Did she look familiar to the recently-upgraded-to-MkII 1/5th of the new charter known as 1010? A little. She wasn't as extravagant as the on-stage version of NSR's first artist... but there couldn't be many people with the two-toned skin colour this very wet woman had.

Besides, he'd offer to walk a hapless citizen to their destination whether they were a potential colleague or not. That was just the common sense of an android programmed to be good to those around them (especially women).

tried to upload these to my other blog but chrome was doing that Thing it does so i’ll post em here instead...

boredom and a certain dislike of a recolor (mostly just the first panel) made me do this... which is basically a re-recolor with some notes taken from the original and the bright recolor.... but also some choices of my own obvs...

reused a bunch of colors where possible so that it's like cohesive.... focused on value contrast... tho the blonde i kinda just slapped in there... it’s mostly fine though...

i made the background colors simpler in the first panel and made eddie lighter than the background so he popped.... kept some of the brighter colors (but fewer) from the recolored version for the DRAMA but then also made the right panel darker....

kept eddie’s delightfully ugly tie...

original recolor which like, i don’t hate entirely it’s just that like there are TOO MANY colors in that first panel...

so i just wanted to balance it a little... combine aspects of each that i liked....

this isn't me going My Way Is Better by the way but more like... how would I do this keeping these two in mind

there are aspects of both i like. i like the middle panel of the recolor a lot despite the weird bare shoulders, but i'm not as much a fan of the recolor's top and righthand panels. but i like the way it differentiates the word boxes from the bubbles

and the original i like the cool sad mood of the top panel and the drama of the orange and i like the dark eyes and dark hair and the simple mostly monochromatic palette of the pews and church interior so i kind of thought about that you know.... things i liked. and i always love limited color palettes

it's not as ferret-y as it could be, as a design, like, idk, could have a headband with ears or something, but it's just a quick sketch and I was mostly going on vibes and color palette lol
