Dirty Deal Audio session – closing event for Liepaja Art Forum @ Great Amber concert hall (30.09.2018)

We have the honor to organize the closing event for Liepaja Art Forum 2018! Location: Great Amber concert hall, time: 30. September, Sunday.

The event will highlight some of the most outstanding (in our opinion) electronic music projects from Latvia. In the course of the evening, live performances will feature different dance music mutations and experiments with sound, as well as more classical forms of electronic music.

This was not an easy task to choose seven musicians for the event, as we do have much more great forward thinking musicians out there in our small country. Here is our pick and the plan for the 30. sept. evening:

!! In 30.09. No Sex Just Talk label is releasing three cassettes: Glociks, Multilux and Ωtek -- and we have the honor to host all three musicians in our night! Cassettes will be available starting 29.09. at Great Amber merch shop and starting from 30.09 via labels bandcamp page!

!! During the weekend our friends from DrawOrgy are coming to Liepaja and they will continue to paint our DDA Liepājas HQ and WISE walls.

Details about the evening:

Starting from 18:30 in Civita Nova Art Room, the artist Figūras, or Kaspars Groševs, will warm up the crowd with abstract sci-fi electronic music. ELVI follows with their concert programme MAXIMUM.TOUCH, created by using only the vocal samples from the R&B music of the 90s and early 2000s. The demonstration cycle will be closed by Ωtek’s techno concert, composed in a skillful manner.

Starting from 20:00, the Great Hall will start its electronic program, made up of four different musical acts. A concert of harmonious ambient music will be performed by composer and artist Sign Libra, or Agata Meļņikova. In addition, a performance rich of bass and neat guitar parts will be given by PRAGAII - a duet, consisting of Kashuks, electronic music producer, and Aleksis Luriņš, a multi-instrumentalist and guitar virtuoso of the new generation. A heavier techno shower will be sprayed by KODEK, one of the most prominent standard-bearers of electronic music in Latvia, using the local modular synthesizer systems Erica Synths. Finally, a concert of apocalyptic and futuristic extra-terrestrial music will be performed by the sound artist N1L. Background video assistant in the Great Hall - video artist INA VARE. Hosted by ansis, a living legend and a representative of Dirty Deal Audio, and Labais Dāma, the general at music publishing house No Sex Just Talk.

After the concerts in Great Amber we are moving to ex. cinema "Daile" -- independent k/c WISE (+/- 7 min. walk from concert hall, Alejas street 9) and from 23:30 starting #DDAseanss part two (non official #LiepājasMākslasForums afterparty).
