లంకలో ఏడు అడ్డంకులతో కట్టిన రావణుని కోట! అద్భుతమైన పురాతన సాంకేతికత శ్రీలంకలో కనుగొనబడింది!

Hey guys, ఈ రోజు మనం శ్రీలంకలో ఉన్న సిగిరియా అనే ఈ పెద్ద బండరాయి గురించి చూడబోతున్నాము. ఈ బండరాయి పైన, archeologistsలు కూడా explain చేయలేని చాలా మర్మమైన పురాతన కట్టడాల శిధిలాలు ఇక్కడ ఉన్నాయి. పాతకాలపు స్థపతిలు ఎలా ఇలాంటి అద్భుతమైన structureలను 660 ఎత్తులో ఉన్న ఈ బండరాయిపై ఎక్కి కట్టారు? అన్నిటికంటే ముఖ్యమైన ప్రశ్న ఏంటంటే ఎవరైనా గాని ఇలాంటి structureలను ఎవ్వరు రాలేని placeలో ఎందుకు కట్టాలి? అసలు ఇలాంటి placeని choose చేయాల్సిన కారణం ఏంటి? ఈ మారుమూల ప్రాంతానికి ఎవ్వరురాని ఈ placeని choose చేసారంటే, అక్కడ ఏవో కొన్ని రహస్యమైన పనులు చేసుంటారు. 

 దీన్ని ఎవరు కట్టారో గాని, ఎవ్వరు అంత సులభంగా ఇక్కడికి ఎక్కి రాకూడదని ఇంకా ఇక్కడ  జరుగుతున్నది ఎవరికి తెలియకూడదని ఇలా కట్టారు. ముందు వీడియోలో ఈ బండరాయి పైన ఏంముందని చూసాము. ఇప్పుడు ఈ వీడియోలో శత్రువులు ఈ రాయి పైకి ఎక్కి రాకుండా మన స్థపతిలు సృష్టించిన ఏడు అడ్డంకులను చూడబోతున్నాము. ఇప్పుడు మనకు  సిగిరియా అంటే ఈ పెద్ద బండరాయి గుర్తుకొస్తుంది కానీ నిజానికి ఈ పురాతన complex మొత్తాన్ని సిగిరియా అంటారు. ఇక్కడ defense కోసం చాలా అడ్డంకులను వాళ్లు create చేసారు. మనం first ఈ సిగిరియా లోపలికి enter అయిన వెంటనే మన కంటికి కనిపించేది ఈ water gardens ఎహ్. Actually ఇది ఒక welcoming place లాగ చూడడానికి చాలా అందంగా ఉంది కదా అందుకే archeologistsలు దీనికి water gardens అని పేరు పెట్టారు.

 కానీ నిజానికి ఈ మొత్తం structureని అనుమతి లేకుండా వచ్చే శత్రువులను చంపడానికి దీన్ని కట్టారు. మీరు ఇప్పుడు ఈ  పాతకాలపు సిగిరియా యొక్క mapని చూస్తే అందులో అన్ని వైపులా నీళ్లు పారుతున్న కాలువ ఈ రాయిని cover చేసి ఉంది, చూడడానికి ఇది చుట్టువైపులా  నీళ్లు ఉన్న ఒక కోట లాగ ఉంది, ఇక్కడ మీరు చూస్తున్న blue color అంతా నీళ్ళే. In fact, ఈ రోజు మనం  సిగిరియా లోపలికి వెళ్లాలనుకుంటే నీటి కాలువ పైన ఉన్న ఈ bridge మీదే వెళ్ళాలి. అది మాత్రమే కాకుండా ఇక్కడ ఇంకొక defense ఉంది, ఈ నీళ్ల చుట్టూ అడ్డుగా ఇటుకులతో ఒక పెద్ద గోడను కట్టారు. Actually ఏడు అడ్డంకులలో ఇదే మొదటి defense. సిగిరియని మీరు ఆకాశం నుండి చూస్తే, ఒక పెద్ద compound గోడ మీకు తెలుస్తుంది. ఈ పెద్ద అడ్డుగోడను వాళ్లు తమ protection కోసం కట్టారు. 

నేను ఇప్పుడు ఈ గోడ గురించి ఏం చెప్పలేను ఎందుకంటే నేను దీని గురించి fullగా research చేయలేదు. ఇప్పుడు మనం మళ్లీ ఈ Water gardensకి వెళ్దాం. దీన్ని కేవలం నీళ్లతోనే చాలా cleverగా చాలా complexగా చేసిన ఒక పురాతన hydraulic system. ఈ water gardensని మనం అనుకున్న timeకి నీళ్లతో నింపవచ్చు, ఈ రోజు కూడా ఇప్పట్లో ఉన్న systemతో ఈ placeని fullగా వరదలు పారే విధంగా చేసి ఇక్కడికి ఎవ్వరు రాకుండా ఆపగలము. మీరు సిగిరియా complex లోపలికి enter అయేటప్పుడు చాలా tankలు, ఇటుకులతో కట్టిన గోడలు, ఇంకా విచిత్రంగా కట్టిన structuresలను చూడవచ్చు, ఇవన్నీ ఏ అర్ధంలేకుండా  randomగా కట్టిన structuresలాగ ఉన్నాయి. కానీ నేను ఈ రాయి పైకి వెళ్లి పైనుండి చూసినప్పుడు ఒక shock అయిన విషయం తెలుస్తుంది. ఈ place మొత్తం ఒక circuit board లాగ ఉంది. 

ఇది దేవుళ్ళు సృష్టించిన ఒక circuit boardలాగ కనిపిస్తుంది. ఇక్కడ మొత్తం నాలుగు tankలు ఉన్నాయి, మనం నడవడానికి ఉన్న దారికి రెండువైపులా అటువైపు రెండు ఇటువైపు రెండు అని నాలుగు tankలు ఉన్నాయి. ఇంకా నాలుగు వైపులా నీటి fountains అంటే నాలుగు నీటి బుగ్గలు ఉన్నాయి, వీటిని కూడా రెండు వైపులా equalగ కట్టారు. ఈ నీటి fountainలు ఇప్పటి వరుకు కూడా బాగా work అవుతున్నాయి. ఇంకా ఈ నీటి fountainలు ఆ నీటి కాలువతో connect అయ్యి ఉన్నాయి. భూమి యొక్క gravity, water pressure ఈ principlesతో నీళ్లను ఆ నీటి కాలువ నుండి ఈ నీటి fountainలకు పంపుతున్నారు. అది కూడా underground కాలువల ద్వారా పంపుతున్నారు. అప్పుడు ఈ నీటి fountainల నుండి నీళ్లు వచ్చి ఈ tankలు fullగా fill అవుతుంది. 

ఈ tankల కింద ఒకదానికొకటి connect అయి ఉన్నాయి కాబట్టి ఈ నాలుగు tank లలో నీళ్లు సమానంగా ఉంటుంది. ఈ పాము లాంటి structure కూడా నీళ్ల యొక్క movementని control చేయడానికి దీన్ని వంకరగా చేసారు. ఇందులో నీళ్లు నేరుగా వెళ్ళను కుదర్దు. ఆదిమాత్రమే కాదు ఇలా వంకరగా ఉండడం వల్ల ఒక్కొక palceలో నీళ్లు వేగంగా పారుతుంది. ఇక్కడున్నవన్నీ ఒకదానికొకటి ఎలా connect అయ్యాయో చుడండి. ఇది water gardens అనే చిన్న భాగమే. ఇదే ఇలా ఉందంటే, ఈ మొత్తం structure ఇంకెంత complexగా ఉంటుందో కొంచం imagine చేసుకోండి. ఇప్పుడు మన పాతకాలపు స్తపతిలు ఈ place మొత్తాన్ని ఎలా జలపాతమయంగా చేసారు? ఈ సిగిరియా complex చుట్టూ చాలా పెద్ద పెద్ద చెరువులు, కొలనులు ఉన్నాయి. 

అవన్నీ చాలా పెద్ద స్థాయిలో ఉన్నాయి. ఇక్కడ నుండి south వైపు చూస్తే వావా అనే ఒక కొలను ఉంది. దీన్ని Artificialగానే చేసారు. ఈ కొలను ఆ నీటి కాలువతో, tankలలో ఉన్న నీటి fountainలతో connect అయి ఉంది.  నీళ్లు అవసరమైనప్పుడు దాన్ని open చేసుకోవచ్చు. దానితో నీటి కాలువ యొక్క water levelని increase చేయవచ్చు, సిగిరియాని కూడా జలపాతంగా మార్చవచ్చు.
