     Tilting his head slightly in inquisitiveness, Caius asked, “Are you from the world above?”

     The little boy, no older than eight, was quite knowledgeable about the tension concerning the two worlds: Cocoon and Gran Pulse. He had been taught that the people of Cocoon were evil and that they would not hesitate to kill anyone from Gran Pulse. They were a constant threat that needed to be careful of.
