dusting off one of my oldest ocs and reflecting on how far theyve come
This last week has been amazing! I got the opportunity to go to Sheridan, Wyoming and participate in some pre-service professional development. I was able to mingle with other pre-service teachers and teachers currently in the field from across the western US. It was an amazing week, and I hope to be able to participate again! #naae #sheridan #wyoming #futureteacher #wsuaged #buffalo #waterfall #yellowstone #professional #development #preserviceteacher #ediblehorticulture #horticulture #agmechanics #animalscience #naturalresources #tours
I am so close! Trying to finish up all of my homework tonight so I can enjoy my trip to Wyoming this week! 😀 #homework #almostdone #college #wsu #naae #wyoming #futureteacher #collegestudent #student

Gigil wa cakap lu. Walaupun dah 3 tahun buat benda yang sama. I am still nervous. Even if I have been creating the same awareness for the past 3 years. #nonprofit #eczema #itsan #naae

1. Because Agricultural Education NEEDS YOU!!!
The top 10 reasons to become an Agricultural Educator...
1. Because Agricultural Education NEEDS YOU!!!
Believe it or not, there is a national shortage of Agriculture Teachers. Yes, that is right, a national shortage of motivators, advisors, educators, positive agents of change! Agricultural and Extension Education needs you!!
Clearly, Agricultural Education is key to the preservation of industry we all love and cannot live without. The Teach Ag! Campaign in affiliation with the National Association of Agricultural Educators, presented these numbers at the 2013 Agricultural Education Summit...
There are 7700 Agricultural Education programs in the United States.
95.5 NEW Agricultural Education programs opened this year.
500 Teachers will retire in the next 3 years.
140 Programs are operating this year with an Agricultural Educator that is alternatively certified.
19 programs closed to the lack of qualified Agricultural Education teaching candidates
Agricultural Education programs cannot afford to let some of these numbers continue to decrease. So think about it! Maybe, just maybe, Agricultural and Extension Education is for you? Remember, WE NEED YOU!
