Mythologytale Sans - Slasher

Warnings: Mentioned violence, he's literally a god killer so... y'know. Also summoning ritual technically? (Aka, Killer being an absolute dumbass.)

Summoned using the Mythological Tales book, Slasher– also mentioned to be named “Sans” as well– is a major figure, known for his ability to kill gods.

Slasher is often depicted to be around 5’9”, wearing a fluff-rimmed hood, a turtleneck, a pair of sweatpants, and sneakers of some description. His SOUL is constantly visible– an inverted cyan heart encased in a pink border and a circle around it. His eyelights are white, but both of his sockets have markings of cyan and pink under them– nearly akin to that of eyeliner.

Despite his fierce and stoic appearance early on in the story, Slasher is actually known to be very mischievous. He often comes up with random wise phrases and he is far more intelligent than he would initially lead you to believe.

An interesting thing he does is switch to whatever way the person he’s speaking to speaks. For example, if he was talking with Nightmare, he would be using “thou’s” “thy’s” “thee’s” and such, as he knows that Nightmare grew up with that sort of language. However, if he was talking to Classic, he’d be using very subdued, lazy language.

There is evidence of Slasher undergoing a kind of change with his gender somewhere during his life– going from female to non-binary to male. It’s still common for Slasher to crossdress and is portrayed to have at least a hint of gender fluidity.

He also commonly says he doesn’t mind which pronouns he’s called by, as at the end of the day, Slasher will always be himself regardless of whatever labels others– or he, himself– use for him.

Slasher currently resides within Nightmare’s Castle after being summoned by Killer who decided it was within his best interests to “Fuck Around and Find Out” as Slasher named it.

His current objective is to kill Dream, though it’s suggested that he thinks the argument between the two Dreamtale brothers is, at its core, an aeons old toddler spat borne off of miscommunication and the inability to– despite being demigods of emotions– properly communicate their feelings to each other.

( He has also expressed a sort of cold, stony rage towards the villagers who had harmed Nightmare that could very well imply that he would slaughter all of them if he met them. ) Slasher is incredibly loyal and fiercely protective of Nightmare’s gang (His best and only friends), even going as far to take hits for them– almost to the point of dusting, which never fails to earn him a worried scolding from Nightmare himself.

Fun Fact about Slasher:

He has the power level of whoever he's fighting against if they have a higher power level than he does.

If they're less strong than he is, then he's slapped down to their power level. (Assuming that he is going after them.)

So yes, his omnicidal magical skill is as much a drawback as it is an attribute.

Funny Slasher (a sans au) Fact:

He can literally hear people's theme songs when he's within a certain range of them- like the same kind of music you hear when you ENCOUNTER a monster.
