All of the main characters of a web comic I’m working on! I needed to get all of their designs figured out in my style, especially since the third and the last aren’t mine. I think I’ve completely beat my same face issue too!

With an equally emotional and electrifying style of rock & roll, Jamie Clarke, best known by his stagename Myrle, is quickly blazing his path to the top. Based near Toronto, Ontario, Myrle’s music has been favorably compared to the legendary Steve Earle and Tom Waits – in addition to being called “Bruce Springsteen with a new set of spark plugs” by the Ottawa Citizen – all while crafting a modern soulful sound that is entirely his own.

Having written and performed his music for over 15 years, Jamie’s songs are filled with stories of love, loss, hope, and the wisdom that only comes from a man who has seen the deepest intimacies of the world and people around him.  

Myrle is set to release his highly anticipated second full-length album, titled A Dozen Hearts, on October 17. Produced by legendary singer/songwriter Ron Hawkins (The Lowest of the Low, Ron Hawkins & The Do Good Assassins) and featuring none other than Lee “Bolt” Williamson (Walk Off The Earth) on electric guitar, these 11 new tracks deftly showcase Myrle’s continuing growth as an artist while leaving the listener wanting even more.

The album's official release date may be on October 17, but Myrle recently announced that he's selling some advance copies to raise money for a struggling family with a father who needs a heart transplant. 100% of these sales are going to that family. Find out more here.
