Two text posts in a row! Sorry. But Althea (wikipedia--brown) tagged me, and when Althea says "Jump" I say "HECK YEAH!" (That's the saying, right?)
1. I am currently sitting in my office. It's 9 AM and all my work is done. My job is so boring that I start off every Monday by counting down the hours until Friday when I can leave. I used to just count down every 8-hour work day, but that didn't feel satisfying enough. Currently, I have 14.5 more hours 'til the weekend.
2. I miss my old job at the library. I started volunteering, and then got a job there in 2012. I had been in a kind of crappy place mentally for a while before that, but working there turned out to be probably one of the best and most fulfilling things that I've ever done. I made some great friends and it helped me realize what I value in life in lots of different ways.
3. I graduated college in 2013 with degrees in sociology and small business. I want to open up my own shop someday. Maybe it'll be a pie shop, maybe a wine bar, maybe something else! Whatever it is, it's gonna be great and you should all visit. I'll give you the friend discount of 1% off for every year we've known each other (I just made that up).
4. I want to move to the Seattle/Tacoma area next summer. I am really hoping this will happen because if not I'll stay in Arizona forever and die. I'm super nervous though. What if I hate it???
5. I have four siblings who are very important to me. I've always loved them, but recently it's struck me how weird it is to learn how to be friends with your siblings as adults. No more punching each other and tattling to mom. They are my best friends, and having good relationships with each of them is so important to me that sometimes it scares me.
6. I recently started taking dance again. I'm so out of shape, it's ridiculous. I love dance, though.
7. My older brother is going to Europe in a few months and a friend of mine is going to Japan soon. I'm just over here saving all my money to buy a house next year. SO FUN. I sometimes wonder if I'm doing the right thing.
8. When I was 11 years old I was in love with Elijah Wood, so I cut out this 2''X4'' picture of him and stuck it on some cardboard and carried it to school so I could show my friends who were also in love with him. Basically, I was a weirdo.
9. I really really want to host a murder mystery party. I actually want to host a lot of parties. I'm not good at them, though. I need a few more friends and a lot of $$$$ then maybe my parties will be better.
10. Uhhhh. Oh man. I don't know! Ok, I just bought a bright blue Wii (I know, welcome to 2007) and I'm really excited. I'm gonna do wii fit and play Mario and it's gonna be great! I like having a job that makes money.
