Contests To Win At DJ Social Media
There is a fine line between online promotion and pure spamming of your audiences. Most of us are used to a phenomenon where we buy something from an online store, which prompts us to add our emails to their mailing list. At first, there is no problem here. We receive an email every now and then about new offers and new products that might interest us. Then, at a certain point, the line of sincerity is crossed and we begin receiving emails damn near every day. What is the point of receiving ten different emails a day? That signals me to either unsubscribe from their mailing list or to simply add them to my spam folder. The art of advertising comes down to knowing how to not upset the customers. DJs and music artists can literally be the worst group of offenders, especially on Facebook and Twitter. If they post nothing else except advertisements that flood your page, what separates them from a regular plain vanilla spammer? I will end up doing the same thing I do with my email spammers and simply label them as a petty business who doesn’t really know how to reach out to their audiences. http://www.djtechtools.com/2013/06/26/dj-social-media-3-the-media-contests/
