled, snapping from worry and panic back to his standard defence mechanism of anger.
She allowed him to gather his thoughts, or at least pretend that he had done so. The entire time the spirits eyes were focused on him, her expression blank- as if this was pointless or a waste of her time. It really may have been, he did not seem to be believing her at all.
She frowned more when he began getting angry. "Your Journals? I am quite sure you did not write them- they are not yours. Don't claim me so easily." she replied, her tone even. "Or what? You will call the police? Harm me? I'm literally a spiritual embodiment of three books- good luck with that, Sir." she did not mean to be so bitter, but if he wanted to hide behind anger she could do the same exact thing easy.
"Thats exactly it, Child." of course he would figure that out pretty quickly- besides her making it obvious. The Child was really smart, or from what she could perceive he was.
"So, instead of actually reading the book I can just ask you?" He smiled a bit, it wasn’t like he hadn’t read the book a million times yet. Maybe it’d just be easier to ask a person, instead of read a book.

"Have you seen anything dead and floating around here?"

Pacifica’s eye brows pulled together as a look of puzzlement flashed across her features. “Uh…no?”
"Dammit all where did that stupid spector go then!?" she demanded, mostly to herself than to the blonde.

Looking at her was as if he were staring at truth, and it was a veracity he did not want to face. “If there’s another way, by all means, show me- but for now, this is all I can do. And doing this uncovers…it uncovers everything," Even he couldn’t understand what secrets the universe had, but these journals, these triumphs and trials- all of this was leading to something big, he knew that much.

If he wanted me dead, he would take his time-” The realization wasn’t anything superb, but Dipper’s attitude adjusted to the gravity of the situation, Bill was simply biding his time. The boy was too close, and it was becoming a threat. “Look, if I’m not reckless, nothing will get done, and it’ll be like none of this ever happened. I can’t lose everything.”

”There’s always the chance that if I don’t do anything, someone worse might. Gideon, Bill- we’re all playing some game, and if someone is going to win it I want it to be me.”
"That boy is in jail and if Cipher really wanted you dead you would have been dead by now." not exactly true, but he probably did not know that. "You're just being reckless."
