I’m still gonna hold the line of thinking that the Faceless might be Boram Darkwill, a fact Swain 100% knows.
Considering as per the Noxus update Boram’s defining feature and the reason he even gained control of Noxus in the first place is his guile. He lied to the nobility, played on their arrogance, and then when he got what he wanted, he shoved them all aside because Noxus’s strength didn’t lie in them, just their influence. This motherfucker out-witted LeBlanc once, so I get the impression he could reasonably do it again without much trouble.
Also, Boram is kinda also known for not really having much vision like Swain and would take risky gambles like, oh, switching himself out with a hostage to test someone like a cheeky bastard and then totally not smiling under a mask when Swain lectures him about it later.
Would explain why the Faceless is a heavily disguised, masked, unspeaking figure, despite Swain and Darius clearly having heard them speak and even being familiar enough with their behavior to regard them with an almost “again” mundanity when they pull a risky gamble, but no one else knows a bloody thing about them.
Also, it’d be fucking hilarious because LeBlanc somehow didn’t see Boram being a bastard coming, again.
