It has truly been a loooong day! Mom’s surgery was scheduled for 10AM. As we waited, a trauma patient was flown in and that pushed the surgery back to 2:25, then 3:30. They finally took her to the OR at 4:45. We left to get food (@ripcitytacos and @trapkitchenpdx) and spanish coffee from @hubers.portland.or Her doctor told called to tell me everything went well and they were closing her up. Now we are just waiting to go see her in recovery. I hope this is it for surgeries for my Madre.
