a concept for my dearest sagau:
instead of taking you to teyvat or getting isekai’d, your worlds are still starkly different. the prospects of crossing dimensions to take you— if even possible— were just not like to happen, so they stay within that little dimension of theirs on your phone.
they don’t do anything most of the time. maybe they’ll give you “bonus” content when you play. maybe they’ll up their damage just the smallest bit. if they’re particularly lucky, they’ll be able to send a little bit of electricity up your arm; it’s nothing painful but enough to make you jump.
albedo doesn’t know the extent of the metaphysics of it all, but he knows being able to cross over to your dimension would be almost impossible, given that if he were to enter, he’d dissolve into nothing before he can even talk to you.
out there, he is nothing but a soul without a body. he wouldn’t be able to do anything even if he could keep himself from disappearing as if he never even one existed.
but after countless experiments, hypotheses keeping him up in the wee hours of the night, he has a breakthrough that revolutionizes the entire cast of your favorite characters.
yes, if they are nothing but souls, all they would need is a host to take over. they would have to posses a pre-existing body to be able to meet you. it might have only been a theory, but he didn’t know how to prove it until that moment.
you had taken out your phone after a meeting with your group mates for a project. you fished out your phone from your pockets, turning it on and starting up genshin as you all took a small recess.
through tampering with the lens of your camera, albedo is able to observe your surroundings. he catches your smiling face, and he feels complete just looking at you.
unfortunately, the moment is short-lived when an unfamiliar face scooches up beside you. it’s no one he recognizes from your contacts, and he instantly wants to flare up when he sees them press close to your shoulder.
in the haze of his rage, he’s still able to pick up on the voice of the person next to you asking if they could try playing. being the kind soul you were (or he believed to be), you willingly agree to pass over your device to them.
a light bulb appears above albedo’s head, an idea striking him mid-pass.
with all his energy, he shoots electricity up the stranger’s arm. he can barely even process the yelp the person yelps out before he finds himself blinking his eyes open.
you’re inches away from him, staring up at him with worry as he just stares at you.
at first, he can’t believe it. you’re right in front of him, breathing— living. you’re even talking to him as you ask him if he was alright, but he’s way too enamored with your appearance upclose to realize what you’re trying to say.
he could barely even get a word out when he’s sent back from whence he came, back into his little place up in dragonspine. he clutches the side of his table, running a gloved hand through his blond locks before laughing.
what a discovery.
give me domesticity, you fucker
thinking about modern!ayato as the stranger you met while taking cover from the rain. you’re both stuck at a bus stop alone, waiting for the downpour to settle. you make small talk, laugh at a few dumb jokes, and maybe exchange more than just names in the span of time it took for the sun to finally come out.
perhaps after that, you guys became more than just strangers. he becomes your friend— a friend that somewhere along the line, you wanted to kiss; you wanted to wake up to; and you wanted to spend the rest of your life with. it was easy to dream that ayato could love you too.
alas, it was only a dream because your story with him ended as ayato being a stranger again— a stranger that left you alone on a bright sunny day.
brainrotting… (teen cult!reader)
my legs hurt right now, so all i can imagine having chongyun carry reader princess-style (claymore user things). he’ll get all red and blushy while you grip at his clothes, and he silently hopes that you don’t feel his heart beating a mile a minute. it takes everything in himself to keep his yang energy from taking over his disposition entirely. it makes him even more flustered when you kiss his cheeks as a thank you when he sets you down where you want.
the others can’t do anything but grit their teeth and wish they were in chongyun’s shoes. xingqiu gets antsy the most because while he’s strong, he can’t hold a candle to his best friend’s strength. he silently sulks before he gets the brilliant idea of entertaining you with his stories while you can’t move. xinyan as well feels much envy; she’s strong too! she wants to feel needed by you— like she isn’t useless after all this time. she and xiangling try to make up excuses to distract the cryo-vision wielder, just so they can take his place.
attributing to @wisteriaisekai’s villain au, i raise to you all scaramouche doing some digging about you and finding out that you are truly the god that they’ve been waiting for. he tracks you down at the border between mondstadt and liyue, and he’s tongue-tied when he finds your bruised and beaten up body resting behind the bushes that completely hide you from any of those disgusting citizens that wanted to hurt you.
there’s a calm before the storm, a moment of silence before a hurricane starts swirling at the line between the two nations. the sound of thunder wakes you, and you’re horrified to see an enraged scaramouche looming above you.
when you start crying and pleading for him not to hurt you, it takes every ounce of his self-control to calm himself down and gently pull you into his arms. it’s still frightening as his mouth remains shut, rubbing your back up and down to comfort you.
it’s only when you’re close to drifting away to sleep again that you hear him say something.
“i apologize for not coming sooner, your grace. rest assured, you’ll never have to hurt again.”
I HAVE A SAGAU CONCEPT:
this kind of ties in with teyvat being a conscious entity. i want to pull a magi and say that teyvat didn’t have a personality; it was only a set space that did everything accordingly to what it was programmed to do.
but due to the reader getting isekai’d to teyvat, the land earns consciousness through being connected to the reader’s soul— which results to it also earning a physical form similar to paimon. the merging of the parts of these two entities cause a few problems such as climate change and natural disasters that would definitely affect the lives of those leaving on teyvat.
as “alive” as teyvat becomes, it’s not completely independent. its emotions and will tie directly with yours, mostly because reader and teyvat “share” souls. also through this predicament is reader able to somewhat shape teyvat to their will; they have the power to raise mountains and seas as well as bringing down nation if they so wish.
idk i’m just brainrotting
