brent reynolds. iris. keeps a potted fern on his desk. he calls it ‘bucky’ and chats with it when he has the watering can. never sleeps with socks on. motionless sleeper- you’d think he was dead. great at paperwork. organizes with colorful folders and neatly written labels. writes in cursive, but his signature is illegible. also shitty at drawing. his dogs look more like donkeys. theatre is his passion and first love. would act, sing, and dance until he dropped dead. often falls asleep poring over scripts and notes. has a powerful tenor voice capable of belting and reducing others to tears. the fact that he likes to keep quiet more often than not makes it even worse. would marathon through marvel superhero movies. loves captain america the most, but also adores black widow and peggy carter. outgoing, but private with his thoughts and emotions. afraid of getting his heart broken once again. has some of the most brilliant blue eyes. hates them and doesn’t like talking about them. avoids coffee like the plague. drinks black tea instead. listens to his music with earbuds. listens to all kinds of music including jazz, showtunes, and mainstream pop music. doesn’t matter if no one’s in the room. carries hand sanitizer wherever he goes. devours literature. his room would be a library if he didn’t have a roommate. on first-name basis with the librarian. working towards a theatre major and an english minor. with all the reading he does, writing comes naturally. charismatic yet distant. smiles often, but genuine smiles are rare. his favorite color is silver. wears a silver ring around his neck in honor of his high school english teacher. has only gotten into two fights his entire life so far. ruthless both times. an early bird. never wakes up past noon. awkward with small children. he isn’t sure how to behave around them. buys artwork from street artists. doodles stars around the edge of his notebooks. theaters are his second homes. he could fall asleep in any of them. hard to get close to, but once one has, he’s gentle, playful, and selfess. fiercely loyal and protective. first to chat with anyone. he knows how it feels to be completely alone in a sea of people and would never wish that on anyone else. works out in the gym. uses all the equipment and jogs. thinks a lot hanging upside down. master in the art of reading upside down. wears contacts but keeps a pair of thick-rimmed glasses. only knows how to use a tea kettle properly. comes off aloof, but one of the most empathetic people. likes small spaces because they feel cozy. soars rather than fumbles under pressure. prefers hardwood floor to carpeting. favorite room in any house is the kitchen. strongly dislikes cigars and alcohol. carries a leather messenger bag. stargazes and watches sunsets and sunrises on rooftops. volunteers to usher for productions he’s not in. ambitious. determined to carve out his path. feels the need to prove something to not only to the world, but also to himself.

mana evans. daffodil. dances like no one’s watching. adrenaline is her drug. skateboards and climbs onto rooftops to feel the wind on her face. theatre runs through her veins. a whirlwind. sings broadway tunes and to the radio. has callused fingers from constant handling of wires and equipment. wears black as a part of stage crew. can’t be bothered in the theater. protective big sister figure, especially to the quieter, more timid members because sometimes silence speaks louder than words and some people don’t get that. bilingual. speaks fluent vietnamese with her brother and his husband. has thick black hair that impossible to tame. chooses carefully. loves freely. a tactile person. doesn’t try to be in the spotlight. she just does her own thing. keeps her problems to herself because she’s already burdened her brother enough. she doesn’t want to do that to anyone else. hates self-sacrificing people. she already knows one and wouldn’t want anyone else in that same position. doesn’t believe in waiting for happiness. speaks with a soft yet sharp tongue. those who listen close enough are the ones worth keeping. listens more and sees more. wears a nonchalant expression yet brutally honest with her emotions and beliefs. does not compromise on what’s most important. has a streak of purple in her hair. forgive-and-forget kind of woman. works part-time at a cafe on campus to pay for tuition. drinks coffee everyday so thank god the cafe she works at has a functional coffeemaker. pho is her favorite food. can fall asleep anywhere. would sleep on a friend’s shoulder if possible. stays up past midnight and wouldn’t wake up before noon if she could. wouldn’t seem like it, but a really good listener. quiet and attentive, she asks questions only when she means them. sympathetic, but never gives pity. gives candid advice a shoulder to lean on. volunteers at a nearby soup kitchen. chats with the regulars and other volunteers. clumsy with romantic love. acts stoic when she’s embarrassed. scarily in tune with teenagers. has a soft spot for stuffed animals. she sleeps with the pooh bear pillow her brother got for her fifteen years ago. would like to read more. gets physically injured often due to stupid and reckless decisions. would join a friend in a fight without a second thought. never wears skirts. dresses are only for special occasions. reserved, but once she gets comfortable, she’s warm, strong, and incredibly compassionate. invigorated by helping people and seeing them smile. selfish. she will not be a door mat for anyone. if she loves someone enough though, she will drop whatever she’s doing to help them. works better in the presence of noise. makes paper stars to pass time. likes the color purple, but red is a close second. really sucks at math. better at science. learns best by doing. watches fireworks and bonfires. listens to the rain and the thunder. would visit the beach any day. finds crowds exhausting. prefers cold temperature to hot. hates lying. master of sass and sarcasm. wants to live and won’t waste her time.
