Queen Myrrah could have been at least some kind of complex villain if the Locust had had like... any kind of culture at all? Or even any evidence of basic sapience outside of being one track mind bloodthirsty killing machines. We never get any idea what they even do with their time when they're not killing humans besides thinking up new ways to kill humans or torturing the humans they haven't already killed. Like, if we were given literally any reason to think they were a people deserving of anything except extermination it might be actually impactful when Myrrah screams at us that her people "have a right to live." Really? Why do they?

And alright. So. About these two.

Not my place to talk about Lubell's backstory but they have a HUGE common point : They both lost people very dear to them and couldn't rebuild themselves back properly. Lubell became cold and depressed, hating herself at every turn, and Myrrah locked herself up in lies, lies and more lies, stopping people to even go anywhere her heart.

Cue to their encounter in Byleth's house. Immediatly there was something, a spark of some sorts, probably fed by memories : Both of them had a shared characteristic with the other's past lover. As for Lubell she began slowly to get out of that ice fortress, but Myrrah was in total denial, trying to get attention just to feel something

Useless to say it backfired. That overly self-destructive, frank and cocky demon girl basically went through every barrier Myrrah had built without even being aware of it. Accepting the attempt to seduction, not leaving Myrrah at her most vulnerable, and accepting the most buried part of herself, her link with the Truth's gift : her third eye. And on the other side, Myrrah was a big help making Lubell understand than dying for her loved ones isn't the solution, and sacrifice only brings more suffering.

So yeah. Their story is a story of learning to accept yourself, and love yourself, and understand that you have limitless possibilities behind the acceptance stage of grief. They love each other so much throught the curse of immortality high-ranked demons are under.

Myrrah considers Lubell as the one who brought her her freedom. And all things considered, she indeed freed her from her cage of lies and grief.

In the series of "Hel forgor" here have THIS

Myrrah's third eye design.

Her third eye works independently of the other two. It serves more as a layer of sorts, like if both your eyes allow you to see in 3D easily, Myrrah can see in 4 or 5D or smth-

Since it's an approach of true sight, she has partial perception. Aura detection, lie detection and corruption detection are her three current abilities, and she has an easier time perceiving emotions or murderous intent (esp since her lover's death).

But since it works independently, that eye fixiates itself on the person with the most secrets and keeping only this one open doesn't allow Myrrah to see at all. She uses that fact to sleep with the eye open but can't control it completely, thus why it's unfocused here

All the throuple loves to read (even though Rag has a tendency to forget about his own book to see what Lubell is enjoying so much) but Myrrah loves reading even more. Esp erotica. Her ex's erotica.

So uh. When she's in a silly goofy mood it's not uncommon she picks up the last book of Desire's Bible (which is exactly what you think it is) she got and read it with a straight face until she gets to a part very... Idea-giving.

Not gonna get in absolute details about her preferences but it often includes ropes, handcuffs, threesomes, bratting and men getting pegged. Myrrah is the ultimate switch-

I tried to experiment with my sketch style and IbisPaint's aquarel brush for that drawing, it turned out pretty well actually, I think I'm goint to use this more for little fanarts not needing any real technique

Now for the story time :

Myrrah and Ragnvindr met arount the second scenario of the whole egg-destruction campaign we did that summer. They were both captured by a sort-of cult and forced to participate in a tournament to the death to get back the artefact the cult has stolen.

Myrrah is a demon and Rag is an angel, and a paladin for his kind. Excommuniated by the Apostles, but still a paladin. So he only felt distrust towards her at first.

Problem ? Myrrah didn't. In him, Myrrah saw a past lover. Paladin too, sharing some physical features, and a lookalike mentality (the innocence being the most noticeable trait).

And considering that past lover, young Light paladin Kaï Denethor, had a lot of history with her and died a painful death in front of a powerless Myrrah... There was a lot to resolve.

So she was immediatly attracted to him while knowing very well this was unfair. To her, him, Kaï, and Lubell who she was already trying to court at the time. A lot of their interactions during the campaign was about understanding this and going past that weight.

They ended up in a QPR after Rag promised her a safe place to heal and grow, ironically echoing the creation of Beleco with Kaï, and he ended up freeing her of her past and giving her a future.

When Myrrah talks about her partners, she often refers to them as her peace, her freedom and her future. Ragnvindr incarnates the most her future.
