smth I've been so frustrated by while replaying fallout 3 is just how unfinished so much of it feels. there's so much in the game that starts off really interesting & then zero execution later on. charon as a character is so interesting but you never get to find out what the deal is w his contract or who brainwashed him. there are multiple lines that imply the children of atom in megaton will not be happy if the bomb gets deactivated, but nothing comes of it when you do. a lot of empty buildings w holotapes or the implication that smth more was supposed to happen there. the washington monument being cemented into the iconic skyline of the capital wasteland & yet it serves a single purpose for 5 seconds. or the capitol building. whats w the talon company fighting a bunch of super mutants? whos even hiring those guys to come kill a good karma lone wanderer anyways? so much just gets left unanswered & it adds to this feeling of dissatisfaction while playing the game. bethesda constantly starts a bunch of really captivating sentences & then never finishes them
