Sometimes, superstars are found in the hearts of children fighting bigger battles. Meet Vivian. A class one, n a third born in a family of six. Her constant chatter, questions, innocence n giggles warmed my heart! She was in pain I could feel it, her feet all cracked up n sore from the jiggers infestation she could barely walk well but still, even after getting treatment stayed back to crack jokes n lighten the mood for her collegues and us. She followed me everywhere I went with lots of questions n hilarious stories. At some point she even told me my braid was too long she could use it to play 'blada' and that I laugh like 'hanyinya' (a squirrel lol). (I wondered where she heard squirrels laugh). Her spirit is beautiful. I was amazed and in awe of her strength and #Light. I was once again reminded that our world can suck yes, but we are here anyway, and living anyway whether we like it or not, whether we choose to be happy or not; its honestly our OWN attitude n perspective about life that determines what we experience.
