Hello and how’d ya do?

I feel like I should introduce myself before more ranting commences (I’m kidding, no please don’t run away). My name is Charlton (that’s what all my friends call me anyway), I am a 17 year old student at QE High School and am studying Biology, Chemistry and English Lit to A2 Level after dropping German after AS Level. But enough of that, on to the fun stuff that makes me seem like I actually have a life. I am a mad keen footballer and typical Geordie lass which naturally means I support Newcastle United even if they are getting their backsides handed to them. I love running and enjoy free-style rock climbing when I get the time. I play the flute and am Grade 6 ABRSM, I sing really badly and only in the shower, I eat way too many biscuits and drink nothing but water and black coffee. I am a bookworm and a HUGE fandom geek. I am a misfit at school but have a large-ish group of very close friends who I love dearly. I have a cat called Max who is one step off clinically obese because he’s so overweight (Max will probably feature at some point so you’ll get photographic evidence), I LOVE going out with the girls and if given a chance would spend all my free time dancing. I have a very close family although one side is so crazy it’s a wonder we’re not all committed. My favourite colour is green, I love action movies and I can’t sleep in socks. I listen to every type of music from Disclosure and AFI to Frank Sinatra and Biffy Clyro to Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen. I am an avid House MD fan and also belong to the Sherlock, Marvel, Game of Thrones, Divergent, Hunger Games and Skulduggery fandoms. I will never knit again and have never owned a rubber duck and sincerely hope that my madness has not deterred anyone from reading my blog, I’ll behave. I promise. :D
