Bachelor and Bachelorette Party Destinations Worthy of Your Own Hangover Movie
As wedding season hits its peak in the summer, so too does bachelor and bachelorette party season. Post-The Hangover, it seems everyone has big plans for a last big blowout before the big wedding day. That can make it hard to come up with a party plan to meet everyone’s expectations. Fortunately, a bachelor or bachelorette party (and a wedding, for that matter) can be whatever you want it to be.
Out of ideas? Here are the most searched bachelor and bachelorette party locations on Yahoo.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Of course, when you’re brainstorming bachelor and bachelorette locations, Vegas is still one of the ultimate hot spots — for good reason. Sin City has plenty of places to get in trouble, depending on what you’re looking for, but don’t forget to relax between the late nights out and head to the spa or golf course. For something a little more off-the-beaten-path, try Insert Coin[s] for arcade games or Exotics Racing for some fast driving. If you want everything taken care of, most high-end hotels (like the Palms or Tao Las Vegas) have bachelor and bachelorette packages.
The Big Easy is a tourist party hub during Mardi Gras, but it’s also an ideal spot for any kind of party the rest of the year. Sure, the French Quarter has great food, music, bars, and the occasional street party. Visit Bourbon Street and Frenchman Street, and try the Café du Monde and Pat O’Brien’s (the creator of the hurricane cocktail). But outside that historic section of town, you’ll also find amazing music and old-school drinks at spots like Le Bon Ton Roulé and The Howlin’ Wolf.
