You were done. So done. You had been dating Billy for almost a full year and it had not been without hardships. His relationship between him and his father had always led to him acting out and being hard to understand but you had thought moving in together would help him. It was almost like things had only gotten worse. He drank constantly, he would randomly become angry and distant. You could have gotten past all of it but when you came home to find him with another girl in your bed, you were done.
"Baby, Baby, please?" Billy begged as you began packing a bag, his mystery woman quickly putting her clothes on behind you.
"Please, what?!" You hollered as you ripped your bag back from his grasp.
"I can fix this," he whimpered and shook his head. He stood before you in nothing but his jeans that he had quickly pulled on and hadn't bothered to button or zip.
"No, you actually can't this time," you argued as you continued to throw things in your bag.
"But," Billy whimpered and tried grabbing the bag back from you again. "We're meant for each other."
"Then who the fuck is that?!" You screamed, pointing at the woman who darted out of the bedroom.
"She's no one! You're the only one I want to wake up next to," he tried to pull the bag from your grasp again.
"You sure have a funny way of showing it!" You snapped and pulled the bag back again, getting the rest of your clothes in it that you would need for now. You headed across the hall to the bathroom and Billy quickly followed.
"You can't leave me," he brokenly whimpered, picking at your stoned heart. "You always got me."
"I'm not doing this, Billy," you said, holding onto your resolve. "I put up with your nightmares even when you hit me or try to choke me in my sleep. Your constant mood swings where you're happy one minute and mad at me the next. I put up with your being jealous and suspicious of everything I do and everywhere I go. And now to come home to this! Go fuck yourself!"
"I'll do better. I can do better," he pleaded as he followed you down the hall. He saw you going to the door and quickly got in front of you, holding your arms as he dropped to his knees. "Please, baby. I love you. I love you so much," he cried and buried his face against your stomach. "Please?!"
Your eyes watered and you clamped them shut, cursing yourself. "Billy get off me," you tried and pushed at his shoulder softly. "Let me go!"
"No! You'll leave me," he cried and looked up at you. "I'll do whatever you want. I'll fix us. Please just tell me what you want me to do?"
"I want you to let me go," you said quietly after a moment. Billy whimpered in a pained manner before he pulled his arms from around you. "I loved you, Billy. I loved you so damn much and you just let it all go," you told him, explaining how you were feeling. "I want you out by Monday. I'm going to stay with my parents," you said after a moment, no longer able to stand his sobbing that was tearing you apart.
"Where am I supposed to go?" He sniffled and looked up at you.
"Maybe you can ask the girl you were fucking if she needs a roommate," you countered before walking around him, doing your best to hold onto your anger so you wouldn't break and give in to him.
"Please don't walk out that door?" Billy begged as his heart shattered to pieces in his chest.
You stopped at the threshold, knowing this moment would determine how the rest of your life would go. You hung your head as your eyes watered up and your chest ached with Billy's pain and your own. "Goodbye, Billy," you muttered before closing the door in time to block his loud sob.

You returned to the house on Monday and debated going in upon seeing Billy's Camaro was still parked in the drive. You sighed before putting your car in park and getting out, you knew you were technically early. You hoped he was almost done packing and that you could avoid him until he left. You walked up to the door and walked in, glancing around a bit. Boxes were half packed around the living room, Billy's items appeared tossed in without much care or thought.
You quietly walked down the hall to the bedroom to find a box on the bed. Your eyes flared and you sniffled a little as one of Billy's denim jackets sat on top of the box. You reached out and gently ran your fingers over the material, having touched the jacket many times but you realized this could very well be the last. You looked away from it before you turned, seeing the light on in the bathroom and hearing the shower running. You slowly walked up to the door and rested your hand against it, trying to hear Billy in the room.
There was silence for a bit and you scrunched up your eyes. "Billy? Are you okay in there?" You asked, clearing your throat a little. "Billy? Can you hear me?" You asked when he didn't respond. "Bil-?" You were interrupted as you looked down, seeing water running out from under the door. "Billy?!" You hollered and violently shook the handle on the door, banging your shoulder against it. "Billy!" You screamed again before you backed up and kicked the door. You were glad it was cheap and gave on the third kick.
Your eyes landed on the tub and Billy laid in it, seeming to float in the water. A bottle of pills spilled over the floor and the water running over the sides. "Billy!" You tried as you quickly came over to the tub, stepping into it and hoisting his face out of the water. "Why are you doing this?" You whimpered to him as you held him against your chest and leaned back to unplug the tub, trying to drain it. You managed to fit your fingers into his mouth and pushed them to the back of his throat, wiggling them there. "Please, baby? Please?" You whimpered and when your fingers didn't work you felt for his pulse, finding a weak one. You jumped out of the tub and ran drenched through the house before getting the phone and calling for help.
You returned to the bathroom and knocked almost everything out of the medicine cupboard that was over the sink before finding the bottle you were looking for, Ipecac.
You crawled back into the tub with Billy, barely noticing the water still showering down on you both as you forced his mouth open and tipped the bottle into his mouth once you got off the cap. You held him to you while you waited and sobbed. You prayed he would wake up and you begged him to, hoping that in some way he would hear you.
When you had given up and rested your head down against his drenched hair you felt him tense before hearing a loud gag. A warm, thick substance covered your chest and you looked down to see Billy was throwing up the pills.
"That's it, baby. That's it," you quietly cooed and brushed back his hair, smiling in maddened relief. He groaned in a miserable tone before he weakly sat up and fell back on the tub. His eyes looked dazed as he stared at you, the water running over you both.
"Did I die?" He asked, seeming confused. "Is this my heaven?"
You sadly smiled at him and shook your head. "Billy you're going to be okay. The ambulance is coming," you explained.
He seemed stressed at this news and looked over, eyeing the pills that were scattered across the floor, wet from where the tub had run over. "You weren't supposed to be here til later."
"Well, it's a good thing I got here when I did. Billy, you could have died," you tried to explain, stressing the last word.
"What do you think i was trying to do?!" He asked, making you frown. "I can't move back in with my dad. I won't," he whimpered and you frowned.
"Billy, you could have told me. I can find somewhere else to stay," you offered.
"I don't fucking want that either. I just want-," he said before looking down, his eyes watering. "I just want you back." You looked down when his eyes came up, searching for yours. "I know I'm an asshole and complete shit to put up with but I love you," he tried. "I haven't loved anyone like I love you since my mom and it-," he cut off and shook his head.
You glanced back up to Billy now, he had never mentioned his mother or anything overly detailed about his childhood. He had always told you it wasn't your business and you had left it alone.
"It scares me. But the last thing I want is for you to leave me like she did," he whimpered and looked down, closing his eyes as they burned with tears. "I just need one more chance."
You frowned a little at him before you slowly crawled forward and rested your head on his chest, laying against his side. "You never told me about your mom," you said quietly and felt his arm wrap around your waist weakly. "What was she like?"
Billy was quiet for a few moments before a small smile came to his face. "She was a lot like you. She believed in me when no one did. She always loved me. She was really pretty," he said, his voice breaking down to a whisper on the last word.
"Well, wherever she is. I'm sure she misses you and she raised an amazing son," you told him, making him close his eyes and cry harder. He pulled you close to him and placed a kiss in your hair as you heard the sound of distant sirens.

Billy was allowed to come home after being under observation all night. You had stayed with him and watched him sleep, not leaving his side. When he was discharged, you were waiting outside in your car. You gave him a smile as he got in and you pulled away from the hospital.
"So I was thinking," you told him as you kept your eyes on the road. "About everything you said and everything that has happened." You saw Billy look at you out of the corner of your eye. You stopped at an intersection and let the other cars go. "Billy Hargrove you get one more chance to turn things around and if-," you couldn't even finish your sentence before his arms were around you, hugging you tight.
"Yes. Whatever it is, yes. I'll do anything," he told you as he kept his hold on you. "Thank you, baby."
You looked at him when he finally pulled back a little before pressing a small kiss to his lips, making him smile. "I love you."
"I love you too, baby. So damn much," Billy whispered, making you smile. He leaned in to kiss you again before the car behind you honked since you'd been sitting at the intersection for too long. "Fuck 'em," Billy said with a smile before his hand slipped onto the back of your neck and he pulled you into another kiss, bringing a smile to your lips.

You sat perched in Billy’s lap as you glanced around the party, it was the usual crowd and the usual party, you were bored. You tipped the half empty cup in your hand back and forth with a small sigh before sipping it. You felt a gentle nudge against your thigh before a squeeze and looked down to see Billy looking at you with his eyebrows raised.
“You could at least act like you want to be here,” he mumbled against your ear. His warm breath ran over your skin and you closed your eyes for a moment.
“Well, you know what I wanted to do tonight,” you retorted before taking another sip from your cup and shrugging. “But you’d rather be here getting your ego stroked by all your fans.” You felt another squeeze on your thigh but a little harder this time and rolled your eyes.
“Are you giving me an attitude right now?” Billy hissed in your ear and your back tensed in a pleasant way.
“Are you going to do something about it?” You challenged with a little smirk before you went to take another sip of your drink. Billy grabbed your wrist and stopped you from taking your sip and you looked at him.
“Are you testing me?” He asked and his tone made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
“So what if I am? What are you gonna do about it?” You asked and looked down at him, your whole stare daring him to do something.
“Get up and go to my car. I’ll be there in a minute,” Billy said with a stern voice that made you shake a little. You went to say something but he pinched your thigh again. “I didn’t say talk,” Billy snapped in your ear and grabbed your cup from your hand. “Go,” he hissed.
You got up from the couch and turned, leaving from the living room and trying to avoid anyone you knew on the way out. You managed to get to Billy’s car and dared to climb into the backseat. You shifted on the seat so that you could slide your panties down over your legs. Once you had them off you sat them in the driver's seat and slipped down in the seat, relaxing a bit and kicking off your heels.
About an hour passed and you did your best not to grow irritated with Billy. You looked around in his backseat until you found a bottle of whisky crammed under the passenger side. You unscrewed the lid and tipped it back, sipping from the bottle until the burning became too much and you put the cover back on.
Another hour went by and you were laid across the backseat, the now empty bottle of whisky was discarded on the floor. You heard the drivers side door creak open and shifted a bit. “Look who finally showed up,” you said before giggling drunkenly. “You done getting your ass kissed?” You went to lean forward in your seat but Billy hit the gas and slammed you back in the seat. “Ass!”
“I can’t believe you came out here and got drunk,” Billy snapped and glanced back at you in his rearview mirror.
“I can’t believe you left me waiting for two hours to get fucked,” you said bluntly. You leaned forward in the seat a bit and saw Billy had your panties in his pocket, you smirked a little. “Don’t you know I’ve been out here waiting for your dick,” you mumbled in his ear before you gently nibbled on his earlobe.
Billy’s resolve started to diminish a little and he let his eyes slip shut to enjoy your burning mouth on his skin. He couldn’t wait any longer and when he got to a wooded area he pulled over onto the side of the road. “I can’t believe your fucking mouth.” Billy pulled you into the front seat with him and you straddled him happily. He watched your head fall back and you seemed to sigh just from the friction. “Jesus, babe. How fucking horny are you?” He asked before laughing a little. Billy softened his dominant demeanor a little, seeing how drunk you were. He never liked to do anything forceful with you when you were too drunk. He made a note to punish you properly another night.
You smiled at him and went to speak before a light shined on your face. You and Billy both squinted before turning your heads and seeing a bright light shining out of a passenger side window.
“You ain’t doing it here, kids,” you heard the voice of Officer Callahan and smirked.
“Hey, Phil! Hey, Calvin!” You cheered and leaned out the window with a smile and wave.
“(Y/N), you know it’s Officer Callahan and Officer Powell,” the voice droned. “Billy, take your girl home please?”
You snorted before you lifted off Billy and crawled back into the backseat. Billy held up his hand to block your backside when you skirt rode up as you got into the back and forced a smile as he shook his head, glancing over to the two cops. “You all have a great night,” Billy said as you giggled in the back. The light clicked off and they pulled away, letting Billy pull back out. “You do realize you just let two cops see your ass, right?” Billy said, glancing at you in the rearview mirror again.
“Maybe we could have Phil join us? Little threesome?” Billy glanced back upon hearing your words only to see you with a teasing face and smiled, looking away from you.
“No. Phil isn’t joining us,” Billy said. “Are your parents at home?”
Billy looked back to see you nod mindlessly. You had tipped your head back and your hand slipped between your legs before you let out a soft sigh. “Hey, wait for me!” He said before nudging your foot that was on his armrest. “Where can we go?”
You climbed back up into the passenger seat and looked around a little with a sigh. “Is your dad home?” Billy nodded and you nibbled at your lip. “Just find somewhere to park,” you suggested before you crawled over him a little.
“What are you doing?” Billy asked before he felt you undo his belt and messily unbutton his pants and pull down the zip. “Are you seriously going to-? Okay, yep,” Billy breathed when your burning mouth found its place on his dick. “Shit,” he hissed before he let one hand fall from the steering wheel to rest on the back of your head. He felt you gag on him a bit and held your mouth down on him for a moment, letting his eyes slip shut and a moan slip from his lips.
Billy had all he could do to keep his eyes on the road and his hand on the wheel. He wanted to grab your head in his hands and guide you over his dick. You were doing a good enough job of making him come undone but he wanted to make you pay for your attitude at the party. He gripped your hair tight in his fist and lifted you from his dick. He bit his lip as he saw your face come up, your eyes blown with lust and you mouth still parted. He looked at your lips all slick with spit and felt himself pulse against his own stomach. “You’re fucking gorgeous,” he breathed before he pulled your mouth to his and kissed you hard.
“Ah-ah-ah,” you said and pulled back, making Billy frown at you. “You better watch the road,” you whispered as you leaned over, placing your mouth beside his ear. “Keep driving,” you whispered before you straddled him and slid your skirt up to your waist.
“Baby,” Billy said with almost a warning tone but you continued sliding down onto his dick with a sigh. Billy’s own head tipped back before he breathed out with a throaty moan. “Fuck,” he ripped out from his throat. He heard gravel under his tires and opened his eyes again, getting his car back on the road.
“You’re being so fucking, bad,” Billy mumbled against your neck as you started grinding on him. He brought one hand down from the wheel to rest on your ass, gripping it firmly in his hand before he slapped it roughly.
You moaned at his hand on you and started bouncing a little harder. “You’re dick feels so fucking good,” you hissed and mouthed at his neck. You had wanted Billy all day and finally having him inside of you was driving you to the edge quickly.
Billy found his eyes on the road but his mind somewhere completely different. He groaned when you started hitting the perfect rhythm and panted a little with his head rested back on his headrest. “That’s it, baby,” he hissed and honestly couldn’t believe what was happening. You had always been wild but this had been your craziest move yet. Billy found a little smirk on his face as he thought about it and placed a sloppy kiss on the side of your head as your face was still buried in his neck.
“I’m so fucking close,” you whined and your voice was high and breathy and it left Billy’s head light. “Are you close, baby?” You asked before pulling back and looking into his eyes, your hips still rolling and bouncing at the perfect pace.
Billy looked into your eyes for a moment before he moved his free hand to the back of your head and pulled you into a heated, messy kiss. You moaned against Billy’s needy mouth and when he pulled back you went right back to the perfect motion. You heard Billy’s car revving and picking up speed as you neared your high. The sound of his car, the smell of him and the moans spilling from his mouth made your whole body tense.
You felt Billy’s hand on your lower back, moving with the motion of your rolling hips. “You’re so fucking hot,” Billy grit out before you felt him press up into you a bit, his car revving up with each buck of his hips. Billy realized you didn’t notice or you didn’t care. You were wrapped up in your orgasm that hit you suddenly and Billy watched you beautifully arch and whine his name, pushing him beyond his own point. “Fuck!” He grunted hard and his mouth fell open in a silent moan as he rolled his hips up into you, easing through the rest of his peak.
Billy panted for a moment as you were collapsed against him, your head rested on his shoulder and your hot breath hitting the side of his neck. He kept his hand on your lower back, holding you against him for a moment. He couldn’t help himself as he leaned over and placed a kiss against your hair. He breathed out heavily through his nose and slowly rested his foot on the break, bringing down his speed.
“You’re fucking nuts,” he told you after a moment as you lifted your head with a content smile on your features.
You hummed an agreeing sound before carefully easing off Billy and getting into the passenger seat. You gently cleaned off his dick with your mouth before fixing him in his pants. He glanced over to see you crawling into the backseat again. You laid lazily over the seat and Billy felt cold suddenly without your body close to him. It was only a second later that he felt your hand sneak up beside his seat and rest against his side. He smiled a little before bringing his hand up to rest on yours.
“I guess you have to go home?” You said hazily after a few minutes, seeing that Billy was heading back towards town.
“Yeah, my dad told me he wanted me back tonight,” Billy said with a sigh. He frowned and glanced into the rearview, hoping you wouldn’t look mad. Your expression only made him feel worse though as he saw the disappointment in your eyes. “But I can come pick you up in the morning? Go get some breakfast or something?” Billy tried.
“Yeah,” you said quietly before you dug around in the back, finding your shoes. Billy felt a tightness in his chest as you still seemed disappointed. Your happy personality had diminished and you just seemed down.
“I’m sorry, babe,” he said after a moment, making you look up. He saw you glance to the side of his face and your expression softened a little.
“I’m not mad at you, babe,” you told him before wrapping your arms around his shoulders and resting your chin on his seat. “I’ll just miss you tonight when I fall asleep,” you explained, making a small smile come to Billy’s face. “All alone,” you breathed against his ear. “Naked,” you added, making one of Billy’s eyebrows quirk up. “Horny,” you whispered and couldn’t help the grin on your face when Billy cleared his throat and shifted in his seat.
“You’re not very fair to me,” he tried as he glanced a little to the side, looking at you over his shoulder.
“You know I get an attitude when I don’t get to fall asleep with you,” you said with a small smile.
“Oh, yeah? Why’s that?” Billy asked as he checked the street before pulling onto your road.
“Because then I don’t get to fall asleep on your chest. Where I can feel all warm because you’re basically a furnace. Where you wrap your arm around my waist and kiss my forehead right before you fall asleep. Then you mumble your sleepy, ‘Sweet dreams, baby’ and I remember Billy Hargrove is the only man who can give me butterflies,” you whispered.
Billy had parked in front of your house and sat staring forward for a moment before turning in his seat to look at you. “You really think about all that?” He asked sincerely and you nodded, making a sweet smile appear on his lips. “You’re going to be the death of me,” he mumbled before he leaned in and pressed a kiss to your lips.
“Especially if we keep fucking in your car like tonight,” you said before giggling and he shook his head at you with a smile. You leaned back and set the passenger seat forward before opening the door. “Goodnight, Billy,” you said with this cute little smile that left Billy gazing at you. You leaned over and kissed him once more, breaking his daze.
“Sweet dreams, baby,” he said when you had closed the passenger side door and pressed the seat back, looking through the rolled down, window at him.
“Tell Neil I said, ‘Hey,’” you joked and he rolled his eyes at you. You swayed your way up your driveway until you got to the door. Billy watched you bend over to get the spare key under you doormat, flashing your backside to him. Billy smirked at you when you turned around and winked at him before going in.
Billy sighed quietly with a small smile on his lips as he turned back in his seat. “I’m gonna marry that damn girl.” He shifted his Camaro and took off down the road, revving the engine just loud enough for you to hear it.

You stood outside of Tina's house as people kept going by you, entering the party. You were trying to work up the nerve to go in and also trying to figure out if it was worth it. You knew your boyfriend would most definitely be inside but you didn't know if you could face him and if you did, did you want to do it at a party that everyone from school was at?
You had told Billy that you loved him on your last date and he had stared at you with this odd face before he screamed at you to get out of his car. You had done as he said and expected him to call you when he calmed down but he didn't. He had avoided you all week and never picked you up for the party. So here you were, trying to decide if you should even bother trying to talk to him. The only thing keeping you from just giving it up was that you really did love him.
"(Y/N)?" You jumped upon hearing your name, being awakened from your thoughts and turned to see who owned the voice.
"Oh. Hi Steve," you said with a small smile and awkwardly swayed a little in your spot.
"You going in?" He asked, taking his hand from his jeans pocket to motion towards the door.
"I uh… I'm not sure yet," you confessed before sighing a little and running a hand through your hair. "Trying to get up the nerve."
Steve gave a small smile as he looked a little confused by your statement but shrugged. "You want some company?"
"Steve?" You asked suddenly, turning to fully face him now.
"Yeah," he asked with a small smile at you, seeing how distracted you seemed.
"Have you ever told someone you loved them and had them ignore you for a week?" You asked, rambling it all out.
Steve's eyebrows quirked together a little and he smiled before shaking his head. "No but I did fall for someone who was in love with somebody else."
"Oh, yeah," you said and pursed your lips a little. "I'm sorry. Stupid question."
"Nah, don't worry about it," Steve said genuinely with a shrug. "It's better this way. Who wants to be with someone that doesn't want you, you know?"
Steve's sentence sunk in and you nodded a little. "You're right. Thank you, Steve," you said with a small smile at him.
"Anytime," he told you. He stepped up onto the porch and motioned to the door. "You ready?" You nodded and sighed a little, shaking your nerves away visibly. He opened the door for you and you went in. "Good luck," Steve told you before he gave you a reassuring smile and wave before heading off towards the kitchen.
The party was in full swing at this point, being almost ten at night, people were pretty drunk. You swayed a little as you made your way through the many kids from your school. You found Carol and smiled at her but it fell when you saw how pale her face went upon seeing you.
"Hey! Have you seen Billy?" You asked over the loud music.
She kind of made a face at you before sighing a bit. She pointed her finger to the stairs. "I am not getting in this fight. I said nothing."
"Thanks, Carol," you said quietly as your heart fell into your stomach. You made your way back through the people until you got to the stairs and went up.
When you reached the top you swallowed a little, your eyes already watering. You stomped down the hallway, finally finding your nerve. You came to the door with Billy's leather jacket hanging on the knob and knew he was in there. He had done the same thing with you on multiple occasions. You ripped the jacket from the knob before you threw the door open hard enough for it to bang against something behind it.
"Who the fuck?!" Billy shouted as he rolled off a girl who screamed and covered herself. His eyes took a second to adjust to the light but when they did, you saw his face pale and his jaw go slack. "This isn't what it looks like!"
"Oh, screw you, Billy!" You shouted before throwing his jacket at him. He caught it before it hit his face and stood up, holding the blanket to his waist as he tried walking up to you. "We're done. Least I have the fucking balls to say it to your face! Have a great night!"
"Would you just wait a minute!?" Billy tried grabbing for your arm but you pulled away and went down the stairs. You quickly made your way through the party and Steve spotted you.
"Excuse me. Excuse me. Sorry," he kept muttering as he quickly moved through the groups of people. "Hey," he said, just managing to make it to the door as you did. "Are you okay?" He asked, he felt stupid as you hung your head and cried. "Aw, shit," he said before sighing a little. "Come on. I'll take you home," he said before putting an arm around you and guiding you out of the house.
"You don't have to. You just got here," you reasoned and shook your head. "I can walk," you assured.
“Don’t be ridiculous,” Steve said and shook his head. “I’m not making you walk home alone at night.” You reached his car and he opened the door for you, letting you get in.
He started the car and got himself out of the tight parking spot, heading in the direction of your house. “You still live over by Hopper’s?” Steve asked, forgetting the name of your road. You nodded your head weakly and sniffled, stuck in your own misery. Steve frowned a little but looked back to the road for a moment. “Do you want to grab some drinks from my parents house and go somewhere to talk?” He offered. Steve knew what type of situation you were currently in. One of your best friends was supposed to be Carol but she would not risk getting in Billy’s path because of your fight. He knew you were probably feeling pretty isolated and alone with everything happening.
You started to shake your head before you really thought about it. You knew your parents would be home and you had lied and said you were going to a friends house for the night so you could sleep with Billy and party until you wanted. If you came home early and crying, your mother would grill you and you just weren’t ready to tell her everything yet. “Sure,” you said with a small nod. “I’d like that.”
Steve gave his own nod and a small smile. “Good. Alright.”

“She took off with Harrington,” Tommy explained for the third time. “She showed up looking for you. She came in with him and when she left he was with her. I’m sure he just wanted to make sure she was alright. Take her home or some shit,” Tommy reasoned.
“Fucking prick,” Billy muttered and bitterly sipped a beer.
“I wouldn’t really call Harrington the prick in this scenario,” Tommy said. Carol hit Tommy’s arm and widened her eyes a little at him. She didn’t want her boyfriend getting into it with Billy. She knew Tommy was good at fighting but she had a feeling Billy could win.
“The fuck did you just say?” Billy asked, glaring at Tommy. He slammed his beer down on the table and squared his shoulders, drawing the attention of a few people nearby.
“Harrington isn’t a prick for bringing (Y/N) home after she found you upstairs with someone else,” Tommy said back, still staying relaxed in his position while Billy tensed up. “That’s all I’m saying. Plus, you didn’t want her anyways, obviously. Perhaps Harrington is just jumping at the chance. One man’s trash is another man's treasure, so they say,” Tommy said before sipping his beer. The look he was giving Billy showed he was taking him down a peg but he kept his tone light and his words careful.
Billy glared at Tommy before he turned and ripped his beer from the counter, heading towards the door. He slammed the door shut on his way out, leaving everyone looking at Tommy. Half of them wondered if he was crazy, while the other half approved of it. You had never been anything but good to Billy and you were a well liked person by most, no one had wanted to see you both end up together because they knew this would probably be the outcome. They were glad Tommy was brave enough to say something.
Billy got out into his Camaro and decided he would drive to your house and hope to find you. He had slept with that girl and thought it wouldn’t bother him but part way through it, he realized it felt wrong. He didn’t want this random girl under him, kissing him, he wanted you. It had been an awakening moment for Billy but before he could end it, you had come in and his whole world had fallen apart. Now you were off with Steve Harrington if you weren’t at home. Billy just focused on the road and told himself that you had gone home.

“I told him I loved him and he just yells at me!” You exclaimed and the liquid in your can sloshed about as you slung your arm. “Tells me to get out of his car and throws the damn door open like he would just push me out,” you said before shaking your head. “Like I told him I slept with someone else or something but oh no! That’s what he does! Ignores me for a week and then goes and sleeps with someone else.” You sat still for a moment before groaning and laying back onto the blanket Steve had laid out for you both to sit on. He had found you a quiet spot near your house to sit and drink. Having pulled his car off the road when he saw a little clearing.
“Maybe he was scared,” Steve offered and sipped his own drink. He knew at this point you were both a little tipsy and figured he had to be if he was trying to defend Billy. “Like, maybe no one has ever said that to him,” he elaborated as he decided to lay down beside you, thinking it looked comfier.
“Why do I pick guys that don’t like to be loved?” You asked as you looked up at the starry night sky.
“I don’t think it’s that he doesn’t like it. I just think he doesn’t know how to feel about it,” Steve suggest and glanced over to you. “He likes you. I mean that’s obvious. You’re the only girl he’s dated for longer than a night,” he reasoned.
“Well then maybe there’s something wrong with me?” You shrugged and leaned up a bit to sip your drink.
“There is nothing wrong with you,” Steve assured before he leaned up as well to sip his drink and then smiled at you. You were relatively close to Steve and after breathing him in you realized how good he smelt.
Your mind was swirling with alcohol as you looked into Steve’s brown eyes and you found yourself leaning a bit closer. Steve’s eyes flickered down to your lips and a tiny smirk played on his own. His nose bumped yours a little and suddenly you felt yourself being pulled back by the arm. You shrieked for a second before you looked up and saw Billy.
“What the hell are you doing?!” You asked as he dragged you to your feet. Steve had quickly hopped up from his spot and looked to you.
Billy was breathing heavily and pacing now, looking between you and Steve. “You didn’t let me explain!” He roared and walked towards you with his eyes dark with anger. Steve gently grabbed your wrist and pulled you behind him. “Don’t fucking touch her!”
“Billy, just calm down,” Steve tried and held his hand out. “Nothing is happening. We were just talking. You can still explain. She was just upset,” he reasoned.
“You tell me you love me and then you’re out here with him! How am I supposed to believe you?!” Billy hollered, pointing at you over Steve’s shoulder.
“Billy, I told you that I loved you and you screamed in my face and nearly threw me out of your car!” You retorted. “Then I find you sleeping with some other girl! Don’t act like you’re in any place to question me!”
“Can we just calm down!?” Steve shouted as Billy started screaming back at you. “Both of you just need to take a step back. This isn’t going to go anywhere with you both this mad! Just go home, take the night to calm down and talk this out in the morning! You’re just going to kill each other!”
“Billy won’t want to talk about it tomorrow. He’ll be sober and just act like nothing matters and he has no feelings.” You were responding to Steve but your eyes glared into Billy’s dangerously dark ones.
Billy paused his pacing and locked eyes with you, making Steve nervous as he seemed to square up almost. “You don’t think I have feelings!?” Billy roared and Steve felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.
“You don’t listen! I said, ‘you act like you have no feelings’,” you said with a sigh and looked down.
“Why would I be here if I didn’t care?!” He asked you and you glanced up to him, your madness fading a little as your eyes watered from all the yelling and stirring emotions. Billy started stalking towards you and you held your ground, keeping your head up, as Billy stepped around Steve. He grabbed your shoulders tightly and shook you a little. “How can you be so blind!?”
“Are you fucking kidding me, Billy?!” You hollered and shoved him back a little from you, breaking his grip on your arms. Steve stood close behind you, scared this would become too heated. He knew you were both drunk, very hurt and obviously upset. This was not a good time for you to both be trying to work out your problems. “I’m blind?!” You shoved him back again when he tried grabbing for you, only for him to grab your wrists and hold them down from shoving him.
“Don’t you see I fucking love you, you damn brat!? You always have to have it your way! Right now! You never give me time to figure out anything! You want an answer at the drop of a hat! I don’t work that way! I need fucking time!” He snapped at you, leaving you stunned and Steve’s eyes were also widened behind you.
“But you go and sleep with someone else,” you whimpered as your voice broke and Billy’s grip on your wrists weakened a little as his head slipped down. “Not enough to break my heart but you have to stomp on it too?”
“I’m not doing this here,” Billy said after he looked up and saw Steve trying to awkwardly stare off at the sky.
“You need to do this! We need to do this!” You hollered and stomped your foot. “You don’t get to just walk away and dream up some bullshit!”
“What I was just talking about! It’s always right now with you! I am too drunk to do this! I cannot say what I’m feeling without fucking this up! Cut me some goddamn slack!” He hollered back as he got in your face and Steve saw it, he knew you two were destined to work everything out or screw it all up in a huge explosion of anger, because you didn’t even flinch. You stared into Billy’s face unphased as he violently motioned beside your head.
“Well fine, you can tell your side later but I’m not too drunk to tell you what I’m feeling,” you muttered and Billy licked his bottom lip and leaned back from you a little, watching you carefully.
“(Y/N),” Steve warned and rested a hand on your arm. “You are tired and angry. Do not do this,” he whispered quietly to you, drawing your eyes away from Billy. You looked into Steve’s brown eyes and saw his sincerity. He shook his head softly, warning you not to do it and your face crumbled before you hung your head and whimpered. Steve quietly shushed you before he wrapped an arm around your shoulders. “I’ll take her home,” Steve quietly told Billy as you kept your head down and cried as you walked with Steve.
Billy nodded and turned to watch you both disappearing into the darkness, heading back towards the road where Steve was parked. “Fuck!” Billy hollered before he bent down and picked a beer up from the ground, throwing it against a nearby tree and splitting the can that sprayed foam. He dropped down onto the discarded blanket and wrapped his arms around his knees, shaking his head at himself. “Fucking idiot.”

You woke up with your head throbbing as there was a knocking sound echoing through your house. “What the fuck?” You grumbled hazily as you rolled over in your bed. “What the fuck?!” You said more aware now as you saw Steve standing shirtless beside your bed.
He held his hand out and tried to calm you. “Nothing happened! Nothing happened! We just fell asleep! You didn’t want to be alone!”
“(Y/N)?” You heard Billy’s voice from down the hall and sat up quickly in your bed, looking to Steve in a panic. Your bedroom door swung open and Billy looked to you holding the blankets up to your chest while Steve stood by your bed, his shirt in hand.
“Billy, this isn’t what it looks like!” You said quickly and when he turned to go back down the hall you jumped out of your bed and followed him. “Please, stop! Let me explain!” You begged and grabbed onto his arm.
Billy grabbed you by your waist and threw you up over his shoulder, going for the door. “Put me down!” You argued as Billy brought you outside to his car and put you in the passenger seat. You quickly glanced around the driveway to see that your parents must have left for work because both of their cars were missing. You saw Steve in the doorway of your house, looking at you in a concerned way.
“Billy?” You asked quietly as he got into the car and slammed it into reverse, spitting gravel as he flung out of your driveway. You yelped a little from the jump of the vehicle and held on as he quickly shifted it into drive. “Billy? Where are we going?”
Billy was glaring forward and you felt your throat grow dry as he didn’t answer you. You rubbed your eyes a little, having just woken up and pulled your legs up into your seat, hugging them. You normally weren’t nervous about Billy’s temper. Yes he screamed and hollered and sometimes threw things but he had never hurt you. You just were worried this would be Billy’s breaking point, the end of his patience with you.
He pulled down a dirt road and when it got heavily wooded he stopped and got out of the car, slamming his door shut. “Billy, I’m sorry,” you whimpered when he ripped open your door and grabbed your arm. You only got out when you realized his grip wasn’t painful and he lead you to the front of the car before he grabbed your hips and put you on his hood. He then placed a hand on either side of you and put his face in yours.
“Talk,” Billy said, looking at you as he seemed to sigh out through his nose, trying to calm down.
“Nothing happened between me and Steve, Billy. I swear to God,” you said with a frown. Your memory had come back to you in the car and you remembered asking Steve to stay but nothing else had happened.
“You promise me? Do you fucking swear?” Billy asked and his anger got the better of him for a second and he lifted his hand and smashed it down on the hood. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” He said when you flinched a little. “Please don’t flinch, baby. I’m not going to hurt you,” he said and you saw a hint of sadness in his eyes.
“I promise, Billy. I swear,” you whimpered. You sniffled softly as your eyes watered up and you hung your head a little. No longer being intoxicated didn’t make you as resistant to Billy. You didn’t want to say hurtful things and fight him. You just wished you could forget about finding him with another girl but you couldn’t.
“You-” Billy paused and looked down. His flat hands balling into fists by your sides as he still leaned on the car. “You scared me,” he said quietly and continued to look down, not meeting your gaze. “You can’t just drop something like loving me out of nowhere. It-,” he stopped and sighed a little. “It made me freak out,” he said before looking up at you.
You frowned and kept your gaze down as you could feel his eyes studying your face. “I’m sorry, Billy.”
“See, you shouldn’t have to be sorry! What the fuck is so wrong with me that you telling me that you love me makes me act like this?!” He said bitterly but he seemed to be directing it at himself. “Why can’t I love you like I’m supposed to?” He nearly whimpered before turning away from you a little, taking a few steps off the path and staring off into the trees. “It took me sleeping with someone else and fucking all this up to realize that I do.”
You slowly slipped off of his hood and came up behind him, wrapping your arms around his waist and resting your head against his back. “I love you, Billy,” you whispered quietly. You felt his body tense and it felt like he was trying to get away from your sweet words and hold for a moment until he relaxed.
“I love you too,” he said so quietly it was barely heard. You felt his hand come up and rest on top of yours that were clasped in front of him. “I just need you to give me some time,” he said before turning his head a little, looking back over his shoulder at you. “Can you do that?”
You nodded softly and snuggled your face against the back of his shoulder. “Whatever you need, babe.” You kept close to Billy until he slowly turned and rested an arm on your waist and looked into your eyes. You softly tilted your head, inquiring on his stare.
“I’m sorry that I hurt you,” Billy confessed and shook his head a little as he looked down. You gently reached your hands up to rest on his neck and feel his warm skin. “Sleeping with that girl was stupid,” he muttered.
“I’m sorry I got so mad and that I was so hateful last night,” you told him and he looked at you again. “I also have to confess, I think I asked Steve to stay the night to get back at you,” you admitted with a frown. “Nothing happened but I did it to hurt you and that was wrong.”
“You were drunk,” Billy conceded with a small sigh. “Plus you were upset. It’s okay,” he said quietly. There was a pause between you both for a moment before Billy leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to your lips.
“Do you still think I’m a brat?” You dared to tease with a small smile when Billy broke the kiss, his forehead gently resting on yours.
He smiled and pulled back a bit, shaking his head at you. “Yes, you’re always going to be a brat. My brat,” he told you with a sweet smile before placing another kiss on your lips. “Come on. I’ll take you home,” Billy said after a few moments of peace with you. “I’m sure Harrington has already called the police.”
“I’m sure he’s sitting at home on my step, waiting for you to bring me back,” you admitted with a small laugh. “Poor Steve. He always gets dragged into everything.”
Billy nodded his response as you both got into his car and he backed down the path towards the road. He had his arm thrown over the back of your seat so he could look over his shoulder as he went and you watched him. You couldn’t help but take in his beautiful blue eyes as they glanced around, the tone muscles of his chest as he leaned himself back and the way his soft curls fell against his skin.
“What?” Billy finally asked when he got to the road and had turned back in his seat, seeing your stare.
You shook your head a little and looked down with a small blush. “Nothing,” you said with a small shrug.
Billy gave you a small smile as he glanced over to you in his passenger seat. “I love you too,” he said, responding to the thought weighing on your mind. You lifted your head a bit and smiled at him before you leaned over and rested your hand on his thigh and your head on his arm. You felt him place a soft kiss in your hair and your smile grew. “Brat,” you heard Billy whispered and you playfully shoved his arm, making him laugh quietly before you pressed a kiss to his mouth.

You sat quietly on the couch as you barely paid attention to the flickering TV screen. Your eyes kept darting to the clock that hung on the wall above it, seeing the hours and minutes slip by. You sighed quietly as it was after one in the morning and slowly got up from the couch. “Come on, Billy,” you muttered to yourself as you walked up and switched off the TV.
You made your way into the kitchen and poured around in the fridge, trying to find something to eat. You weren’t hungry but were hoping that it would satisfy your boredom. You heard a bang in the other room and stood up from the fridge with a sigh. You knew this was going to be your night, long before the loud bang of the front door but it didn’t make it any easier. You slowly came out of the kitchen to see Billy had actually fallen to the floor on his way into the house.
“You’ve been drinking tonight, haven’t you?” You weren’t sure why you were bothering to ask Billy the question you already knew and had the answer for. Billy usually came home trashed any night he showed up this late and if that wasn’t enough evidence, there was a heavy smell of stale beer in the air.
“What the hell do you think!?” Billy harped and swatted at you when you reached for him. “Asking stupid fucking questions,” he mumbled to himself and you sucked your bottom lip into your mouth upon hearing his words.
Billy hadn’t always been so mean to you, which only made nights like these hurt worse. Your relationship with Billy had started back in high school, things had been rocky at first but you were both just messing around, not really planning on anything to happen. Then you both stayed together after high school and things were amazing. You were renting a small house together and Billy had changed a lot after you moved in. He had begun to open up more and you could tell that he was more comfortable in your relationship. It had all been perfect until the night Steve had come over to visit. You had always been close with Steve in school and even though him and Billy weren’t friends in any form he still wanted to welcome you both to your new house together. He had brought over a bottle of wine for you both but Billy had been gone with Tommy for the night. You had opened it and shared it with Steve while you both caught up. You had drunkenly given Steve a tour of the house which had ended in the bedroom. You both had laid down on the bed and finished your bottle before curling up and falling asleep while you watched a show on the small TV set you had in the room. Billy had come home and found you both in bed with your hand laying between Steve’s legs. You had heard him kick the door open and both jolted awake with surprise. Billy had taken your surprise as something completely different. He had accused you of having an affair with Steve and you had had to do everything in your power to keep Billy from beating the crap out of him. It didn’t matter how much you apologized or how much you explained that nothing had happened, he still wasn’t the same Billy. He no longer snuggled with you on the couch and watched Miami Vice anymore. He didn’t come home after work for dinner and kiss you while you cooked. Everything had changed and it felt like nothing would ever be the same again.
“You need sleep,” you said as you gently rested a hand on Billy’s back, trying to help him up again.
“Yeah, no shit,” he mumbled and stood up finally, he violently jerked his shoulder away from your touch and looked at you with underlying anger in his eyes.
“I pulled the bed down for you,” you quietly told him before you hung your head a bit and looked away. You moved yourself to the kitchen so you wouldn’t be in his path as he went to the bathroom and bedroom.
Billy followed his normal path down the hall, going into the bathroom to take a leak before he went straight to the bedroom. He saw the glass of water you had placed on his nightstand along with two pills for his aching head. He picked them up before popping them into his mouth and swallowing them down with the water. He kicked off his boots as he finished sipping the glass and laid back in bed. The TV was already on in the room for him and he smiled as he saw they were replaying some episode of Miami Vice that you both had liked. His mouth opened as he almost called for you, wanting you to know it was on but he stopped himself before he laid back.
You situated yourself on the couch after turning the TV back on in the living room, finding Miami Vice was on. You smiled as you remembered seeing it with Billy, him laughing as his arm laid around you. Your smile faded as you looked to the empty couch beside you. You sighed as you thought about how long that side of the couch had been empty for and just shook your head. You knew something was going to have to change, one way or the other.

Billy stumbled home relatively early, he wondered what you were doing tonight. You had been quieter than usual that whole week and even though he wouldn’t say it, it left him unnerved. He was hurt and he feared you were going to leave him for someone else and he would look like a fool. He hadn’t told you any of this because it only made him look weak to you, in his mind. Billy managed to unlock the front door and stopped a little when he finally walked in. He slammed the door hard as he looked at the stack of boxes in the living room.
Fear jumped into Billy’s throat as you weren’t there to ask him how his day was. He took a few steps and noticed there wasn’t a plate of food waiting for him on the counter in the kitchen. A few more steps and he pushed the bathroom door open, seeing if you were in there. He saw your pink toothbrush missing from the cup on the sink that was supposed to be next to his blue one. All your small bottles, trinkets and items were gone and Billy’s heartbeat picked up.
“(Y/N)?!” Billy hollered and tried to ignore how panicked his own voice sounded as he called your name. He reached the bedroom door and threw it open to see you standing beside the bed. You had paused as you saw him come in, a few of your shirts in your hands, hovering over a box. “Going somewhere?” Billy snapped.
“Billy, I’m-I’m sorry,” you tried and looked down for a moment, playing with a button on the shirt in your hand. “I just, I can’t do this anymore,” you said with defeat in your voice, you finally looked back up to him. Billy tried to ignore how saddened and lifeless your eyes were. You had always been so alive and joyful, it had been one of the things to attract him to you. Normally he couldn’t stand happy people, it only reminded him of how miserable he was himself but you were different. Your joy and personality had always seemed to spread to him, had always made him feel like happiness was something he could feel and deserved to feel it.
“What do you mean you can’t do this anymore?!” Billy demanded loudly. He had told himself to stay calm but his voice wasn’t coming out as he had planned. Panic began taking control and Billy stomped towards you before he grabbed your arm. “Where the fuck are you going!?” He hollered and when you tried to pull your arm away Billy yanked it back into his grip.
“Billy you’re hurting me,” you whimpered and tried to pull your arm away again. Billy ripped your arm back and it hurt enough that you whined and he instantly let go of you. You saw the regret in his eyes but out of instinct you flinched when he reached for you again, stopping his motion.
“Where are you going?!” Billy demanded but he felt a stinging in his eyes. He had hurt you, you were leaving him and this was the last thing he ever wanted to happen.
“I’m just,” you looked down again and shrugged. “I’m moving back in with my parents. Until I can figure something else out.”
“Don’t lie to me!” Billy hollered and stepped around the bed, coming up to you.
“Billy, I’m not lying,” you whimpered and let go of the shirts, dropping them into the box. You backed up as Billy came towards you and held your arms up in a weak attempt to block Billy. “Billy, please?” You whined and cowered when your back hit the wall and you were in the corner as he was stomping towards you. Billy raised his hand to grab your shoulder but when you ducked your head and winced against the wall Billy stopped.
“W-What the fuck am I doing?” Billy asked as he looked at his hand raised and you cowering against the wall. He slowly backed up and started breathing hard as he knocked the items from his bureau and fell back, landing on the floor and staring blankly at the rug. “I’m just like my fucking father,” he whimpered and he put his face in his hands. “No wonder you don’t want me,” he whined.
“B-Billy,” you tried and slowly knelt beside him. “You are not your father,” you whispered and frowned at him. “You just,” you hesitated before frowning sadly at him as tears raced down his face. “You need to talk to me,” you begged and your own eyes watered as you saw how much pain he seemed to be in. “You need to trust me.”
“How?” Billy whimpered. “How do I know that nothing happened?! How do I know you weren’t just going to cheat on me?! Leave me!?” He shouted and you fell back a little before sighing and scooting closer to him. You gently rested an arm on his shoulder and were surprised when he didn’t shove you off.
“Billy, nothing happened,” you said and couldn’t help the whining tone in your voice. “I have been sitting here while you have punished me for months for something I never did!” You said, finally finding your footing in the argument. You had never let Billy walkover you until the whole situation with Steve, trying to show your dedication to Billy but now you were done. “I did not cheat on you and I’ve just gotten to the point that I can’t sit here and let you punish me for this! I didn’t do anything and I shouldn’t be treated like shit because of it. So I’m sorry if you can’t get over it but I won’t let you hurt me anymore.”
Billy heard everything you said but he couldn’t bring himself to say anything back or to even look at you. He felt like his whole world was spinning around in circles and he couldn’t get his footing. It stayed like that until you finally sighed and stood up, taking your hand from him. You went over to your box of clothing and picked it up, walking out of the room. Billy found his footing as panic leapt into him and tore out of the room behind you.
“Don’t walk away from me,” he hollered and grabbed your arm, making you drop the box in your hands. You turned to shove Billy away from you and stepped back before you tripped on the box you’d been carrying. Billy saw you falling back and desperately reached for you but he couldn’t grab you in time. Your head banged off the edge of the coffee table in the living room and you hit the floor with a hard thud. “Baby? Baby?!” Billy quickly jumped over the box to land in front of you, kneeling beside you. You didn’t move for a second before you rolled over, your eyes creased with pain as your hand went to the back of your hand. “Baby, I’m so sorry. Are you okay?”
“Ye-Yeah,” you mumbled as you winced more. “What happened?” You tried to sit up before you swayed uncertainly and Billy gently caught you, resting a hand on your back.
“Whoa, whoa,” Billy said quietly to you as he helped you rest back down on the floor. “Let’s take you to the hospital,” he said quickly, nervous with how unfocused you seemed. Billy tapped his pocket to make sure his keys were still there.
“Billy, you’re drunk,” you argued and shook your head, blinking as you tried to get your eyes to focus on the light on the ceiling. “You can’t drive.”
Billy cursed himself as he realized you were right. He would drive recklessly with himself in the car but not with you. He thought quickly as he got up from the floor and went into the kitchen, pulling the phone from the base. He dug around on the counter until he found your small book of phone numbers and leafed through it. He tried your parents first but it was late and no one answered. “Fuck,” he hissed to himself before he stared at the one number he didn’t want to call but he did, swallowing his pride. “Harrington? I need you to get over here quick. (Y/N) needs to go to the hospital. I will explain when you get here, just hurry up.” Billy slammed the phone back down before he came over to you, seeing your eyes were closed. “Hey, stay awake!” He said quickly and nudged you before easing you up a bit, letting you lay back on his legs.
“What’s happening?” You asked, your voice droning out and sounding uneven. “Why am I so dizzy?” You mumbled and your head fell back against Billy’s leg. “Where am I?”
Billy blinked hard as his eyes watered up and he noticed he was rocking as he held you in his arms. “Baby, you’re going to be okay. Steve’s on his way and he’s going to take us to the hospital.”
“Where’s Billy?” You whimpered and your head fell to the side. “I want Billy,” you whined and tried lifting your head before it fell back. Billy saw a clear liquid leaking from your nose and his eyes watered more.
“I’m right here, baby. I’m right here,” he told you and gently rested his nose against your cheek. “Shh,” he breathed when you whimpered.
“Billy?” You whimpered and your word came out slurred and made Billy’s panic rise.
He was about to get up and call the ambulance when there was a banging on the door. He opened it and let Steve come in, who instantly looked to you on the floor and then glanced to Billy. “What the fuck happened?!”
“I-I messed up,” Billy whimpered and pointed to you and then the box and brought his hands up to rest on top of his head. “She was leaving me and we were fighting and I-,” Billy couldn’t even make sense of what had happened. “I grabbed her and I just-,” Billy stopped again and shook his head.
“You fucking bastard!” Steve shouted before he shoved Billy. Billy didn’t put up a fight when Steve punched him, he took the hit and everyone that came after until he fell down the wall in the hallway, blood pouring from his face.
“H-Help her,” Billy whimpered, pointing his now shaking hand at you. “Please, help her?” Spit and blood drained from Billy’s mouth and landed on his white tank top as he begged Steve to bring you to the hospital. “She hit her head. She needs help. This is all my fault. I’m so sorry,” Billy brokenly sobbed and hung his head.
“You’re a fucking monster, Hargrove! You’re trash! She should have never been with you!” Steve hollered before he kicked Billy’s side, making a rough grunt come from Billy who fell against the floor.
Billy laid with his face against the rough carpet of the hallway and sobbed out as Steve’s words hit him. He weakly shifted as he heard Steve trying to talk to you and you didn’t respond. He shifted enough to see Steve picking you up and your limp body hung from his arms, your head dangling off his arm. “Is she okay?” Steve didn’t respond to Billy as he took you towards the door. “Steve, is she okay?!” Billy hollered out as his eyes poured over more. “Steve, please!?” Billy begged and a broken sob left his mouth when Steve kicked the door closed as he left.
__ __
“There she is!” You heard and opened your eyes fully, glancing around the room. “Gave us a little scare,” the man said to you and you realized he was a doctor. “How are you feeling, honey?”
“I-I’m okay,” you said. “My head aches a little but it’s not bad,” you admitted. “Is-Is my boyfriend here?”
“You’ll probably have a small headache for a while but everything seems okay. We can get you some tylenol,” he told you as he came over and took a small light from his pocket. “Can you follow the light?” He asked and held it up, moving it from side to side. You followed it but squinted a bit as your eyes hurt. “Sorry. Lights may bother you for the next few days. You had a concussion but everything seems okay now. You’re going to want to take it easy for the next few days. Bed rest. I’ll let your boyfriend in to see you.”
“Thank you.” You watched the doctor leave and shook your head a little, trying to remember everything that had happened the night before. You couldn’t wait to see Billy so he could fill everything in. You remembered arguing about you leaving but that was it. The door open and you smiled a little before you realized it wasn’t Billy. “Steve? Where’s Billy?”
“Well, nice to see you too,” he said with a small smile before he sat down next to your bed.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it like that,” you said before shaking your head.
“You’re fine. I know,” Steve said honestly before he seemed to look down awkwardly. “What happened last night?”
You racked your mind and pulled everything up, finally getting somewhere. “I was packing my stuff. Things just haven’t been great,” you admitted with a small shrug. “I was walking out of the room with a box and Billy tried to stop me and I fell,” you explained. “I think I tripped on the box.”
“You mean he pushed you?” Steve asked.
“No. I definitely tripped on the box, I remember him trying to catch me,” you recalled as you replayed everything. “But it goes dark from there.”
“Wait,” Steve said and scooted onto the edge of his chair. “He didn’t hurt you?” He asked and motioned to you with his hand.
Steve saw your saddened face as you looked at the scuffed up knuckles on his hand, he pulled it down and covered it with his other. “Steve, what did you do?” You asked, almost not wanting to know.
Steve seemed like he didn’t know what to say before he shook his head and sighed. “He made it sound like he had hurt you! He said he had grabbed you and you were fighting and he messed up!” Steve defended and you could already see the guilt in his eyes. “I thought he had done it! He didn’t stop me!”
“I have to get home,” you said quickly and got up from your bed but Steve stopped you and laid you back down. “I need to check on him Steve!”
“Listen, you can’t leave the hospital for a few days. The doctors need to run more tests,” he reasoned. “If you leave now and something goes wrong you could die or have permanent brain damage. I can go check on him.”
“No,” you said and shook your head. “He won’t want to see you.” You wanted Steve to check on him but you didn’t want things to be any worse. You sat on the bed and tried to figure out what you could do.
“Ma’am?” You looked up to see the doctor enter the room. “You have a visitor,” he told you. “A Billy Hargrove?”
“Yes! Yes, please let him in?” You told the doctor who nodded before leaving the room. “Steve you have to go, please? Come back later?”
Steve nodded, understanding you and Billy probably had a lot to talk about and his presence would not help anything. “I’ll come back this afternoon,” he told you before giving you a small smile and getting up. “I’m sorry about everything.” He admitted sheepishly and a frown covered his face.
“It’s okay, Steve. We’ll work it out,” you told him with a frown. He nodded before he slowly left your room and went down the opposite hallway of the waiting room. You sighed out a little as you watched your door and tried to prepare yourself for what was about to happen.
Your door opened slowly and Billy stepped in, his head hung low and his hands ringing themselves in front of him. He sheepishly looked up to you when the door bumped closed and your eyes stung upon seeing his beaten face. You whimpered his name as your eyes watered up and you held your arms open towards him, begging him to fall into them. He hesitated, swayed away like he shouldn’t before he finally allowed himself to be close to you. His cheek pressed against your chest and he hugged onto you tightly before you heard his cries come from his mouth that tried to stifle the sound.
“I’m sorry, baby. I’m so, so sorry,” he managed through his mangled cries. “I should have never touched you. I should have never yelled or said all those horrible things to you. I’ve treated you so bad,” he whimpered out before shaking his head. “I feel so fucking bad,” he huffed out with his wobbling voice.
“Baby, let me see your face,” you quietly cooed and gently pulled him from your chest. You frowned sadly before you began littering his bruised skin with your soft lips. You had never wanted to see Billy like this again. You had been so happy the day you had helped him move his boxes out of his father's house, out of that prison.
“Why do you love me?” He asked you with a sad face, his expression seeming to have no hope. “I could have killed you.”
“Billy, I tripped. You tried to catch me. Don’t blame yourself just because you were mad and we were arguing,” you reasoned. “You may not always handle things the best way but you have never hurt me.” He gave you a face, his eyebrows raised at you. “Physically,” you corrected.
“I’ve been really shitty to you,” Billy said as he sunk into the chair beside your bed, resting his hands next to you. “I just-,” he sighed and shook his head. “I thought you were going to leave me,” he said quietly, looking down at his hands as he turned the ring on his middle finger. “I thought-,” Billy broke off, shaking his head a little.
“You thought if you treated me like crap you would be in control?” You asked, raising your eyebrows at him a little. Billy wanted to be mad at you for acting like you understood him but you did. He nodded his head a little, that was really it. He didn’t want to feel like you had power over him to break him, to hurt him. “Why did you let Steve mess you up?” You asked with a frown, seeing how swollen his eye was.
“I felt like I deserved it,” he quietly admitted. “Everything I've done to you the last few months led to last night. If I hadn’t been such a prick you wouldn’t have been leaving and we wouldn’t have fought,” he explained.
You shook your head but gave him the smallest smile. “No one is harder on you than you,” you told him, making him look up. “I love you but you need to stop being so mean to yourself. Yes, you had no right to be as mean you were to me the last few months but that doesn’t make you responsible for me getting hurt.”
“Can I still fix it?” Billy asked, going back to toying with his ring, a nervous habit he had. You had noticed it early on in your relationship with him. Any serious discussion, any time he admitted how he felt, he played with it. Slowly turning it from side to side on his middle finger, looking at it. “Fix us?”
You really thought about Billy’s words, taking in all the pros and all the cons. Thinking about all the nights you had spent feeling horrible, feeling unloved but also about all the nights that you had spent feeling like you were on top of the world only because Billy Hargrove called you his. “I’m not going to say that everything is going to go back to normal,” you told him and he frowned before nodding. “But I’m willing to give you another chance. I won’t move out but you really have to try, Billy,” you explained honestly.
“I will, I swear,” he told you quickly when you gave him the smallest bit of hope. “I’ll stop coming home late and getting drunk. I swear, I’ll never treat you like that again,” he told you, taking your hand in his.
“Okay, Billy,” you said, giving him a little smile and really hoping he meant it.

You set yourself down at the dinner table and glanced at the empty spot across from you. It was your first day home from the hospital, you had felt fine upon getting home with Billy. He had left for work and you had spent the day unpacking your stuff and making dinner when it got to be later.
Your stomach began to feel heavy as the clock continued to tick on the wall. It was only the first day and you were beginning to think everything was right back to where it had been. You looked down a little and your eyes began to sting, you had bought into it, you had thought everything was going to go back to being perfect. You were standing up from the table when the door banged open.
“I’m here! I’m sorry!” Billy said as he came through the door in the living room. He glanced up to you, seeing you about to walk away from the table where you had prepared dinner for you both. He noticed the shine in your eyes and came over to you, placing a gentle hand on your waist. “How was your day, baby? You still feeling, okay?” He pressed a soft kiss to your lips and a smile slowly came to your face.
“Yeah, I feel great,” you told him before you wrapped your arms around his shoulders and pressed another kiss to his mouth. “Better now.”
“Dinner smells great,” he told you with a smile as you pulled away. You both sunk down into your seats and you stared at Billy as he sat across from you, he smiled at you. “You good, baby?”
“Just happy you’re home,” you confessed, feeling like maybe things were going to go back to normal. It made you happier than you had been in months.
“You want to watch Miami Vice tonight?” Billy asked as he grabbed some chicken from the platter in front of him. “It’s supposed to be a great episode. Watch it on the couch?”
You smiled at him brightly and nodded. “Sounds perfect.” He smiled back at you before taking a bite of his dinner and for the first time in months, you felt completely happy.

Bill found himself standing outside your bedroom window. To say he had been a little distant from you that week would be an understatement but Billy still didn’t understand, he didn’t know what was happening. He didn’t want anything to happen to you but as things became more confusing and scarier, he seeked the solace only you could ever bring him. He nervously knocked on your window, trying to brush his disheveled hair from his face. He looked like crap, he knew he did. He hadn’t been sleeping, he couldn’t focus on anything and his overall appearance was suffering the consequences.
Your lamp came on in your room before he saw your shadow make its way to the window. You gave him a small smile before you pushed it open and the second your scent reached him he had to close his eyes and allow himself to enjoy it. “Hey, stranger,” you said sweetly before you leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. This moment was it, this was the reason Billy sought you out, had chased you for months before getting a date and knew deep down he loved you more than he would ever allow himself to say. No matter what he did or what happened, everything with you was easy and so relaxed. You weren’t screaming at him for being distant, you weren’t asking why he looked like shit at your window in the middle of the night. You had simply missed him and the air of your soft presence nearly made him want to cry into your kiss.
You pulled away and your eyes shone in the moonlight, a soft smile on your face as you appeared to be adoring him. “You wanna come inside?” You asked him as you rested your forearms on the windowsill, your chin propped on your wrist. “I missed you.”
Billy nodded weakly before he managed to get himself up into your room. He wrapped you tightly in his arms, your soft sleeping shirt feeling amazing under his hands. “You have no idea how much I want you right now.” He breathed, making a pleasant hum come from you as his mouth was close to your ear.
“I’ve been right here,” you told him quietly as you pulled back to look him in the eye with a smile. You hesitated for a second as you stared into his eyes, something almost seeming different, darker. “Billy, are you okay?” You questioned, your tone concerned. You took in your boyfriends slightly disheveled appearance and frowned. “Did something happen?”
“I don’t want to talk about it,” Billy mumbled before he pressed his mouth to yours. You gave into him, letting your arms drape over his shoulders, pulling him close. “I’ve missed you too, baby. So bad,” he nearly whimpered against your mouth. You weren’t sure what had gotten into Billy but you knew sometimes just letting him have his way with you helped. He would often lay against you after and talk to you about everything he was thinking, feeling. He would explain what was making him upset.
You pushed Billy’s jacket off his arms and ran your hands over his chest that laid beneath his black, cut off sleeve tank top that looked faded from being in the sun. You both managed to lay back in your bed, his hands pushing up your thighs, making you breathe in a little more than normal. Your eyes slipped shut as his mouth worked over your neck and he slid up your night shirt.
This is what Billy had been searching for, a distraction. A perfect, beautiful distraction to get his mind caught up in. Your gentle hands on him made him feel like he was okay, like he could fix all the wrong he had done in the last few days that he’d been walking around in a haze. He ran his hands up your sides and placed a gentle kiss against your navel before he froze, stopped. The tingling sensation ran up his neck and his mind instantly clouded. He shook his head to try and stop it. “No,” he whimpered. “Not now. Not her.”
“Billy?” You asked with concern and leaned up a little, placing a soft hand against his hair as he nearly appeared to be shaking. “Are you okay?”
He looked up to you, his eyes appearing to water as he looked pained. “He’s hurting me,” he whimpered before dropping his head with a sob and then whine.
“Billy, sh,” you said gently, glad your parents were gone for the weekend to the lake house. Your father would have already come crashing into the room. “I won’t let anyone hurt you, you’re safe with me,” you assured before running a hand through his hair. “Baby, look at me,” you cooed.
Billy raised his head to look into your eyes and you saw how dilated his looked. He screamed in pain and you jumped a little, surprised by it. “Run,” he whimpered and you felt so confused. “Run!” He hollered, his voice sounding dark and you jumped from the sudden change. You quickly scrambled from the bed. You were confused but when you heard Billy jump up from the bed a scream came from you as you ripped open your bedroom door and tore down the hall, him right on your heels.
“Billy! Baby, please, what is happening?” You whimpered as he nearly caught you in the kitchen, the island between you both. He lunged for you and you stepped back further, pulling your arm away. You looked into Billy’s eyes and fright overtook you. You didn’t know what it was but you knew, this was not your boyfriend, this wasn’t Billy. You had stared into those eyes at some of their darkest moments and they never looked as haunting or as distant as they did now.
Billy jumped onto the island, growing impatient with this game and you ran through the house for your front door. You slammed against it as your hands fumbled to unlock it before you felt a painful grasp on the back of your neck. Your mouth hung open in a silent scream as your head was pulled back and you looked at Billy’s angered face. “Baby, I’m sorry. Please?” You tried before you felt him readjust his grip. “Billy!” You screamed before he smashed your face against your door. You went limp as your consciousness faded, only being aware long enough to feel Bill firmly pull you into his arms.
__ __
You were awake, at least you thought you were but every time you blinked there was nothing but black. As your mind became a little more aware you realized you could hear the sound of a running motor and shifted, whimpering as your head spun. You became aware of the tight rope that bound your wrists together and your ankles. You whimpered again as you tried pushing the gag from your mouth. “Help!” You whined loudly as your voice broke, the sound coming out weakly through the rag tied around your head, keeping you quiet.
You gently closed your eyes and sniffled weakly before realizing a familiar scent, this was Billy’s car or rather, his trunk. You felt around the best you could with your tied hands, trying to find anything. You managed to get your hands on something cold and metal, his crowbar. You wiggled your ankles against the rope before you managed to get the crowbars end against it. You weren’t sure how you managed it but you had loosened the rope around your ankles and pulled them free. You then felt the car hit a dip and the sound of gravel under the tires. Your breathing picked up and you did your best to get yourself situated for when the trunk opened.
The vehicle parked and you heard Billy’s door open before footsteps on the dirt. You gripped the crowbar tightly in your hand and nearly held your breath the whole time you heard him walking to the trunk. The telltale sound of the key sliding into the lock prepared you and when it popped open you swung the crowbar, managing to take Billy by surprise and he groaned before falling back. You whimpered and quickly crawled out of the trunk before you took off running for the road, your wrists still tied together and the gag still in your mouth. You managed to pull the gag down now that you were free and tried to see where you were.
“(Y/N)!” You heard your name sobbed loudly and your steps faltered, making you slow. You turned to see Billy laid on the ground, his head leaning against his cars bumper. He cried brokenly as held his bleeding head.
“B-Billy?” You whimpered, so lost as to what to believe. The voice from before and the whole manner of his being had not been your boyfriend but this was. This was Billy all the way down to the little tremble in his voice. You took two cautious steps back towards him, crowbar swaying in your grip.
"I can't do it, baby. I don't want to do it," he whined and looked down. He shook and clasped his hands together like he was trying to hold them still.
“Billy, listen to me. Just take me home. Please?” You whimpered and slowly took a few more steps towards him. “It’s okay,” you whispered.
Billy’s shaking stopped after a moment and he seemed to straighten up more before his eyes hardened and he looked to you. They were back to their previously dark state and you backed up slowly. “Please, Billy! I don’t know what’s happening but don’t hurt me!” You begged but once he got his footing with his eyes still focused on you, you turned and ran.
You almost reached the road when you felt a sudden jerk on your hands and it flipped you, throwing you to your back with your arms above you head. You groaned and squirmed a bit as your back raced with sharp pains. You glanced up, realizing you had been dragging the rope from your wrists that had been tied to your ankles.
“Billy-Billy, please?” You whimpered before screaming when he roughly grabbed your arm and hoisted you up. “I’m sorry, baby. I’m so sorry,” you rambled as he roughly tugged you back towards his car and kicked the crowbar away. You finally noticed the building he was taking you too. It had been abandoned for quite sometime and was off the regular route through Hawkins.
You tried squirming away but Billy reefed you up into his arms, nearly crushing you against him with his strength. You dissolved into a whimpering, crying mess as confusion ran its course through you. You didn’t know what was happening but you did know whatever was currently holding you wasn’t your boyfriend anymore.
Billy walked you through the dark building and you glanced around before seeing the doorway he was bringing you towards. You figured your fate was as dark as the shadows reaching up from the room below and sniffled quietly. You were giving up, letting your head rest against Billy’s chest before you nuzzled your nose against his neck, searching for any comfort he might bring you. His steps seemed to falter and his arms shook upon your gentle touch. You felt him sway forward before you spilt from his hands.
“No!” Billy strained as he reached for you, trying to keep you from falling but you landed on the hard metal steps. You felt each step bruisingly beat against your body until you fell onto a small landing, your head hanging down towards the next row of steps. Your vision swayed in double as you tried to focus your eyes on the dark room. You saw something large shift in the shadows and tried to sit up.
Billy’s hands were on you but the trembling had ceased and dark eyes looked into yours. “Billy,” your voice weakly said his name as he picked you up, throwing you over his shoulder. “Billy, don’t,” you protested, your voice having lost any of its strength. He laid you down onto the cold cement floor and you shivered a little as your bare thighs touched against it. “Billy,” you weakly tried again and the angry eyes looked into yours but they were wet with tears. “Please don’t do this.”
Billy seemed to shake, like something was boiling inside his chest and he looked down, taking in a huge gasp of air before letting out a shaky breath. “Just hold still. It won’t hurt so bad,” he whimpered and still shook.
You blinked away your tears before your head slowly turned, seeing a large creature making its way out of the darkness. You whimpered brokenly and closed your eyes tight, not wanting to see what was coming for you. There was a pause, a hesitation, a looming silence.
“Please?” Billy whimpered and you turned your head towards him before opening your eyes. You saw Billy was staring at whatever had emerged from the darkness, looking up at it with broken eyes, his voice wrecked in his throat. “I will bring you anyone. Just don’t take her,” he whined before he bent down over you, burying his face against your neck.
You stayed frozen for a moment before you gently leaned your head up, placing a kiss in his hair. “It’s okay, Billy,” you breathed, trying to soothe him. “I love you,” you whispered.
Billy pulled back and looked into your eyes, his pooling with tears as his lips were pursed in a painful frown. “All I ever wanted was you,” he whispered, leaning his forehead to yours. “It was never supposed to be like this. It was going to be me and you, always,” he whimpered before closing his eyes tightly, his tears dripping to mix with yours on your cheeks.
“I won’t leave you, Billy,” you whispered before you reached down with your tied hands and took his hand in yours. You felt Billy’s hand gently untie your wrists and you brought your hands up to gently hold his face as he cried. “It’ll be me and you, always,” you whispered as you saw the shadow looming closer, hanging over you both. Billy placed a gentle kiss against your lips and you felt fresh tears run down both of your faces as he held it for a moment.
The second Billy’s lips parted from yours he was thrown from you. A large, meaty looking arm throwing him across the room. You heard him scream your name after a moment as you looked up at the huge creature before you. You couldn’t find your voice to scream and you had already accepted whatever fate you were going to suffer at its hands. You glanced over to Billy who laid under the stairs, trying to get up but being held down by one of the creatures arms. You gave him the biggest smile you could muster, a saddened, broken one. Billy’s eyes scrunched up and he dropped his head against the cement, sobbing against it. You saw another arm coming towards your face and closed your eyes, falling into the black.

There it was, the dreaded circle in the vial you had gotten from the pregnancy test you’d bought three towns over and still said was for a friend. How could something so little, mean something so earth shattering? You let out a shaky sigh and checked the box for the third time, making sure you were right and you were. You put your face in your hands and let out a shaky breath.
“Fuck,” you whispered and felt yourself beginning to panic. Your mind raced as you tried to make some sort of plan in your head. You'd been sneaking around with your boyfriend Billy Hargrove for over a year. Not because of your parents but because of your brother. Steve did not approve of Billy, they hated each other. Their alpha male personalities did not leave room for understanding on either side.
You jumped when you heard a knock on the door and scrambled to cram all the papers from the pregnancy test back in the box. “Just a minute,” you stuttered out as you dumped the test and flushed the toilet. You crammed the plastic container back into the packaging and hid it in your bathroom bag. You grabbed up the bag and checked the counter one more time before opening the bathroom door.
“Hey,” your brother said when you opened the door. “You alright? Still feeling nauseous?” Steve asked this before placing the back of his hand on your forehead.
“A little. I think I'm gonna lay down,” you said, trying not to look guilty. You didn't like lying to your brother, hiding Billy from him was hard enough. In this moment you were really worried about what Steve would say when you told him. You knew your parents were going to be livid but you partly feared that Steve would never talk to you again.
“Alright. You need anything? Water or something?” He asked, stepping out of your way.
“No, thanks. I'm fine,” you reassured before shooting him a small smile. “Night, Steve. Love you,” you said, sending him a small smile.
“Love you, too. Night, sis,” he said before going into the bathroom.
You quickly went into your room and shut the door, locking it. You grabbed the pregnancy test box out of your bathroom bag and crammed it into your backpack. You knew you'd have to throw it away at some point outside of the house.
You sat on the bed with a sigh and looked up at your ceiling, cursing the heavens. One broken condom, one slip up and you were pregnant with Billy's baby. You laid back on the bed and hugged your stomach a little. You were scared beyond belief. You'd only been with Billy for a year and sure he had a job and you had briefly mentioned getting a place together but you weren't ready for a baby. Part of you feared him running off but you didn't think he would, you prayed he wouldn't.
You knew you had to tell Steve but you felt Billy needed to know first. He was the father after all, it only felt right. You hid your face in your hands and cursed, everything was about to become a mess.

“Doll, you have been quiet all day. What's eating you?” Billy finally asked after he took you to lunch and you barely said a word. “Did you talk to Steve? About us? About us getting a place?”
“Stop the car,” you breathed as a wave of nausea hit you. Billy turned his head to you, having not heard what you said. “Stop the car!”
Billy stopped as quick as he could and pulled over to the side of the road. “Babe!” Billy hollered when you quickly got out. “Babe, what's wrong?” Billy asked as he got out but saw you bent over in the treeline, throwing up.
You were grateful you were no longer in town so no one was seeing you at this moment. You were on a mostly dead back road. You felt Billy's hand on your back and when you stood back up and wiped at your mouth he held his soda from the diner out to you. You took it and sipped it, grateful to get the taste out of your mouth.
“Are you alright?” Billy asked, looking concerned.
You sighed and looked at him, deciding now was as good a time as any. “I'm pregnant, Billy,” you said quietly, not able to look at him.
There was a long pause and you kept your gaze down before finally looking at him. His eyes were wide and he seemed to be thinking. You were scared he was gonna leave, that he would get into his car and just leave you beside the road.
“Oh, babe,” he said before he covered his mouth with his hands. “Are you alright? Why didn't you tell me sooner?” He asked before he hugged you.
You closed your eyes in relief and latched onto Billy, so happy that he was holding you right now. “I was scared,” you admitted.
Billy pulled away from you and gently took your face in his hands. “Doll, when I said I'm here for you that wasn't just a line.”
“I know but everything with Steve and sneaking around,” you explained before sighing. “You're dad's going to be so mad,” you cried before hiding your face in your hands. “I didn’t even want to tell you because I was scared of him knowing,” you whimpered. You honestly feared for Billy. Part of you had wanted him to be selfish and take off so his father would never know.
“I can deal with my dad,” Billy said with a little smile but you could see the thought of it weighing on him.
“I have to tell Steve,” you said after a moment and nibbled at your nails nervously.
Billy frowned, knowing that sneaking behind Steve's back had been killing you and now you had this to come forward with. “I'll come with you,” Billy said, meaning it entirely.
“No,” you said with a small frown. “Steve's going to be pissed, it will be better if it's just me,” you reasoned.
Billy nodded a little before taking your hand and bringing you towards the car. He helped you into the passenger seat before getting in on the other side. There was a pause as Billy lit a cigarette and stared at his lap. “Are you mad at me?”
You looked at him, surprised by his question. “No, of course not. Why would I be?”
“I did this,” Billy explained quietly, looking upset with himself. “My father always said I fuck up everything. Now I'm screwing up your life too.” Billy sniffed and flicked his cigarette out the window, looking mad with himself.
“Baby, this wasn't just you,” you said and reached over, holding the hand he had on his thigh. “It's going to be okay. We can figure this out,” you tried, tilting your head to try and look him in the eye.
Billy lifted his eyes to your before he leaned forward and pressed a kiss to your lips. “I'm going to take care of you. I promise,” Billy said. “I'm not going to let anything happen to you or the baby. I'll get us a place. It'll be small but you can decorate and make it just the way you want,” Billy rambled but you knew he meant every word.
You wanted to tell Billy you loved him but you hadn't exactly exchanged the words yet and knew he had probably had enough shockers for one day. So you settled for placing a gentle hand on his cheek and a deep kiss on his lips.
“We'll figure it out,” he assured and you relaxed a little. You felt so much better with Billy on your side, you knew you weren't alone. You just prayed your brother would understand.

“Steve?” You nervously stood in the doorway of your brothers bedroom, staring at him as he sat on his bed. He was messing with your alarm clock that you had mentioned broke earlier at breakfast.
“Hey,” Steve said, looking over his shoulder at you. “I think I fixed this,” he said before he sat it down. You both waited a second and the sound of your alarm came from it. “Good as new,” he said with a smile before unplugging it and handing it to you.
“Thanks, Steve,” you said quietly and shot him a little smile.
“No problem. How was your day?” Steve asked as he motioned for you to sit in the bed beside him. “You feeling any better?”
“Uh,” you started, not being able to look at him. You stared at his bed, not wanting to look at the alarm clock in your hands either, feeling guilty. “I actually need to talk to you about that,” you started before clearing your throat and shifting a little on the bed.
“What's up?” Steve asked, looking at you nervously. It was killing you that he looked so worried.
“I need you to remember that you've always told me that you would love me, no matter what,” you said as your eyes started watering. You were so scared of Steve's reaction.
“Hey, of course,” Steve said and rubbed your arm gently. “What's wrong?”
You sighed out brokenly as you looked at him finally. “I'm pregnant,” you choked out.
You watched Steve's eyes widen before his mouth hung open, he stuttered a bit in shock. “Who-Who’s the father?” His tone was shocked but confused, he didn't remember you seeing anyone recently.
You looked at him with pleading eyes as tears ran down your face. “Billy Hargrove,” you whimpered before you saw Steve's face become even more shocked. You covered your mouth and hung your head, crying miserably.
“W-What?!” Steve asked, he had been dazed for a moment before his mind registered what you said. “When did you sleep with Billy Hargrove?!” Steve stood from the bed as anger boiled in his veins.
“We've been sneaking around,” you admitted with a sad voice. “For about a year,” you whimpered again, your voice breaking.
“A year?!” Steve hollered and you cried more, seeing how mad he was with you. “You just went behind my back?! After what he did!”
“It was an accident! I got drunk at a party after Brian cheated on me,” you rambled as your voice kept breaking. “Billy was just there and we started talking,” you said and hid your face. “Then we did it at another party and we just…,” you trailed off before you shook your head. “Steve, you have to believe me. I didn't plan for this to happen,” you tried.
“Get out,” Steve said angrily, staring at the wall behind you. He was fuming and he couldn't look at you, anger boiling through him.
“Steve, please?” You said, trying to touch him, to hug him.
“No, get out!” Steve said, pulling away from you. “You could have been with anyone and you chose him! The one guy I said not to! You have no respect for me! I hope he breaks your damn heart, then maybe you'll learn your lesson! So just get out!”
You whimpered brokenly before you covered your mouth with your hands and left his room. You went to your own bedroom and curled up in your bed, hiding your face into your pillows.

It was a rare evening your parents were home, let alone together. It was even rarer than your mother cooked but tonight she did. It had been a week since you had told Steve about Billy and the pregnancy and you both still hadn't spoken. Billy had been busy at work for most of the week so you hadn't seen him, you were feeling isolated.
“So, anything interesting happen this week?” Your mother asked, glancing to you both.
“Oh, yeah. (Y/N) has big news,” Steve said, he put a knowing smile on his face and looked to you. You stared at him, shocked he was putting you on the spot. You both had always agreed to keep each other's secrets, this was the first one to ever be broken.
“Oh?” Your mother asked, putting on a pleasant smile and pretending to be interested.
“Its nothing,” you mumbled before you took a bite of your food.
“Well, I'd hardly call a pregnancy nothing,” Steve said bluntly. Your head shot up to him and your mouth hung open a little in shock.
“You're pregnant?!” Your father barked and everyone flinched.
“Dad, I-,” you started before hanging your head and nodding.
“I ought to beat it out of you!” Your father hollered and even Steve looked shocked. Your father got out of his chair and walked over, grabbing you by your arm. Your father had always been short-tempered and angry but this was the first time he'd put a hand on you. “You're not gonna be living here!”
“Dad, come on,” Steve tried, not expecting things to go this far.
“No! She wants to act grown, fine! I'm not going to have you living here with some bastard child!” He screamed before he pushed you towards the stairs. “Grab one bag and get out!”
Your mother didn't say a word as she picked up her glass of wine and sipped it, looking away. You sniffled as you slowly went up the stairs and into your room. You held still in disbelief for a moment before you shakily got a bag together. You packed mostly clothes and then sat on your bed, looking at your nightstand. A framed photo of you and Steve sat on it from when you were younger. Steve had his arm around your shoulder as you both stared into the camera, goofy expressions on your faces.
You hand went to your abdomen and even though it was flat you rubbed it. “You're not a bastard,” you whispered, looking down at your belly. You stayed there for only a moment longer, then you grabbed the photo of you and Steve and took one last glance around your room before going out in the hall.
“Dad, come on! This is ridiculous,” Steve was arguing with your father in his study when you came downstairs but you snuck by the door.
You stopped by your mother who still sat at the table, sipping her wine and seeming upset. “I'm sorry, mom,” you tried weakly. She turned her head in the opposite direction before sipping from her glass again. You hung your head and walked out the door.

You had stayed at a friends house overnight, knowing you couldn't risk showing up on Billy's doorstep. His father would have killed you both on the spot. So the next day you made your way to Billy's work around lunchtime and sent him a small wave when he came out for his break.
Normally, Billy always smiled when he saw you show up at his work but this time it was more concerned. He knew you had probably spoken with Steve and maybe even your parents, he was worried you'd be upset. “Hey, baby,” he said before pressing a small kiss to your lips. “What's with the bag?”
“My parents kicked me out,” you said and tried to seem fine but your face crumbled and you started to cry.
“Shit,” Billy hissed before he pulled you into him. “I thought you weren't going to tell them until you were further along?”
“Steve was so mad with me,” you whimpered. “He told them,” you confessed and shook your head, wiping at your eyes. “I don’t think he’ll ever forgive me,” you whined and tried to stop, tried to pull yourself together.
“Well, I can figure something out,” Billy tried, seeming to rack his brain. “I'll find us a place for now. There's an apartment for rent in town,” he said, motioning down the road. “It’s only one bedroom but we can make it work,” he rambled.
You nodded and hid your face into Billy, just happy to have him holding you. “I'm gonna apply at the diner. I can work nights until I finish school,” you reasoned. “I only have a few more weeks.”
Billy frowned a little and rubbed your back. “I wish you didn't have to. I don't want you to be stressed out.”
“I'll be okay,” you assured.

“Hi, welcome to Benny’s. Sorry for the wait, we’re a little busy. My name is (Y/N) and I’ll be taking care of you,” you rambled mindlessly and finally found your pen in your hair. Your eyes lifted and when your glance met Steve’s face you stayed quiet for a moment.
“(Y/N)...I uh-Well,” Steve stuttered out in his normal fashion, not knowing what to say. “Carol told me that you were working here,” he admitted after a moment of regaining himself.
“Can I start you off with a drink?” You asked, ignoring his statement entirely. You hadn’t seen Steve in about two months, truth be told, you were avoiding him.
“Listen, I just want to talk,” he tried, putting his hands palm up on the table, explaining himself.
“I don’t have time to talk. I’m at work. Have a nice day, sir,” you said before turning and walking away. You were happy you turned in time because your eyes had started watering. You missed Steve horribly but you were still so angry with him. You had both promised to never tell each other’s secrets to your parents and Steve had told the biggest one. You knew he had been mad about Billy but you had kept huge things quiet for him, you had thought he would do the same.
“(Y/N), come on,” Steve said, getting up from his chair and following you. “You can’t ignore me forever. I’m your brother,” he argued and grabbed your arm gently.
“Yeah, I know!” You shot back and when people started to watch you both you only turned and continued to walk out of the room. You went into the back hall and started removing your apron, your shift nearly over anyways. “I’ll see you in the morning, Jim,” you mumbled to the cook in the back. You confirmed with him that the next waitress had arrived for her shift before going out the back, Steve still on your heels.
“(Y/N), it’s late. Let me give you a ride,” Steve tried, following you and trying to get in front of you. He was like a lost puppy, trying to get someone to take notice of him.
“I have a ride,” you mumbled as you headed towards the blue Camaro parked out back.
The drivers side door opened and Billy flicked his cigarette away. He normally got out to give you a kiss and open your door but his eyes laid on Steve. The two hadn’t seen each other since everything had happened and neither was sure where they stood with each other, not that they had been in good standards to begin with.
Steve wasn’t sure what came over him but everything was feeling like Billy’s fault. If he had just stayed away from you, nothing would have changed. You would still be close to Steve and at home, safe.
Billy went to open your door and Steve pushed him back, glaring at him. Billy shot Steve a glare but surprised you by keeping his hands by his sides. “You had to go and fuck everything up, didn’t you?” Steve snapped angrily at Billy.
“Steve, stop it!” You shot, defending Billy. You knew Billy heard that talk enough growing up with his father, he didn’t need it from anyone else. Your eyes rested on Steve, his face was angry and it was like he had shifted into another person. You had seen the face back when he was in high school and had a tendency to be a little more hurtful towards others.
“No, he can take it. Right, Billy? You go and fucking knock up my sister. If you’re man enough to be a father aren’t you man enough to be told you’re a fuck up?” Steve asked and shoved Billy back again. “How about you show my sister what kind of person you are under that fake facade you’ve been putting on?”
You could see the anger in Billy’s eyes and you walked over, pushing Steve back from him. “Just stop it!” You hollered at Steve, angry he was doing this. “Why are you so goddamn mean right now?!”
“Because he’s going to hurt you!” Steve said and his eyes softened when he looked at you. “Because he’s not good for you!” His hands gently touched your arms and you realized Steve was genuinely hurting. You had known your brother long enough to know he was scared and worried sick for you. Now that you let yourself look into Steve’s face you could see the tiredness in your brother’s eyes. Steve had always been the type that couldn’t sleep when he was stressed out over something.
You were torn internally, you wanted to comfort your brother but you didn’t want Billy to think for a second that you believed a word Steve said. You stared at him for a moment before you held his hand in yours and squeezed it. “Come on, Billy,” you said quietly before you let Steve’s hand go and walked over to the car.
Billy walked over and opened your door for you, he closed it once you got in and shot one glance back to Steve. “I’m not going to hurt her,” Billy mumbled quietly and sighed. “Give me a fucking chance, Harrington.”
“No,” Steve said, looking at Billy with hard eyes.
Billy nodded his head before he went around his car and got in the driver’s side, he backed out of the spot and pulled away. Steve’s eyes followed the car, looking to where you were sat in the passenger seat.
__ __
You kept your distance from Steve over the next few months, purposely avoiding him at all costs. As your pregnancy progressed, you started to realize Billy growing distant. He slept on the couch more, he came home late and a few nights you walked yourself home from Benny’s. You weren’t sure what was really going on with him but tried not to pressure him, knowing he normally had to realize it on his own. You stayed patient until your due date was coming up and you grew nervous.
You got out of your bed one night and slowly eased yourself up, grimacing a little at the weight of your belly. You slowly made your way down the hall to where Billy was passed out on the couch. You nibbled your lip a little before you moved a few empty beer cans from the table and sat yourself down onto it. You stared at him with a sad smile on your face before you leaned forward and shook his shoulder gently. Billy’s eyes cracked open before he jumped up, quickly looking around.
“Hey,” you said quietly, calming his panicked look.
“Can’t sleep?” Billy grumbled and rubbed at his eyes as he sat himself up in front of you. “I was gonna come to bed I just…,” he trailed off a little and gave you an almost guilty look.
“Billy,” you said quietly and gave a little, defeated sigh. “You don’t want to do this, do you?”
Billy opened his mouth and closed it a few times, his hands folded in front of him. He brought them up to his face, rubbing at his eyes before sighing a little. “I never planned on being a father. I never wanted to have kids,” he admitted. “We never got to have that talk,” he confessed.
You nodded a little and found your eyes welling up a bit. You had had the sinking feeling over the last few months, as it got closer to your due date, the more distant Billy seemed. He was pulling away, no longer able to deny what was going to happen.
“Steve was right,” Billy mumbled, sounding saddened. “I thought I could do it. I really did,” he confessed and looked into your eyes. “I just-,” he trailed off, losing his words and he folded his hands again before hanging his head.
“It’s okay, Billy,” you whispered but tears still slipped from your eyes and down your cheeks. “I’ll be okay,” you said with a sad, smile and tiny shrug. You didn’t want Billy to feel bad about it, even though it was ripping you apart. You had wished he would have told you in the beginning but was also grateful he had tried for you.
“I guess it’s true,” he said with a slightly angry sigh. “I am a fuck up,” he said and shook his head.
“I’m not mad,” you confessed and you really weren’t, you were more sad. “You’re not a fuck up either. You really tried, Billy.”
There was silence between you both for a few minutes before Billy couldn’t stand it anymore, the guilt eating him from the inside. He got up and packed a bag before grabbing his jacket from beside the door. “I’m gonna go to Tommy’s,” he said after a moment, he played with his keys a little in his hand and looked to them. He slowly came over and each step of his boots made your eyes water more. “I’m sorry, baby,” he whispered and you swore you heard a small sniffle come from him. He pressed a kiss to the top of your head before pulling away.
The sound of his boots walking up to you had broke you down but the sound of them walking away broke your heart. You bit onto your lip and closed your eyes, keeping yourself turned away from him while you remained on the table. You heard the door open and he paused before it closed. You held it for a few moments but soon enough broken gasps came from you and you lost yourself. Loud sobs came from you as your hand rested on your pregnant belly and you realized you were all alone.
__ __
Steve yawned and rubbed at his eyes grumpily as the phone rang down the hall in his apartment. He reached over onto his nightstand and checked the clock, seeing it was nearly three in the morning. “Idiot,” he mumbled before rolling back into the warm covers as the phone stopped ringing. He readjusted himself to get comfortable and relaxed back into the bed when the phone began ringing again. “Dammit,” he angrily grumbled before he threw off the covers and stomped towards the phone. “Hello?!” He barked, hugging himself in the cool hallway.
“St-Steve?” Your voice quietly came through the phone and your brother instant snapped wide awake, his heart in his throat. “My-My water just broke and I fell trying to pack and now it hurts and I can’t stand up,” you rambled quickly, your voice shaking as you cried through it. “I need you,” you whimpered.
Steve was already in big brother mode, he had found a pair of pants and was cramming his shoes on as you spoke. “I’m on my way. Are you at your apartment?” He asked, keeping the phone wedged between his ear and his shoulder.
“Yes,” you whimpered. “I fell by the bed,” you explained and whined as you felt contractions. “I don’t think I have a lot of time,” you warned.
“Okay, do I need to pick up, Billy?” Steve asked, figuring that’s why you had called him in a panic.
“No,” you said shortly. “Just hurry!”
Steve told you that he would and then hung up the phone, only staying long enough to grab his keys.
Steve had moved away from your parents but it put him closer to you. He knew where you lived, you were right down the road from him. He hadn’t told you how close he lived because he knew you’d accuse him of hovering and keeping an eye on you. Truth be told, he was but he was your older brother and he felt like it was his job, no matter how mad you got at him. He parked his car right in front of your building in case he needed to get you to the hospital quickly and ran up into your apartment. He tried the elevator but when it didn’t instantly open, he ran up the stairs, taking them three at a time.
“(Y/N)?” Steve asked and pounded on the door, it was locked and he couldn’t get it open. He heard you crying out in pain and after not finding a key under the doormat, he slammed into the door with his shoulder. He broke it open on his third try and instantly ran up the hall, towards your sounds.
“Steve! Steve!” You nearly cried in relief as he knelt beside you and hugged you close to him. “I think I hurt the baby. I think I messed up,” you whimpered and looked down to the blood on your pajama shorts. “I was just trying to pack and I wasn’t thinking and I tripped,” you explained before sobbing.
“We’re going to get you to the hospital and you’re going to be okay,” Steve whispered before he got you up into his arms, gently hoisting you up as you cried. “Hold onto me,” he told you quietly and you wrapped your arms around his neck, grimacing in pain. Once he was sure you were okay, he brought you out to his car, taking the elevator this time to be safer with you in his arms. He got into the car and drove as quick as he could while staying safe with you beside him. He had to admit there was fear inside him as you cried and the bloody spot on your shorts only seemed to become worse.

Steve sat with you through the whole night as you labored painfully and long. He held your hand and attended to every need you had. He stayed with you through your delivery and found instant tears in his eyes when the sounds of your newborn's cries reached his ears.
“It's a girl!” Your doctor cheered and you let out a small sob with a huge grin on your face.
Steve watched with unwavering eyes as the nurses cleaned up your baby and brought her over to you. He watched you look at your baby and the littles ones eyes looked at you. Steve sniffled quietly and wiped at his eyes before he leaned down close to you.
“Is she okay?” You asked him, looking up at your brother, so happy he was there with you.
“She’s perfect,” he told you before pressing a kiss to the crown of your head. “Just like her mom,” he whispered and you look to him before your eyes welled up a bit. Steve gently ran his hand through your hair, brushing it back from your face.
Steve glanced up when one of the nurses walked out and his eyes fell onto Billy’s face. He was standing by the nurses station, looking into the room a little but keeping out of sight. Steve glanced down to you holding onto his niece, still smiling and content with your new joy. “I’ll be right back, okay?” He said to you and you nodded gently, your eyes not leaving your new baby.
Steve slowly walked out of the room and once Billy realized he was caught, he put his hands in his jean pockets. “Is the baby okay? Is she okay? One of my neighbors called, I heard she fell and someone said the door was broke in,” Billy began rambling and his eyes still stayed on where you were in the room down the hall.
Steve sighed softly and did his best to swallow any negativity he was feeling towards Billy. “They’re both fine,” Steve said, before glancing back with Billy towards your room. “What’s going on, Hargrove?” Steve asked after a moment, glancing to Billy again. “Why’d you leave her?”
“You were right,” Billy mumbled after a moment and Steve swore he saw a shine in Billy’s eyes. “I was just going to fuck everything up. I already did fuck up with her,” he said quietly and shook his head. “That kid is better off without me,” Billy said, seeming like he’d made up his mind.
“It’s a girl,” Steve said quietly, seeing that Billy was trying to distance himself. He wanted Billy to leave you alone if he genuinely didn’t want the kid but he didn’t want Billy to give up if he wanted you both. If Billy would be a good father and wanted his child, Steve wanted him to claim it.
Billy was quiet for a moment and the shine returned to his eyes. “She’s healthy?” He asked nervously, biting at his bottom lip.
“Doctor says she’s perfect. Has all her tiny little toes and fingers,” Steve said with a little smile. “She may have also gotten your curls,” he said, bumping Billy a little with his shoulder.
“She has that much hair?” Billy asked, almost sounding amused with a sweet smile on his face.
“A whole head of it,” Steve said with a smile on his own face. Billy seemed to sway towards your door before he remained in his spot, his eyes still focusing on it but looking like he was giving up again. “What worries you, Hargrove?” Billy looked at Steve finally when he asked that question. “Why don’t you want to be her father?”
“I ain’t never gonna be good enough for that kid,” Billy muttered, almost sounding angry. “I’m never gonna be good enough for (Y/N),” Billy said after a moment and sighed. “I’m gonna be just like my own father, a fucking asshole.”
“You know,” Steve said after a moment, choosing his words wisely. “I’m pretty sure that if you’re that worried about hurting them, you’ll never intentionally do a single thing bad to them.” Billy glanced back to Steve, his eyes searching the others face for a hint of him lying or joking with him. “Just love my sister,” Steve said quietly and glanced back to you on the bed. “She makes everything else fall into place,” Steve said with a little smile.
“She does have that way about her,” Billy confessed after a moment, looking back to you as well. “I’m sorry that I punched your face in and that I messed around with your sister behind your back,” Billy confessed after a few moments of silence.
“I’m sorry that I called you a fuck up,” Steve said with a small frown. “And that I was such an asshole to you in general.”
“I deserved it,” Billy said honestly before he looked back to you. “Is she going to be mad at me?”
“I doubt it,” Steve said honestly and gently placed a hand on Billy’s back. “Go meet your daughter,” Steve whispered.
Billy hesitated for only a moment before he walked into the room with you, you looked surprised but happy to see him. Steve watched as Billy came over to you and placed a kiss on your head, then looked at the baby. The smile on Billy’s face was infectious and Steve found a smile on his own face. He watched Billy tear up before kissing you again.
Steve saw Billy tell you he loved you and you said it back. He knew things between you both weren’t always going to be perfect but Steve was happy to see Billy back by your side.
#57 for your Billy smut prompts please??? he was made for this one 😛
"You're so hot when you're mad." with Billy Hargrove
18+++ Smut
You sat on Billy’s lap with a drink in your hand as you watched a few people dancing. The party was in full swing and loud music blared throughout the house. You honestly didn’t know how Tina’s parents were always so oblivious to these parties or how she cleaned up well enough for them to not noticed but you never asked. Billy’s hand was resting on your thigh like it usually did, the grip was firm and possessive like it normally was. Whenever you both were at a party he kept a firm hand on you. He knew there was a few other guys who had their eye on you, Steve Harrington was one of them and he tried to make a pass every chance he got. You didn’t really care for any of the other guys but you weren’t about to let Billy know that, you enjoyed his possessiveness. Billy wasn't one to show many emotions, so you understood him being possessive was his way of showing he didn't want to lose you.
“Hey, Hargrove!” Tommy said as he came in from out back. You saw him staring at you and Billy and raised your eyebrows at him. “Harrington has challenged you to a keg stand,” Tommy explained to Billy before laughing. “He says if he wins, he gets to kiss your girl,” Tommy said before bursting into a fit of laughter. “He’s drunk as hell.”
You seemed to hum at this before rolling your eyes, the boys and their drunken activities never ceased to amaze you. You shook your head before looking at Billy. “Let’s just go home,” you said before pressing a kiss to his lips.
“Party just started, babe,” Billy said before he moved your legs off of him. He got up from the couch and took your hand, heading towards the back door. “Besides, don’t worry about it. Obviously I’m going to win. Harrington’s already trashed and I haven’t lost yet,” he said with his usual cockiness. You knew Billy wanted to strut his alpha male ego around the party and the fact that you were part of the bet only made him want to do it all the more. Billy loved kissing you anytime Steve walked by in the halls at school or in the parking lot by his car. It was like he was marking you as his and this would be the ultimate display.
You let go of Billy when you got outside and tucked your fists under your arms, the air cool compared to the heated house. You saw Billy and Steve talking next to the kegs before Billy motioned for you to come over. You refrained from rolling your eyes again but couldn’t hold back your sigh as you stepped up to them both.
“You wanna do the honors and judge, doll?” Billy asked before placing a taunting peck on your cheek. You nodded and Billy handed you his jacket before getting behind the kegs.
“Okay, first person to remove the piece or let your feet touch the ground loses,” you said to them both as you put on Billy’s jacket. You saw a small crowd growing and knew your boyfriend was lapping it up. You really didn’t mind, something like this got Billy riled up and always lead to great sex.
“Alright, get set,” you said as both men got into position. “Go!” You said and both guys placed the piece in their mouths as they got held up. Everyone was counting and watching, you knew there really was no point for you to be judging with nearly the whole school watching every move.
It went on for almost a minute and you were honestly getting shocked by both guys still going. You heard a muffled cough and saw the mouthpiece slip from Bill’s mouth. Everyone began making shocked sounds before they cheered for Steve who finally let his go and put his hands up in victory.
“You’re drunk, Harrington,” you mumbled as he came up to you, swaying a bit and his eyes looked heavy. You couldn’t help but smile at him though as he drunkenly grinned at you.
“You owe me a kiss,” he said, nearly hiccuping. You saw Billy nearly exploding with anger behind Steve and bit your lip a little.
You tried placing a simple peck on his cheek but he wrapped his arms around you and near dipped you before placing a firm kiss on your lips. You were honestly surprised by it and even more surprised by Steve’s smooth move. He stood back up with you and finally pulled his lips from yours, a smirk on his features. Many people in the crowd whistled or cheered loudly. You found yourself still staring into Steve's eyes for a moment, shocked by just how good the kiss had been.
You removed the shocked expression from your face and turned to look at your boyfriend but he wasn't behind the kegs anymore. You saw him in the house, pounding a beer.
__ __
Billy was pissed, he was beyond fuming and was almost to the point where he scared you a little. He was driving erratically and angrily hitting his steering wheel on occasion as his loud music blared. You had tried to get his keys from him but he didn't let them go and was now tearing down back roads at high speeds.
Eventually he stopped, pulling off the road and parking in a field before he shut his Camaro off. He got out of the car and slammed the door loudly before he began pacing.
You got out of the passenger side before you slid yourself onto his hood and just watched him. You knew better than to approach Billy when he was this angry, he just needed to deal with it. So you laid back on the hood and lit a cigarette, taking a few drags from it before you held it out to him. He paused for a second, looking at it and you motioned your fingers at him with it, hoping he would take it. He did.
“You gonna run off with Harrington now?” He asked bitterly. You knew this was just Billy's insecurity rearing its ugly head at you.
“No. Not unless you want me to,” you said, showing him he was being dramatic.
“I can't stop fucking seeing him kiss you!” Billy hollered and harshly kicked at the ground, spraying dirt across the field.
You slowly slid off the hood and came over to him. He tried to resist you as you brought your arms around him but gave up, looking at your face. You placed your lips on his and it was like something jolted Billy into action. He tossed the cigarette mindlessly and his hands grabbed you, his grip tight and possessive. Your mouths moved together as one of his hands gripped into your hair, assuring you wouldn't pull away from him. He only broke the kiss when you were both desperate for air and his eyes stayed on your lips, admiring the redness on your skin that his crushing kiss had produced.
Billy would always hesitate here, you had noticed in your almost year together. If Billy was angry and anything got started between you both, it was like he wanted permission to go further. He always paused, needing the assurance that you weren't scared of him or uncomfortable in the situation.
“You're so fucking hot when you're mad,” you purred before crushing your mouth back against his.
This ignited Billy and his hands desperately ran over you, pulling you into him. You felt him hurriedly remove your belt and back you up against the side of his car. His fingers making quick work of the button on your pants and zipper before he sloppily pushed your pants and panties down your thighs.
You shoved off his jacket and you both pulled away long enough to remove your own shirts. The second you saw all his bare, warm skin displayed in front of you, you wrapped your arms around him. Your mouths worked together as you helped Billy with his belt and stepped out of your own pants that sat around your ankles.
One of Billy's hand came forward between you both and he ran a finger up your slit. “Look at you,” he purred against your ear and your nails dug into the muscles of his shoulders. Your head tipped back and you let a shaky moan come from your mouth. “All wet for me already?” His voice was low and his fingers left your legs weak.
Billy's motions stopped and he brought his hand around to your ass before resting the other on your lower back. He jolted you up and you wrapped your legs around his waist. You whimpered in a needy way as you felt his erection pressed against your core. You brought your mouth back to Billy's and your heated kissing grew even more desperate as you rubbed your wetness onto his erection, showing him how badly you wanted it.
Billy took a step towards his car, clumsily slamming you into it with his hurried motions. Your seductive hum against his mouth told him you didn't mind and he kept an almost bruising grip on your hips.
You moved your hands from his face and hair to around his neck, using your arms to pull yourself up a little more. You hummed when you felt his head brush against your hole and slowly let yourself slide down onto him. Billy let out this low sigh that made your whole body shiver.
Billy gave you a few cautious thrust before he pushed you back against his car and began to really move his hips. You whimpered out loudly as he got the perfect angle for both of you and his mouth found its way to your neck. This was always the best sex to you. When Billy was angry or jealous, the sex was always intense and all encompassing. Nothing else mattered but his strong hands bruising your waist and his toned body nearly crushing yours.
You fed your fingers through Billy's hair and moaned loudly as he was working you towards a quick orgasm. That was the only thing you hated, neither of you lasted long when it was this intense.
Billy's entire body stayed pressed against yours as his mouth worked over your neck. You knew he was littering you with hickeys, marking you as his so everyone would see. So that everyone would know, that Steve Harrington might have gotten to kiss you but Billy made you come apart on his dick that same night.
You dragged your nails over the muscles in Billy's upper back and whimpered against his ear. This was always too much for you, too intense to keep your sanity. Billy Hargrove had been the hottest man you had ever laid eyes on when he came to Hawkins and fucking him was almost always too much. Sex like this left you weaker than ever when he held you so desperately tight and when his hips worked you into the highest state of euphoria.
“My fucking girl,” he gritted out before choking on a moan. One of his hands left your hip and grabbed the back of your hair, pulling your face away from the crook of his neck. He glared down into your eyes as his thrusts made your body squirm and you whimpered. “Say it,” Billy breathed, his voice nearly sounding angry. “Say it!”
“I'm your fucking girl, Billy!” You whined and your hands held onto his shoulders, gripping into the skin. “I'm your girl,” you mumbled against his lips when he rested them against yours before kissing you forcefully.
You broke the kiss as your head went back against the roof of Billy's car and you whined loudly before moaning as your orgasm hit you. Billy brought his hands down to rub at that sweet bundle of nerves between your legs, driving you even higher. Your grip on the nape of his neck left his skin red as you road out your orgasm and squirmed against his thrusts. Billy pulled out just in time and you felt his warmth cover your thigh and between your legs.
He collapsed a bit against you and you both breathed heavily for a moment or two, neither moving. Billy kept you up for a few more moments before he slowly lowered you to the ground. You whimpered weakly as your body still felt the mind numbing throb of his previous thrusts between your legs. You brought your mouth to his and this time, the kisses were lazy and slow. You noted his hands simply rested on your hips now, his anger gone.
Billy pulled up his pants and fixed his jeans before he bent down and picked up your shirt. “Here, baby,” he said quietly. You thanked him and put it on before he handed you your pants, he knelt down and helped you get them over your boots that you had kept on and cleaned off your thigh. Billy seemed to always know that after sex like this you were exhausted and the muscles in your body were weak. He got his own shirt back on and jacket before he helped you into the car and got in to take you home.
__ __
You had rested your head against Billy's arm and hugged onto it during the drive. When he pulled up in front of your house he noticed you had fallen asleep and carefully removed his arm from your grip. He knew your parents weren't home and went ahead with your key and unlocked the door before opening it. Only to return to his car and open your door. He leaned over you and unbuckled your seatbelt before he bent down a little and pulled you into his arms. You stirred for a moment but wrapped your arms around his shoulders before nuzzling into his neck. Billy remained still for a second and tried to ignore the surge of love he felt for you in this moment without much success.
He eventually got you inside and into your bed but when he let you go and tried to stand up your eyes opened a little. He gave you a small smile before he went over and closed your bedroom door. He pulled off his jacket and kicked off his boots before he came over and sat at the foot of the bed, unlacing yours.
“Why are you so good to me?” You asked, your voice sounding dreamy as it was laced with sleep and you looked at him.
“I'm not good for you,” he mumbled as he removed your first boot and started unlacing the other.
“I said, ‘to me,’” you reminded, fixing him with a soft stare.
Billy set your boots on the floor as you undid your belt and pants, sliding them down and he pulled them off your ankles. You stretched a little, more comfortable without your jeans on. Billy looked at the bruising around your hips and waist and looked down a little.
He stayed quiet for a moment before he slowly crawled over your body and kissed gently at each bruise. You gently ran your fingers through his hair, feeling the soft curls against your skin. He slowly kissed up your body before his face was above yours and he looked into your eyes.
“Why are you with me?” He asked and the question surprised you a bit but you gently held his face in your hands.
“Because you're amazing, Billy Hargrove,” you said genuinely and leaned up, placing a soft kiss on his lips. “You make me laugh, you're incredibly sexy and even though you don't always act like it, you're immensely sweet.”
Billy seemed to roll his eyes at this and leaned off you a bit, laying beside you. You propped yourself up on your elbows and looked over at him. “Okay, then why are you with me?” You asked him.
“You're a good lay, your hot and you suck dick better than anyone else in this town,” he rambled mindlessly, keeping his gaze down, his eyes nearly lidded.
“How incredibly deep of you,” you mumbled before you sat up enough to throw back your covers and get under them. “Goodnight, Billy.”
“What? I pay you a compliment and then you get mad?” He asked, seeming irritated. You reached over onto your nightstand and grabbed your Walkman, putting the headphones on and turning the music all the way up. “(Y/N)?” Billy asked but you didn't respond, showing you couldn't hear him.
Billy sighed before laying back and staring up at your ceiling. He glanced around your room, having been here many times before. He let his hand run over your soft covers and glanced over, looking at your back.
“I'm with you because no one has ever understood me like you do. You get me more than anyone ever will and you have more patience with me than you should. Just like I know you're mad at me right now but in a minute you're going to roll over, cuddle up to me and apologize like it's your fault when it's not,” Billy said, glancing back over to you. You remained still and deafened to his words by your headphones. “That's why I love you.”
Billy sighed a little and shifted himself under your blankets after taking off his shirt and pants. He laid there silently until he heard your Walkman shut off and felt the bed shift a little. You moved over to his side and curled up against him. You breathed in like you were about to say something and Billy knew your apology was coming.
“Don't say you're sorry. You have nothing to be sorry for,” Billy mumbled, stopping you.
“How'd you know I was going to apologize?” You asked, scrunching up your face a little.
“Because you always do. I know you, doll,” Billy said as he wrapped his arm around you.
You gave Billy a little smile and pressed your face into his warm chest. It was moments like these that you knew he really cared, even when he wanted to act like he didn't. Billy knew you even after deciding he didn't want to know anyone in Hawkins.
“Still can't believe Harrington kissed you,” Billy mumbled after a few minutes.
You laughed a bit before shaking your head. “I'm your girl,” you said to Billy with a smile.
Billy looked down at you before a smile slowly creeped onto his face. “Yeah, you are,” he said before pressing a kiss to your lips and pulling you closer. “Still going to deck Harrington on Monday,” he mumbled.
“Billy!” You said, lifting your head a little.
“Oh pipe down,” he teased and pulled you back down against him. A grin covered both of your faces as you snuggled close.
