About Square.

I saw it coming. They passed an already fucked project onto someone who can't even direct, the game had come out incomplete, and he finally resigned. Say whatever but FFXV is a HUGE part of why Square lost so much money. They were already on steady decline since XIII. Like yeah XV was a financial success but they weren't able to manage them well just pulling DLC out of their asses. I feel bad for the fans but at the same time they still ate that shit up despite how shitty that business practice was.

Square Enix needs to actually try new projects like Octopath, which actually had solid writing and could hold well on its own with no DLC or sequels, instead of dragging old ones into the ground. I'm glad that they can finally fucking move onto newer projects.

To add FF7:R isn't coming out anytime soon bc they barely know what they're doing and probably haven't learned from XV.

Noah fence but one of the most aggravating things about NT's story is Materia.

I was watching the story again and like.. shes not a good character. Materia isn't approachable or even friendly to her own warriors, also smiling at the fact that she had her warriors fight against their will. She does fuck all until it came to compromising with Spiritus, and she hated that idea when Spiritus seemed indifferent about y'know keeping the world from ending because of Shinryu. And like she didn't even acknowledge the fact that her own warriors decided to talk to Spiritus himself, knowing that he wasn't as petty and she was and hearing the news she immediately assumes they'd turn on her like that. Her own warriors don't respect her at all even WoL feels as I'd they should get this done as soon as they can, and those of you who've played 2008 or 012 know about how he is.

People who like Materia aren't bad. Y'all jist need to acknowledge her flaws and understand why people don't like her.. she's not perfect.

The most annoying thing right now is people shitting on Octopath for being priced at $60 for the fact that it is a sprite based game yet never consider the fact that people actually enjoy the story and appeal. Stop comparing 8path to 3d titles just to shit on 8paths graphics and not actually talk about the story. They're noticably different and are good in their own rights.

Good God I genuinely hate the fact that they killed off Crowe so early. Like she was bound to be a good character like they just didn't want to put effort into writing more than one woman. Yikes

The hate for both Ashe and Vaan is completely unjustified and I have to say that the two have the strongest character development in ffxii. Vaan and Ashe both lost their loved ones because of the empire. Both of them are, understandably angry but have different ways of going about it.

With Vaan, he is sad but decides to just live his life and take care of his fellow orphans. And yeah he does wish to avenge Reks but not to the extent of Ashe who's lust for vengeance and regaining power is pretty unhealthy.

And the two connected. They decided to let go of their vengeful attitudes together and went about the rest of their decisions peacefully. And the scene where Vaan talked to Ashe about his past and how he dreams of becoming a sky pirate to cope was really heartwarming.

Nomura actually knows how to write relationships that aren't strictly intimate like just look at KH. My take on something like this would be that Tabata knew how to make money and how to hype ffxv up.

Y'all Balthier is so good... to his companians..how do people not play ffxii when he exisists..

They made Rinoa look so porceline in NT like she used to have asian features in ffviii and now shes just white. :/ its inevitable but still very annoying.. like they want to forget that she was asain..
