This morning my little angel Tappy passed away. When I adopted her a year and a half ago, I knew she may not be with me for years. After loosing Bebe and Maggie she brought new light to a life that had dimmed. At first she was a little scared of her new surroundings, but it didn’t take her long to become the queen of her new home. She was a senior pup who moved slow, had a big appetite, loved her treats and loved to be lazy. She was always happy to see me when I got home from work and would sometimes get a pep in her step and chase after me. Nicknamed her Tappy Toes for that pep. She seemed to be scared of heights and didn’t want to be held much, but she always kept her eyes on me and wanted to be right next to me. All she had to give was unconditional love and I’m so glad I was able to be a part of her life and be blessed by her love. When they asked me at the humane society why I wanted to adopt such and old dog, I told them because I knew probably no one else would and she deserved a forever home. It’s so hard to adopt senior pups because you just never know what will be, but in the year and seven months she was at home many lives were changed because of the strong spirit that was Tappy. To know her is to love her. I know one day I will see her again, running to me, my sweet Tappy Toes. #rainbowbridge #mypuddies #mypuddy #weallhaveastorytotellsodothey #weallhaveastorytotellandsodothey #adoptasenior #adoptaseniordog #thepuddylife #instapuddies #chihuahua #dogsofinstagram #ilovemydog #royalpuddies #myroyalpuddies #royal_line_of_mypuddies #dogsofroyalty #mypuddies_royal_court #dogstories #kingdomofhome #betheirvoice #rescuedogsofinstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/BtLvNoUBitp/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1a3o1qsreasj1
