Day 1 notes from my “Screen Research Seminar“ for honours this semester. Most of this class is just helping to direct our independent research for our thesis project and giving us all a chance to get week-to-week feedback!
Which is great because I’m indecisive and often overwork myself, but highly stressful because it’s a fortnightly progress presentation and I’m a nervous wreck,,,
My blue-toned layout for the other week that I’m super proud of! The stickers were in a little sticker book from Daiso and I wish I’d gotten more than one, because I’m so in love with them. These little weekly layouts are going to start filling up much quicker now that the semester has started again, but I want to keep the little commission tracker I added down the side. It was so helpful to see how much money I had coming in, and how far away from payment the client was.
I went with a peachy toned yearly layout for my planner this time around! I wanted some colours that I wouldn’t grow sick of throughout the year, and well,,,, if you’ve seen my insta you’d know I’m yet to get bored of peaches and pinks lmao. I got a big set of fancy Prismacolors for Christmas and they’ve really made my planner and my drawings so much better! I don’t think I can go back to cheaper pencils after seeing how good these were in 1st year.

Day 2 notes! These ones here are from “Topics in Screen Research”, which seems to be about the practical planning and completion of our projects, and then where we can take those after we graduate.
That little triangular planning scaffold was super helpful in focusing my ideas but boy oh boy im not keen on the 2000 word project proposal and 10min presentation we have to do in 4 weeks!
