When I think of another human being living one day without hope, it hits me hard. It forces me to remember the times in my life when I experienced hopelessness and extreme suffering, it hurts deeply. It’s an extremely dark place to find ourselves, it’s scary, and it’s vulnerably dangerous. We must have hope. Hope is the beginning of everything. Its the beginning of each new day. And hope is also the beginning of all change. If we want to see change in our lives, we need to be conscious of the possibility of change before we pursue it, this is hope in action.
