Nobody knows where it came from or where it even is. What is known is that it consists of several connected islands floating above the surface of an abandoned planet. Each island has its own unique ambiance, from an island steeped in antiquity to another that boasts of cybernetics and flying cars, and yet another that is rife with magic and mystery.
Strange forces have drawn individuals from all over the world–and different worlds–to this place for an unknown purpose. So far, nobody has discovered a way to leave: some continue to study the islands and the world beneath it in search of clues to help them return home, while others have simply accepted their new lives. Of those who have become accustomed to the strange happenings of Alheimar, there are a number who have used this as a second chance to live a new life that they won’t regret, unfettered by the expectations and responsibilities of their old worlds.

Alheimar is a semi-lit/lit, 18+, multi-fandom, open-world Discord roleplay. We are pro-fiction, which means that we support everything that our writers choose to write about. As such, there may be nsfw, dark, and potentially triggering content in our roleplays (such as dub/noncon, suicide/self-harm, etc.). All nsfw and triggering content will be clearly labeled: if there is something you are uncomfortable with, you may ask for it to be labeled, and then it is your responsibility to avoid it. You may not criticize or attempt to “shame” other writers for their content.
