Hot take: Spanking is ok. but, mainly if your child violates the N.A.P. first and verbal reprimanding is only making it worse, ie: throws your things, smacks your tv, hits you first (this one they have to be older for though). BUT! the discipline must be controlled and not done out of anger. Take time to cool down, and them 3-5 swats is the maximum.
