Island View.......... . . Yesterday I posted the industrial side of our island. Today I’m sharing what started it all. . . I rescued and gave new life to this cabinet over 25 years ago. It lived a life of leisure in our previous formal dining room. I knew we would not have that space in our farmhouse. I get very attached to junk pieces that I rescue and couldn’t sell it. So after drawing on graph paper for months, purchasing another similar cabinet (that by the way, wasn’t as similar as I thought😬😬), and at times getting scared and saying “we’ll just get the cabinet maker to build an island for us”, this is what we came up with. . .
