Christa dies young, and Ymir never moves on from her first love. She take their daughter to Christa's grave every year filling the girls head with stories of how great her mom was.

Ymir believed that she'd never fall in love, or that if she did no one would ever like her of all people back.

This all changed the day she met Christa

☠ - Death headcanon

Ymir lives to an old age, seeing her children and her grandchildren grow old. Then when she finally passes she sees a familiar blonde  who smiles at her and tells her of how long she's been waiting.
