          Daisy tended to stay away from scenes like this, the noise made her under-oxygenated head ache, and her nerves were on edge in such large crowds, but the girls were insistent on celebrating her birthday a week late. But the band was decent, and probably would have been more enjoyable if she weren’t so anxious. When the show was over, Daisy obviously didn’t expect her friends to want to leave the venue right away, of course, but she was clung to her closest friend’s side like a bitch dog, her oxygen tank stuffed in her dainty backpack. She only looked up when she heard an unfamiliar voice speaking to her friends. And okay, it was a cute boy. Shit. Fuck. A cute boy, okay, Daisy felt her heart beat a little faster, because she is a child, and she straightened her posture, smiling gently.

          William didn’t make it a habit to talk to people, knowing himself all too well to get involved with anyone, even little coffee house acquaintances. But Lucy was different (despite the cliché nature of that thought), she gave him that schoolboy crush feeling, and it was as refreshing as it was terrifying. Large black coffee in hand, William’s blue eyes searched the coffee house for Lucy. He needed any excuse to talk to her, really, and the pouring rain outside was helpful. “Hey,” he approaches her carefully, a falsely smug smile on his lips, “Need a ride home??”

bryce had to remind herself to breathe, as she knocked on the hotel door. she had never been of the nervous kind, but the thought that there was only a wall between her and one of her favorite bands was enough to completely fill her stomach with butterflies. and as much as she wanted to throw her underwear at them and make them sign inappropriate parts of her body, she had to remain professional. she was her for business, not pleasure anyway. as the door opened, a smile quickly bloomed on her lips. “hi, i-i’m bryce. bryce easton, from vanity fair. i’m here to do the interview,” she explained, with a seemingly professional facade, although screaming like a complete and utter nuthead on the inside when she managed to catch a glimpse of the band inside the hotel room.
