never side-eyed a character concept as much as I did with Moonshine Cybin, never ended up crying about a character as much as I did with Moonshine Cybin. ditching a perceived maternal/caretaking role only to immediately construct it for herself in a new, safer form with Hardwon and Beverly? wrestling with reproductive angst only ever through jokes about fertility and always being pregnant in Wild Shape? coming back to the crick to ask mee-maw if she’d still be loved if she never had children? my god, Emily.

there was this one time on NADDPOD when Jake referred to Moonshine as “our favorite character” rather than his favorite or the fan favorite, and it’s clearly true, and I just...love the energy the gang brings whenever Emily does something fantastic and insane
