It’s quite hard to figure out how to make the production costs of any garment you decide to design with the idea of launching it to the market, cheaper enough to be competitive in the real market. Making it all as you had imagine: perfect looks, good materials and clean final touches without forgeting about the idea of getting some profit to make a living out of it, needs al lot of effort.
Thats what im learning in this program, Essential in Fashion from ParsonsxTeen Vogue. The costs of a Everyday bag I designed would need to be cut to half in order to be to be launchable to market. So it would have be done in half part of the time I estimated, besides I would need better and cheaper suppliers, and faster workforce.
