My plan is to employ my potential, rob the graveyard of my God given treasures and disappoint the cemetery... Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. #mypotential #blessedhands #womanwithtalents #virtuouswoman #proverbs31woman (at St. Simons Island, Georgia) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1t5_ofpltt/?igshid=1dm1mwk2aikql
My Path My Potential (Acrostic)
M – my path and journey as a college student has always been associated with
Y – youthful but high expectations of other people.
P – people whom you can entrust that they are really rooting, cheering
A – and giving you hopes that you can be successful no matter how hard your path may be.
T – Those expectations made me ask myself, ‘Am I really that good to reach that so called success easily?” Well, I guess not. Why? Because I have been defeated by my fears and ANXIETY. While
H – hovering the cold air of REALITY, I was taken a back! I failed! I did stop schooling and transferred again to another school. What a waste! It was
M – my biggest mistake so far, I did not withstand the pressures of reality and expectations of other people. Thus, it made me a WEAKLING! With no face to face people.
Y – Yet, Life is indeed full of surprises! Here I am now, Trying and doing my best to fight back my ANXIETY, fears and expectations of other people. All I have to do is to
P – put in mind that diligence,
O – Obedience, determination and patience won’t
T – try to betray you in
E – every single battle of your life!
N – Never ever forget!
T – the lessons of your ups and downs for
I – it will LEAD you in becoming
A – a Stronger person
L – like never before and reach the so called SUCCESS!
Youth organizer, Kim McGill of Youth Justice Coalition, shares her story and urges us to get involved in the fight to end #MassIncarceration: "If you're wondering why you have no parks or playgrounds or clean water, look to the fact that we have the largest jails in the world. This problem is not just our problem. It's everyone's problem." #RevolveImpact #SchoolsNotPrisons #LetsFreeAmerica #MyPotential
