Nugu GG of the Week #329 : N*White (part 5)

일기장 (Diary) is the final track I chose, the song is a bit more slower. A nice mellow pop track with some nice production elements going along with the acoustic guitar.

By the end of 2015 another member left the group leaving them as a duo however in 2016 it was assumed they disbanded. Post disbandment one member had a brief acting career for a few years and another member made their debut as one of those afreecatv bj people.

Nugu GG of the Week #328 : N*White (part 4)

그대만 아세요 (Only You Know) is a b-side from their 2nd mini album, this song definitely feels like a reject Lovelyz song. The bouncy production and the hook reminds me of songs like Candy Jelly Love and even DKDK by Fromis 9 but it has a slightly more funky feel. IMO the best song in their small discography.

Nugu GG of the Week #327 : N*White (part 3)

N*White returned the following year in 2015, with one less member, with their first comeback Paradise. Again another solid Christian bop, they're singing to the Lord and you can't help but get lost in the melody. Personally I feel this song is better than their debut, the vocals are also a bit stronger.

MV has got the classic Instagram filter where everything is bright, also using lots of similar sets you see in other MVs like I've seen these sets in Girl's Day, Sunny Hill, Fiestar etc MVs.

Nugu GG of the Week #326 : N*White (part 2)

Next is a b-side, You And I, this song is from their first mini album, a solid upbeat Christian bop in true APink/Lovelyz fashion. However on their 2nd album they included a acoustic version which is a nice slow jam, the Xmas sleigh bell they added in throws me off but it's a nice version. Personally I love when groups give us an acoustic version.

Nugu GG of the Week #325 : N*White (part 1)

N*White was a 4 member group that debuted in 2014 with their first mini album Fairy Tale. The members were Lin-A, Soohyun, Subin and Hakyung.

The group name N*White means Natural White 🤔 like okay that's great. All the good names for girl groups (Jewelry, Rainbow, Brown Eyed Girls, BESTie) are taken so they took what was available clearly.

This group is obviously the daughters of APink and Lovelyz, we got ourselves another Christian horse girl group. Their vocal line is fine considering most nugus. This song really feels like a nice blend of I Don't Know by APink and Hi~ by Lovelyz 🤔

MV was silly, they're at a costume party, Darth Vader has a lightsaber battle with a Robot because he used force powers to pick on the robots girl, the budget was tight but they made it work.
