Oh my gosh askndksa I'mma start with the less the "cringe" ones bare with me
Nabalu, the celestial dragon one, was inspired from a folklore my mom told me years ago how'd back in the day, when there's an eclipse, the village would make as much noise as possible as it's said that a dragon appeared from the mountain to eat the sun. Supposedly the noise would scare the dragon into vomiting the sun back up like how a snake would its food when they feel threatened. So Nabalu was kinda made like an anti-thesis to that dragon, and I named him after the mountain.
For the bird lads, I'll stick to Vaughn cause the story he's a part of is an entire saga of change that I might divulge in another post XD He's an albino crow because I wanted to have one of the bird lads to echo the initial species design I did back when I was 14-ish. The decision ended up adding a lot to Vaughn's character and backstory though and I was able to rework him a lot better. If only I can say the same for the main character >^>;;;
Finally, Spirit, the character I never thought I'd get around to drawing again. Would you believe he used to be that one edgy Warrior Cats oc with the red and blue eyes? I'll leave that there with no context, goodbye
