As for a friendship/kinship with Y'shtola AND Ardbert, I really have no problem with that. I love this kind of relationship, so I'm very happy to accept it!
As for a romance, whether with one or the other, I never close the door but I tend to like it when it develops as the writing goes on. Just to note that my Y'shtola is demiromantic/demisexual (tends to be asexual) and the same goes for my Ardbert. So it takes them time to fall in love ^^

Armoured and fully cloth, the spirit of Judge Magister Gabranth could not rest no matter how long his spirit had laid there. Though he had been in Archadia gave when he died, he retained his self and personality to freely move around.

Seifer x Sorceress (except Rinoa) I will defend to the death that there was nothing sexual or romantic about the partnership he had with Ultimecia. And it extends to any and all past, present and future sorceresses. Adel, Edea, those Sorceresses that Squall & Company fought while traveling through time compression and all others that are suddenly gifted these powers of Sorcery.
The only exception here is Rinoa because he canonically had strong feelings for her. He can work to look past the witch and see Rinoa is still there.
I don’t understand how we, as a fandom, can continue to play FFVIII in our adult years and seriously think that Seifer discussing his ‘romantic dream’ implied there would be anything romantic between him and a Sorceress.
Seifer x Zell I’ve got 99 reasons why I don’t like this ship. And I mean absolutely no disrespect to those who do enjoy this ship but it’s just not for me.
My perception of the game interprets that Seifer resents Zell for whatever reasons that weren’t revealed other than the fact that Seifer gets his kicks getting under Zell’s skin and making him mad. That isn’t love. That isn’t romance. That isn’t some tropey cop-out of ‘omg Seifer’s secretly SO gay for Zell!’ No. That’s abusive and malicious. There’s never any hint of a romantic connection between the two.
Just... no.
Seifer x Quistis (Pre/During Game Timeline)I’m all here for the post-game goodness but anything before or during just doesn’t add up to canon. Quistis never implied that she was romantically interested in Seifer and Seifer's focus was on becoming SeeD. Period.

Seifer is a former prince twice removed from the safety of his family and people and now obligated to serve under the King his late father once swore were their enemies. Seifer x Ardyn Kevin ruined this one for me. (And I’m not sorry for it.) But honestly, I can’t see Ardyn as anything else but an ‘uncle’ figure for my muse.
Seifer x CorJust based on my verse and the fact Seifer is a betraying Glaive, I just can’t see Cor having romantic feelings for Seifer and vice versa.
