Sent out a newsletter today for my general newsletter Cursebearer Confidential that talks more on some Mythoslain stuff! Covering already posted ground here, but also some extra thoughts on what's coming next from main comic stuff to extra zines.
The anniversary of Mythoslain on August 20th approaches QUICK & FRIGHTFUL. If all goes according to my wishes, my tentative hope is to finish out ACT 1 before that so we can launch ACT 2 on 8/20 alongside a sloppy something else... maybe?
So they're killing Adobe Animate? Lol. Very much Lol.
As if Adobe could be any more nonsensically vile!
I was certainly using the program in non-video designed ways that all documentation clearly didn't intend since they loathed the Flash corpse the program was slapped together from, but Come On. Ending update and tech support is one thing, but removing file access in 13 months??? I sincerely hope that I am misreading this awful announcement and FAQ here because this is horrid.
Is there going to be no way then to do HTML embed Flash-esque [S] pages now? Even if there is, what good use those endless hours spent learning and fighting Animate are to me now. :/
As predicted, Pathologic 3's release is delaying Mythoslain work, but trust that we will remain on schedule for big events coming soon! This is critical to me/???
More Mythoslain is COMING SOON - I have been afflicted by plague again, but this will only drive me to craft more intricate terrors. Be Aware.
SMALL HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT
Hello! I have overextended myself Greatly this month on top of general holiday chaos with a very important zine fest & two panels I'll be hosting for an upcoming local con, one of which will require considerable research to complete. Not to mention this is on top of IRL stress (i.e. car nightmares) & other obligations. I have also run low on near-final draft update content that risks me rushing myself needlessly to get updates out, which I absolutely don't want to do for what comes next.
Therefore, after the next update, I will be holding off on updates until the end of December! This blog won't be totally devoid of posting in that time, for sure, as I've been coping with stress in spare time doodling fun AU stuff I might share. It's not me procrastinating on the comic, I assure you, it's a low pressure thing I can do amidst the stress.
Thank you to anyone who has been enjoying my freaky guys, I must act responsible at the demands of my dearest friends so that I can continue to channel & showcase their nonsense. <3
I have grown highly Ambitious for the next update (& the big couple ones after). So we will be delaying until the 1st. Shortly after we return, expect some gross eye stuff, a new guy, & some "music."
While No One is probably holding me to this, next update is being pushed to tomorrow as not only have the contents overpowered me it turns out stuff like car shopping is Time Consuming when there's also some extra little stuff coming too.
I may be once again falling ill so updates may slow down as illness always plunges me in a greater writing mood. Not entirely though, I just won't be forcing myself to keep up at the cost of my body. I also keep drawing other things that would be spoilers to post. Siiiigh.
