yes, i’m still looking for that fic i asked about months ago...
but hey i have more details now thanks to a wonderful anon on ao3 :)
So it was kind of a blacklist inspired fic where in Lexa basically lures Clarke(who was on her way on her first day to work with the FBI) to chase her in an alley with an offer for Lexa(a strategic "criminal" with connections--don't really know the crime but may be gang related) to work with the FBI---didn't really explain why she chose Clarke.
Octavia is Clarke's roommate. I think Harper was the receptionist who Clarke was a bit jealous of because Harper Likes Lexa and Lexa occasionally flirted with her. Lincoln was Lexa's personal doctor, chauffeur and etc(kinda like Dembe). Tris is Lexa's sister? Or someone she feels she has to protect but was taken by Emerson/Nia
Clarke has trouble fully trusting Lexa.
Random recollection of random chapters:
1. Lexa almost died in an explosion. She was stepping on a trigger and Raven also worked for the FBI and basically had dragged Clarke out of there against her wishes while Lexa waited for them to get out and basically run like hell.
2. Lexa showed up at Clarke's apt pretty banged up and asked Clarke to call Lincoln
3. I think it was Emerson who tricked Clarke not Nia--or they were in league together. Emerson is some gang leader and essentially played on Clarke's uncertainty of trusting Lexa and general confusion of her feelings for Lexa. Lexa was In a sketchy part of town trying to find Jake's watch for Clarke. Clarke was shown surveillance of that and when she asked Lexa about it, Lexa of course lied. So, when Emerson implied that Lexa was a pedophile obsessed with Tris she didn't know what to believe. Emerson lured Lexa to the warehouse and Tris was there and both were desperately reaching for each other and Clarke who followed Lexa assumed the worst and shot Lexa. She regretted it immediately
4. Lexa and Tris were basically bundled off to some island by Lincoln to recover. Clarke felt bad and though no one explicitly told her she messed up, judge-y looks were sent her way.
5. Lexa comes back, kinda hurt that Clarke doesn't trust her. She gives her Jake's watch and Clarke feels SUPER guilty. Clarke is awkward and unsure on how to go forward. --I think the last chapter was this and there was a small gathering in Clarke's apt. It may have been Thanksgiving or Christmas
