gigglin n spent too much time readin the tags on my Johnny car hop sonic post so now I gotta compile my head canons list (n it is. alot. everytime a customer is a bitch to me at work I mentally squeeze car hop Johnny like a stress ball.)
- only got the job cause Darry vouched for him (no one wants to hire a greaser without their parents word) n is VERY hyper aware of that fact. some nights it's the only thing that keeps him from goin psycho crazy on someone's ass.
- low key has beef with half the kitchen staff cause eveytime they're slow on a ticket he gets yelled at. however. he's got a couple he's real close with n they 'fuck up' orders so he can take home free food to the guys sometimes
- in a universe where pony works with him everytime they pass each other they interlock their wheels together. when they stop to chat Johnny always braces Pony's skates against his own so he don't roll away.
- he also won't let Pony get yelled at for SHIT. He'll let some asshole bitch at him all day long but Pony gets even mildly fussed at n Johnny has to be physically held back from hollerin his head off.
- on the other hand pony once caught the manager bitchin about Johnny comin in with bruises n 'lookin like a fuckin hood rat' n pony damn near KILLED him
- on slow days they perch on the outside tables n watch the tuff cars cruise by
- won't ever say anythin but it low key stresses him out SO bad when the guys come to dick around (minus darry) cause he loves em but he always gets hollered at cause his friends are always actin a fool
- has the most DIABOLICAL customer service voice. he sometimes let's it slip around the gang/ pony n they always clown on him for it. @kalied0skull already made a wonderful point in the tags of my last post but he's got a real prim voice he puts on around older folks to make himself sound like 'a good southern boy' n he's got a real specific set of slang he'll let slide with the younger crowd/ greasers as an in
- has a mild beef with Dallas over the fact that dal will spend three days fuckin around with horses n gettin paid mad money n come home n be like GODDD work was so ANNOYIN meanwhile Johnny got called like three slurs, hollered at, nearly fired, n has been workin for 13 hrs consecutively. he damn near choke slams dallas.
- I'll link the lil mini fic below but when Johnny quits it's in a blaze of GLORY. he ain't wastin that shit at ALL. he dumps a whole milkshake onto some assholes lap, throws his skates through someone's windshield, n tells his manager to kiss his ass. he goes BUCK wild
