How would you describe their clothing style? Do they have a favorite outfit?

artaius likes anything that hides his face, especially his vallaslin, well. hoods, cloaks, and scarves are abundant in his meager wardrobe. he only has one pair of boots, which, despite their ragged state, have done their duty throughout years. artaius refuses to wear anything else. his tag over on my inspo blog has examples of a few things he’d wear.

zeta likes wearing long skirts and dresses, mostly because their hips are too wide to fit anything else. they also like flowing tunics and leather pants (if they fit well). they often have a multiple satchels strapped to their legs and waist, mainly for gathering herbs. their tag over on my inspo blog has examples of a few things they’d wear.

nisrin loves native rivaini garb, and her wardrobe shows it. she tends to treat her body as a canvas, decorating it with an array gold and silver jewelry to light fabric and low cut tops. she likes anything that exposes her midriff and is easily moveable. her tag over on my inspo blog has examples of a few things she’d wear.

rho’s wardrobe is comprised of simple clothing. she doesn’t like anything too elaborate (she absolutely abhors the dresses she has to wear to the orlesian balls), so her common outfit is a pair of earthy colored cotton leggings or pants with an off-white tunic over it. shoes are a thing rho wears only when needed, as she prefers to feel the ground she walks on. she accentuates everything she wears with flowers, no matter the season. her tag over on my inspo blog has examples of a few things she’d wear.

♟- a time they’ve felt powerless

nisrin felt powerless pretty much throughout the entirety of her adolescence. she wasn't allowed to make the majority of her decisions; she wasn't allowed to leave the house/brothel without explicit explanations of where she was going, who she was meeting, what was she doing etc. etc. nisrin's put all of that behind her and she's been so much happier without the constant eyes watching her every move.

zeta felt powerless the first time they displayed their magical ability. they couldn't hide it, with their entire family sans their two younger brothers witnessing the display. a gloom settled over the entire family after the initial shock wore off, because they knew, they knew zeta would have to be taken to the circle or taken someplace else. regardless, zeta would be taken away from them, and they away from zeta. and there was absolutely nothing any of them could do about it, no matter the amount of magical power that zeta possessed. 

artaius felt powerless when the alienage that he was staying in for a time was raided, and the people he'd made some sort of bond with, the only people in his life that he'd ever truly bonded with, were either jailed, tortured, or killed. there was absolutely nothing he could do about it, either, except hide and hope that he wasn't discovered. that event is also the one thing artaius deeply regrets, beyond anything else horrible in his life.

rho felt powerless the moment she was named the keeper's first. she made it very clear to the keeper and the rest of her clan that she wanted no such role, and that the clan as a whole would be better off finding a dalish mage from another clan (this was also one of the only times that rho voiced her opinion so forcefully). rho did not want to be defined solely by her arcane abilities, but unfortunately from that point on, she was.

And for Nisrin, would Solas like to take her out on Fade dates and if so would she like them or think it's too odd to be comfortable?

oh my god YES fade dates would totally be a thing they'd do!!! during their first one, nisrin is totally taken off guard and actually gets sick after. it's just so WEIRD to her, but solas laughs and tells her that it's completely normal (okay not completely) for her to respond like she is, all while holding her hair back. as they continue them, she gets a lot better at keeping her food down and learns to appreciate the fade and finds it pretty interesting. she mostly likes watching solas as he tells her various things about the fade, because he gets this fascination in his eyes and a liveliness in his voice that is almost never there while he's outside of the fade.

i like to think that after a few of their fade dates, solas visits nisrin in her dreams, and when nisrin wakes up, she wants to tell solas that she dreamt of him, but pieces it together. so when she asks him if he went in her dreams, obviously knowing the answer, she just starts laughing while solas starts blushing.

How does your character speak? What are their mannerisms like? What kind of first impression do they give people?

rho has a very calming quality to her voice. it's by no means in the deep soothing register, but rather a high alto, bordering soprano. her's is the perfect voice to read you to sleep. she doesn't talk much, many don't know what to expect from her, but people are normally pleasantly surprised.

nisrin's voice is loud, the majority of her speech in front the of her face, and always has some sort of sarcastic lilt to it. at times she speaks very quickly, in an almost staccato way. she often uses her hands when she speaks, a habit she's had since childhood.

zeta has a deep, strong, and assertive voice. thinks viola davis' voice with a slight antivan accent. zeta seems intimidating to many who first meet them, but once they start speaking, people realize that they're kind, but doesn't play around.

artaius' voice is attractive to some, with it being extremely low in the bass register and having a slight rasp. he likes to have something in his hands when he talks to people, as he hates wasting his time. his voice changes when people talk to him without an objective, too, and it's extremely recognizable. artaius isn't he most approachable person due to his demeanor, and his dismissive way of talking goes along with that.

Does your character have any prominent/meaningful scars or tattoos? How or why did they get them? How about piercings?

rho doesn't have any tattoos and only minor scars and calluses on her feet.

artaius’ vallaslin is dark brown and honors the dalish god falon’din. he also has multiple scars along his hands and arms that came from living in the forest by himself, along with calluses on his fingers from the constant use of his bow.

nisrin is a piercing addict. she has multiple gold piercings both in her ears (a gold capping at the tips of both and three studs in each), a stud in the right side of her nose, and two rings on her left eyebrow. as far as body piercings go, she only currently has a bellybutton piercing (she likes to decorate it with dangling accessories, especially when she wears tops that show her midriff) but nipple piercings are very likely in the near future. nisrin has a few scars as well, most from after she joined the mercenary group. there is one nasty scar from one time a customer decide to cut her along her hips whilst in the mist of his session. she banned knifeplay after that.

zeta only has scars and calluses, mostly from the physical labor they did before joining the inquisition. they have a thick scar perpendicular to their right eyebrow, a jagged scar under their left breast, and multiple smaller but distinct scars on their legs.
