“Hello, yes, 9-1-1, I would like to report a criminally underrated game.”

Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated
I just want to to say that Scooby Doo probably did a good job in avoiding a plot based overarching mystery series up until now. That's not to say that I is bad, far from it, I'm just saying that I'm glad we finally got this in my time on top of all the fond memories built around this franchise. But also because this probably couldn't have been done a few generations ago, cause this thing is great
I just jumped back in somewhere in season 2 and hot damn is this thing getting deep and dark yet it still keeps that core Scooby Doo dynamic that made this franchise while throwing in perfect references to its past iterations. This show started with the Mystery Inc forming, investigating around Crystal Cove, and now we have dead(?) characters, family secrets, and now they're talking about ancient Babylonian planets and alchemy and gods and my head's just like "Why isn't there more of this?!" I really wish they would bring this back for more or at least keep this semi-serious tone.
